My husband and I came to this Kohl's to return some Amazon purchases and to look for some needed items ahead of a trip we have planned. I went straight to the women's clearance section when we walked in and found so many exciting prospects that I needed to get a cart to help me carry the items and navigate through the rest of the store. I was quickly and warmly greeted by Sierra who asked if I needed help with anything and asked if there were carts available. She helped grab a cart for me and I thanked her and I asked for her name (I often do this so that I can address people by their name and include their name in my Yelp review). Usually, when I ask someone their name at a store, they share it, I say "thank you so much for your help, *inserts name*" and that's typically the end of the conversation, which is fine. But I appreciate that Sierra asked for my name as well and addressed me by my name for the rest of my time in the store. As a matter of fact, at one point shortly after our introduction, I heard my name being called from around the corner and it was Sierra who came over to let me know that the person she saw me shopping with earlier (my husband) was looking for me, lol. I also really appreciated this because she went above and beyond by looking for me to share that info, and it turned out that my husband had tired calling me on my phone to locate me in the store but I didn't hear it ring. As me and him made our rounds through the store (we were in there for a while), whenever we saw Sierra, she asked if we needed any help and kindly answered our questions. Super helpful and great customer service! Same can be said for the staff at the checkout line as well! This store is clean, well organized, with a good selection of products of regular priced items as well as clearance. and very helpful and courteous staff! I have always enjoyed a good shopping trip to Kohl's. It's not the highest-level of store but they have hundreds of things inside in each department I have routinely found adorable styles of clothing, bathroom, home, decor, and holiday items. I hadn't been to this Kohl's before bc I usually go to the one at Princess Anne area. This one is closer to my home now and is easier to get to off the interstate so I ran in while doing a Target run. It's nice and well-stocked and clean. Staff were helpful when asking where to find something and fitting rooms were spotless. I like the Pembroke shopping complex now that there is a Target and they're updating it and renovating. Some great stores have moved in here and it's easy to spend several hours hitting up various places nearby and running multiple errands easily. Plentiful parking and loads and loads of styles and deals to be found here. I found literally like 15 dresses at fair prices I thought were really cute. Like most brands, they have rewards you can sign up for and you can earn cash back here. Self checkout was super easy and I was in and out very quickly. I'll probably make this my new Kohl's since it's closer to us and I'm not mad about it. read more

Kohl's has really changed. Many racks of items that had no price, and very low selection of bath towels. I used to love Kohl's but only visit when I get a 30% coupon. $27 for a 5-pack of cotton ladies' underwear?? Ummmmm, no thanks. The Sephora section is nice, but know that Kohl's coupons don't apply. Reah was incredibly helpful, I felt like I was at a Nordstroms! The young woman at the cash register was incredibly helpful too. My only complaint (hence 5 not 5 star rating) is that after numerous attempts and several hours online, on the phone, and in Edson, I can't seem to get my phone number linked up to my Kohl's Reward account even when I use my Kohl's card. It's inconvenient to have to enter my email address and I wonder if I'm actually getting credit for all of my purchases and other rewards because it seems I might have more than one account. read more

When you leave a shopping experience, you would assume most likely that you would leave both happy and pleased for the most part with your purchased items, and this just simply was NOT the case at this specific Kohls. Shopping online you kind of shop according to your specific preferences. However, with their in store "Early Black Friday Deals" it felt both confusing with service members loading and unloading all over the place, and their lack of being specific on prices for specific items on actual "sale". This was almost to the point of misleading might I add. For example, I was happily shopping some shirts in this whole area of "5.99 Black Friday" kids short sleeves area only to find in small writing (this was only after asking a staff member who was trying to restock or keep things moderately kept up in this area) "were all rows which clearly looked to be on sale for 5.99?" under the signage. She shared with me "no, only the ones that are listed at 12.99 original price". Then why do all these other shirts in the very same section of this area clearly look to be on "black Friday sale" also?! Not only that, I felt compelled to have to re-check their already listed "sale" items at their random areas for price checking, only to sadly find out (for the most part) they were not the price as listed in the section/area they were found in. Why do I have to do double check with my time and work harder then need be to make sure I am getting the actual sales prices as listed here?! This shouldn't be the case. This doesn't seem honest nor right to me. I left feeling tired and frustrated, and to be honest ripped off as well. The staff member who checked me out at the front was friendly and kind, thus the 2 star rating rather then 1 star...she was an 18 year old gem Who actually works hard, is kind and friendly, and didn't even mess with her cell phone at all during the entire duration of ringing me up. If a person has too actually mention this within their write up, then they have also experienced workers from multiple places and locations that don't seem to have staff members that take their job's seriously anymore or seem to care about the quality of their service to their patrons. This happens more then I would like to mention...which is why I shop online for the most part. Though these "great deals" were "too good" to pass up" (per their ads on tv)....when something sounds "too good" to be true, it usually is. Am I cynical, slightly...but I also like to keep an open mind at all times (and a good attitude at all times if at all possible as well). In this instance, it just wasn't possible to rate this shop more then a 2 star....and one star was solely based on your wonderful staff member at the front checking my items out who most likely needs a raise. read more

