Not happy with my checkout experience here. So crazy that one cashier is available with a line of 10 people. The one cashier has to go on the floor then in the stock room to find a shoe for a customer while there's at least 3 people on the floor. Another person came to check out area but didn't help. Finally another cashier came but she was new and wasn't familiar with all aspects of check out. She, however, was very nice and patient. The selection here is good. I like that there's a large variety of athletic shoes as well as other types. Having jewelry, handbags, and accessories make it a one stop shop. More cashiers would make the experience enjoyable instead of aggravating. read more

We had a very successful day of boot shopping! They had a great selection and tons of sizes and options! Unfortunately we asked On our way out of there were any deals or sales going on since we had spent quite a bit of money on 5 pairs of boots, the woman at the register said no there was nothing going on. When we got home we got an email that said it was the last day for $60 off we could've saved $60 on our almost $200 purchase but the employees don't know their own sales and give you false answers when you ask them to check. Insanely disappointing! I won't shop at this location any longer and I'm hoping if we bring the receipt and show them the email we can get this coupon added on after the fact. read more

Inside, the store is well laid out and there are plenty of places to sit and try your shoes on with little floor mirrors that let you see what the shoes look like on your feet. Those fake little foot stockings are hard to track down, so grab a few if you find a box. Prices here are reflect the shoe brand quality. Don't waste your time if you have a wide foot .IMPOSSIBLE! It always amazes me when I ask if they are caring wides yet and they say "not in the store , but we can order them" NO , I do not want you to order them so I can lay out a couple of hundred dollars and have to bring them all back when they don't fit. Sorry , As a person with wide feet , I would like to try the shoes on just like everybody else does. We would like a positive shoe buying experience not one that is full of frustration And disappointment. I'm always been told people are asking for wide shoes and yet the powers that be don't want to listen. Great shoe store! Location is great but the parking can be difficulty since there are 2 restaurants there and also 2 gyms in the area. Just go at off times earlier in the day and I've never had a problem. There's lots of parking in the garage if you're willing to walk just a few more minutes. If you're looking for shoes at great prices.. whether it's for running or a night out, you'll definitely find something for everyone here! Their clearance section has many choices as well so be sure to check out that section. Store is clean and organized well. Lots of space to try shoes on. Staff is friendly, although sometimes if you do have a question, it's hard to find someone to help you. But I think basically if your size isn't there, it probably isn't available. Oh DSW, you kill me with your rewards certificates and affordable prices. I have to watch how often I actually step foot (pun) in the store, lest I use up my monthly budget in shoes! Often times, I'll stop into this DSW to find shoes for special occasions. Most recently, that was a job interview a couple weeks back. After perusing the shelves for a few minutes, I found the most perfect shoes -- and landed the job, though I can't say for sure if there was any correlation! My only very minor complaint is how quickly the freebies go. A clerk said that after the mailers for free items (with a purchase) are delivered, usually the stock is emptied within a few days. I knew the gods were smiling down on me when I first saw the letters "DSW" on one of the newly constructed buildings by the Wegmans in Cherry Hill. Whenever I walk through the doors of a DSW, I can actually hear Carrie Bradshaw saying "hello lover!" in my head. Everything is laid out in a way that makes perfect sense to women (but would likely baffle straight men). The fancy, "I'm going to be the girl with the hottest shoes at the wedding-shoes" are against the right wall, and from there they are laid out in rows by heel size, from right to left. There are loads of mirrors everywhere so you can check out your kicks, and tons of little benches so you aren't toppling over yelling "TIMBER" as you balance on one stiletto while trying to fasten the other. The best part is that the concept is simple and time-saving. You see a shoe you like, you look for your size. If it's there, rockin! If it's not, move on sister, it was not meant to be. That's it. No waiting for the sales guy at Macy's to "run to the back" only to come out with two pairs of shoes in a half size smaller and a half size larger than what you actually asked for. I used to love this place but not anymore. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for my items and still only picked up 2 out of 10. Quite a few of my items have been shown online to be sitting at the DSW store in Cherry Hill since Saturday, but I still have not gotten the text message to come pick my stuff up and I really want my stuff. I will not be ordering online from DSW again, because the wait is just too much and I had no idea it could take so many days for them to say OK come get your stuff after reaching their store. When I went there Friday morning to pick up items (because online it said they were at the store but I never told me to come pick it up), the cashier was very helpful and found two of my items up front even though it didn't say to pick it up yet....she let me have them. That's why I'm like my stuff is sitting there and I'm not able to get them. That's not cool. read more

I absolutely love DSW Shoes! I would always buy my boots & sandals here. I was actually there earlier to buy boots. I had a dilemma between 2 boots & actually ended up buying them both. I just couldn't resist since they were both in the clearance section. What can I say? I love shoes. Many of my favorite brands like Steve Madden are sold much cheaper at DSW Shoes. Awesome deals much? The aisles however, were oddly constructed. Wouldn't it make sense to have a pathway in front of the entrance instead of having to walk around the aisle of shoes that's directly in front of the entrance when you walk in? I actually felt like I had to go through an obstacle maze to get to the clearance room they had in the back. Shh, gotta start out cheap before getting to the regular priced shoes. Haha. Last few visits to DSW have resulted in a longer than appropriate wait for a cashier. Cashiers are polite and efficient but there simply isn't enough help. Otherwise stire is clean with nice selection. Another visit and more long lines. People in line are frustrated with service. Try another shoe store! I won't be back. read more

After being a long time customer here I purchased a pair of shoes from DSW. While wearing them for the first time I noticed there was a defect in the shoes. I didn't wear them again knowing I would return them. I brought them back about a week later to the team member there. She inspected them after I told her they were damaged & needed to return them and told me that they were worn & DSW doesn't take worn shoes back. I told her they were worn once when I saw they were damaged. She repeated that they normally don't take worn shoes back would call the manager over. When the manager arrived she then told him the same thing now drawing attention from others in line. The manager told me that they normally don't take worn shoes back but they would take them back as damaged and give me store credit. I told him that's all I wanted from the beginning. After the transaction I had a conversation with the manager who said he would have returned them as well. If that's the case, then why did they make a point of humiliating me in public. I received the credit but I guess that respect and courtesy is the payment at DSW for store credit. I was a regular customer at DSW. I shopped there often - without returning items. They had very good prices for for the higher end brands that they sold. Best yet is their clearance sections is as big as their normal selection and somehow with even better deals.
