I've been going to Macy's once in a blue moon for the entirety of its existence in Greenbrier Mall…read more I have no idea why I haven't reviewed them until now. Better late than never. It was a Sunday early afternoon when they just opened. Hubby needed to find a suit jacket. They had a good inventory of suits and also a good sale going on for Ralph Lauren and Kenneth Cole. He opted for a black Ralph Lauren suit jacket 50% off. My 10 year old found some Michael Jordan sweatshirts for 25% so we purchased a couple. When we went to the register to pay, it was not showing up the 50% discount for the suit jacket so the very nice lady went to check downstairs. Sure enough, it was showing only a $.05 discount. They were very apologetic about this. Collectively, they all went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything.

Coming here to clarify an experience that I had 10/7/26. BE KIND TO STAFF, yall, it ain't that…read moreserious. I came to get some Needohs around 9am. Didn't have what I wanted but picked up a consolation prize and left. Came back an hour and a half later based on a tip. About 12 ppl in line waiting for the holiday ones. About five mins later, a gentleman in a blue shirt came out and said that there were no available holiday Needohs. He made the statement brusquely and left. About half the line shrugged and began to leave, myself included, when a woman in a green shirt and ball cap threw an absolute fit. She claimed she'd been in line for "an hour" and had her "elderly father in the car" and she tore into an employee who I found out later was on her first day. This atrocious customer raised such a fit that security had to be called over an $8 toy! I hung around to support the staff, who were pretty much helpless and unable to say things they would probably say off the clock. The poor employees were literally forced to bring out these pieces of plastic to appease this beastly woman. The store staff should be commended for the grace they showed today, particularly Molly, the new employee, her trainer (a tall lady I did not catch the name of), the manager (blue checked shirt) and literally everyone else on the register at that point. To the staff: I'm so sorry someone chose a few pieces of plastic over your dignity. You deserve so much better. To that audacious waste of air: you ought to be ashamed of yourself. I'm sorry that you feel you need to buy your kids' affection because you didn't get enough of your own. Seek help, I have some awesome therapist info for you. There was another customer with the horrible woman who told me "I feel bad for your kids". To her I say: "At least mine know how to treat people decently and can handle disappointment". Therapy for you too and shame on you.

I was on a mission to find comfortable sneakers. So I went to Kohl's. When I walked in the store…read morewas clean and organized. They only have one entrance open at the moment so you'll have to enter through the main side. The shoe section had lots of different shoes to choose from. I tried on so many pairs of shoes my head was spinning. They had Sketcher's, Nike, Under Armour, Puma, Reebok, Van's, and other brands. I don't go shoe shopping often, so prices have definitely increased since the last time. After picking a pair I noticed they had shoes on clearance on the other side. Lol. Omg!! I was not going through that whole process again!! They had jewelry, kitchenwares, clothing, candy, bras, and etc. There were several different sales going on in different departments. There was also a Sephora on the inside, which had a good variety of cosmetics. If you have the Kohl's card you can earn Kohl's cash and get discounts.. Check them out!!

This is a cute but small Carter's location in the Landstown shopping center…read more They had a ton of newborn and children's clothing inside and everything was super stinking cute. Carter's is always having a good sale and they send out coupons via email and mail all the time. I love that they've recently started carrying sizes for older kids. This way I know when my son gets to be a little older, I can still count on good ol Carter's. This store, for its size, has a good selection and the store is easy to shop. It's very organized and bright. I love the atmosphere of the storr. We came to find some pajamas since my son had outgrown all of his size 2T Jammie's. Carter's always has the cutest pajamas!! His favorites are the ones that feature dinosaurs and trucks on them. So that's what we got, new 3T jammies that my son is super excited about. The cashier was very nice and helpful and thanked us for shopping at Carter's.