Our family of six enjoys this store, evidenced by monthly visits. Today, my son and I were on a new backpack quest for my daughters. All staff were friendly but most didn't quite know the specific items' locations. We ended up chatting with 2 helpful ladies at the customer service counter that pulled up the items by code and confirmed quantity on hand. Just as she offered to help me search, we darted down an untraveled aisle and discovered them on a middle island. Valerie B made checkout a breeze; she even tried to use the $10 off $50 on top of the 20% off discount code already applied. I love Kohls. I really do. I am always forgetting my Kohls cash and they still let me scratch off to get a discount. They are always having some kind of sale, whether it's 5% or 25%. They have name brand clothing for the whole family. Their selection of toys is limited but they have such an awesome selection of kitchenware, clothes, and apparel. I feel Kohl's is underrated and I don't know why. But I love Kohls! The store is always so clean and organized. They always have enough registers open and the wait is never too long. I like Kohl's, I really do. Especially when they have a good sale and you get kohl's cash and can use them! However, I don't shop here frequently and it seems like they always have a sale which equates to it being almost regular price. They have quality products and if you catch them at the right time and are a kohl's card member you get some pretty sweet deals otherwise. If they don't have an item in stock you can order it on the kiosk in store and have it sent to your house for free. (At least that's what I believe I did back in July/August.) I recommend signing up for emails and their app to stay abreast of their sales. I got my husband a dyson ball vacuum for a little more than half off! No lie, on Christmas Eve morning he showed me a picture online and he said he wanted to buy us a vacuum soon. One look and I thought NOT for that price! He's the most difficult person to buy for and I honestly was going to hit Bed Bath and Beyond with my gazillion 20% off coupons but I decided to scout my emails and lucked out on finding a better deal at Kohl's and Christmas Eve was the last day for this sale. To boot I even received a rebate for a $25 pre-paid visa gift card! PLUS $40 Kohl's cash! They are making it rain!! Christmas miracles do happen!! Just kidding, but it definitely was a win win situation. The lady that rang me up was super nice and patient. The gentleman and young lady that I asked for help in locating this vacuum was super nice and helpful as well. I have always been a fan of Kohl's, even though I really do not like to shop. They usually have pretty much anything you are looking for. So the one stop shop is appealing to me. I have been to this particular store easily over a dozen times, so obviously I have found it more than satisfactory or I would not return. On this day a quick objective to find a pair of jeans for my son who is 10 and has wash board abs from the amount time he swims. So it's not always easy to get a slim, as well as get the interior bands that can tighten too. Yeah, he could wear a belt, but he doesn't like them. I found a nice stock of jeans in the boys area and looked them over for around ten minutes without an employee approaching me. This is not only a trend at Kohl's, but other retailers. So is it short staff, or lazy employees. I think in this instance it is short staff. I found what I needed and moved to check-out. I found the cashier to be very nice and smiled the during the whole transaction. I also utilized an online coupon by going to Kohls.com and found a QR code for 20% off anything. The code was easily scanned and I saved $6. I really respect that several companies are moving to online coupons. It's much greener than paper and it's more convenient for the customer... so thank you Kohl's. read more

koHls! Yes I'm a fan. I don't really come here for the clothes though, mostly the other departments. Like many other department stores I find a lack of clothing options for the barely-thirty-somethings. The styles are usually way to young or mature. The shoe, purse, and kitchen departments I visit whenever there is a sale and I get that 30% off coupon in the mail (which can be used on sale and clearance items). I once got a $40 faux fur scarf for about $11 using this combo method and a really nice watch for half price (maybe even less), and a $90 400 thread count Sonoma Queen sheet set for less than $40. Have mercy sheets are expensive! I do not chase the sales when I get the 15% or 20% coupons but I figure 30% could be worth a try especially when purchasing an item already on sale. You only get the "peel to reveal your deal" coupon mailed if you have a credit card. As with all store credit cards the interest rate is high and I do not suggest carrying a balance, if you do you may as well have paid full price. You can make a payment at the register or online or by mail. In the past year I've gotten two pairs of boots here. The most recent this week, $80 boots for 20 bucks. The store is great. It's the credit card part that is horrible. I tried paying my account 6 days before the payment date but May told me I couldn't because I did not have my credit card number. May said to call on 8/6 and I could get an extension and not pay a late fee. Short story I called got the extension when I did pay it I was charged a late fee and when I paid it was well before extension deadline. They treated me like I was dead beat. I will do no business with Kohl's EVER and I suggest no one ever get their credit card because you are in for a ride of your life if you do. read more

This is the spot for Black Friday due to their $15.00 Kohls cash for every $50 spent; however, I didn't do much shopping this time around because... well, since I didn't wait in line for the PS4 & only tried to get it by walking in upon opening at 5PM, it was cleared out. Salty, but it's okay. I got it elsewhere and was super happy about it the rest of the weekend. Honestly, kindness goes a long way. I ordered some presents online & picked them up at this location. The procedure was quick & painless, but from my cashier's excited attitude towards me, it seems like not very many shoppers treated her like a human because she kept thanking me for my patience & seemed stress because she had to get my expensive order from the back, unlike the knife (the cheaper item) being held right up front at the customer service desk. Anyone else ever notice that Kohl's is ALWAYS having a big sale? They're like the national version of the Hampton Roads-based Haynes Furniture, which has become infamous for its commercials touting its "BIGGEST SALE EVER" -- except the biggest sale ever happens every weekend. It's a gimmick, sure, but as a serial sale shopper, I can tell you CAN find really good deals on clothes and housewares. At Christmas this past year, I bought someone one of those fancy-schmancy no-twist wine bottle openers, which are normally $50 or more--on sale for $25. I buy clothes there fairly frequently. "Simply Vera" -- Vera Wang' s bargain line is featured there. I like those styles a lot. This particular store is nice, on of the nicer things about Pembroke Mall and ,frankly one of the only things I'd bee sad to see go is Pembroke Mall goes bye-bye (which it should). read more

It was my first time going into this kohls location and was met with a store in complete shambles. Every department I went through was a total wreck and there seemed to be no workers anywhere to be found. The absolute annoying announcement over heard every 5 minutes just shows how the only thing they care about are their credit openings. When checking out I was rung out by a nasty women named Lori who was loud and extremely pushy and over stepped boundaries trying to force me to open a card. When I asked her about the card and if it was a soft or hard hit she proceeded to swear it was a soft hit and wouldn't discuss the interest rate when I know thats wrong. Even after telling her no repeatedly she would come around the register and put my rewards number in, try to swipe my card, and invade my personal space without a mask when covid is still very much a thing. Even in other stores like Tjmaxx the push for their rewards or credit card applications is no where as demoralizing. This really has been the worst experience in a retail store by far. I'm furious!!! On October 31th, 2019 I purchased a pair of Nike's boots $95 for my 11 year old grandson. The store staff completed the order on the Kohl's kiosk inside the store and he had the boots shipped to the Kohl's (155 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester CT). The boots were supposedly delivered on November 5th... yet no one seems to know what happened to the boots. someone stole them. More importantly, Kohl's Corporation did nothing to help me. This store is in great condition and wonderful repair. The aisles are kept clean and I never have a hard time finding an associate for assistance. I love that when I cash out I can almost always save money with the help of the cashier who tells me about the sales on the app and makes sure that I get the proper credit on my rewards. Even though I'm not a huge fan of shopping, I had to drop by here to complete my daughters Halloween costume. She is dressing up as a as one of the students from a Harry Potter movie. They have a big assortment of everything clothing wise. I am used to a small Kohls in Suffolk but when I came to this one I was amazed at just how much they had to offer. Their customer service was externally nice to talk to but i took forever to finally get to them. Some offer faster service than others as far as checking out goes. However. I was just trying to exchange a pair of pants and for some reason, after telling me they had 8 other pairs in the size I need in stock, it took them a half hour to find them. Great assortment. They are very disorganized and do not know their policies and procedures well as what the in store representatives will tell you something different than the website and the online support. Ordered a dresser on kohls.com on a Friday. When I looked to review the delivery date on my kohls.com account on the next Tuesday I noticed the order was cancelled! I never received a call about it being cancelled and I would have never known if I hadn't looked it up on my account. When I called kohls about it I ended up talking to 6 different people for an hour. I had a different billing address than the shipping address. That was the issue they had so they cancelled the order. When I asked to reorder they would not give me the sale price that I originally ordered the dresser at. Oh but they could give me a credit for the difference that I would get in a week? Makes no sense. Ended up cancelling the whole thing. #beyondannoyed read more

You can find some amazing deals at Kohl's in Pembroke Mall. I bought a few Christmas gifts there yesterday and saved a little over $50 on just four items... I was pretty happy about that! It seems like they constantly have a great sale going on and there are always even better deals if you use your Kohl's charge card. All and all Kohl's has a spectacular home and kitchen section... much better than clothing styles. I will definitely keep shopping at Kohl's! read more