Customers will find plenty of nearby parking and the lot was clean. Signage fort the store is good. Upon entering immediately greeted by staff and offered assistance. The floor space is smaller by design, it's a boutique not a warehouse. They focus on a particular fashion and sizes and it works for their younger demographic. My daughter was specifically shopping for a top to wear at a concert. She quickly found what she liked. Dressing rooms are in the rear. Considering she had been looking at the mall for over an hour and found nothing makes me think this store absolutely has something an average chain does not. Checkout was friendly and items placed in a nice bag with tissue. The pricing is higher than other stores. The return policy was explained. It's 7 days for a full refund credit back credit or cash. Over 7 is in store credit. So happy this store worked for my daughter and cannot find any reason why to not provide a full 5 stars.

They usually play music videos on the big tv screen above the counter, which matches up with what's playing in the store. That's pretty cool. I have found many neat things here over the years, but most of the store is ladies' stuff. The quality of products vary, some of it is okay while the rest is cheap material sold at expensive prices. Sometimes, there will be a cool item and other times, not a thing! There's almost always a good deal going on any given day. I will say, that about 99% of the time, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. One of the few places where no matter who you are, you're most likely going to be treated with respect. (at least in my experience and observation) Overall, it's worth a look whenever I stop by the mall.

Shoes arranged in less than obvious wall convention. Basically, to the left of a certain point are little kids sizes while to the right was 4Y and above. Lots of industry recognized name brands: Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and Vans. Prices are high, what I'd consider mall price points; definitely well above online retailers and sale outlets. I guess they stay in business by locals' who may not have reliable transportation, internet access, or just like to buy what's in front of them regardless of the inflated markup. Lots of parking available in the shared Southern Shopping Center lot.

At that time I was informed that you are not allowed to try on white anything. You have to gather other colors to try on... why would I want to try on another color when I'm shopping for white? Whem everyone is watching me gather only white ensembles why did not one person say a word? I was not offered help to find other colors or anything. I just put it all back. . They will not get my money! I get that they are probably concerned with getting makeup and stains on their clothing, however, that's the nature of the game! The employees always recognize me by my hair, not by name, but by hair. They be like...you were in here last time and your hair was like... yeah that was me! Too cute! So to be recognized each time is a good feeling! When you don't think they are paying attention...they are!! The employees, I believe are in their early 20s so most of them have a sense of fashion. Therefore, if you come in and you're looking for fashion for your 18 year old and up young lady, they should be able to help you out. I'm no 20 something, but I do tend to find age appropriate clothing, shoes and accessories ALWAYS! Some items are a bit pricey, like department store prices, but I tell you buying the more expensive items here (like $30+) you are less likely to see your outfit on someone else when you head out. So definitely be mindful of your selections. I always check the sale rack first, items usually here are items the "teeny-boopers" passed up on and they are on sale for a great price. I actually brought this haute (hot) outfit a few years ago from here I wore to the yelp Fire & Ice Party and I received so many compliments on it...yeah costed me $10 - winning!! The store is spacey and no worries of bumping into others or racks while shopping. It's also bright in here, so no crazy lighting in which you can't really tell the color of something. There are about 6 dressing rooms and it's never a wait when I visit. And I usually visit on Wednesdays about 6pm - 7pm. The store is located in the Janaf shopping center of Norfolk. Yes, a shopping center! There are several stores located on this strip. Stores from: Walmart, TJMaxx, Old Navy, Rainbow etc. Men, women and children fashion and eateries are located within walking distance as well. But this is the kicker here...They have a sign that lets customers know, you cannot try on anything white. OMG...when I saw this I immediately was turned off, but I totally get it. Some ladies can be messy and try to squeeze into this and that and therefore, due to limited sizes and the demand for all white attire, this sign is understood. But...just be careful that you select the correct size, purchase it and try it on when you get home (take off makeup and anything that can stain the garment). If the item doesn't fit - return it if it's not a final sale. Seemingly, you should check the return policy before you purchase. I'm totally a fan of this location. And items found here, can be found online at most of your popular online boutique sites. So before you think about purchasing online and paying extra (shipping and taxes), come in and look here first. No trouble finding parking - at night the parking is pretty well lit, not 100% sure, but always be careful. Have fun!
