Jim digiuilios shoes . I went there a few times when my children are young ... To be perfectly honest they weren't very nice and took other customers who arrived after me first. A couple years later I had a pair of insulated boot resoled by them they did a terrible job and also did not have my laces on my boots They said they weren't responsible for my laces. I had to argue to get them to give me pair of laces. Really very poor service. Ruined a very good pair of Bass pro shop insulated waterproof boots . And charged me 90 $ read more

Aside from running shoes, there are not many activities which I loathe more than shoe shopping. So when I found myself with 3 pair of heals which had lost the little black rubber thingy (that's the technical name) on the bottom of the heal, the thought of having to replace them sent me into a mild panic attack. Then, as if a beam of light from heaven shone down, I passed by Digiulio's and realized they do repairs! I brought in my 3 pair, and they were able to repair them in less than the week they originally predicted, for only $10 per pair. Quite a bargain compared to having to buy brand new shoes, let alone the stress involved in trying to find shoes which meat my many criteria. The gentleman who waited on me in the store was nice enough, but I was just a little off-put when he seemed really stuck on the fact that I'm a woman who doesn't enjoy shoe shopping. He said "that's REALLY weird" several times. But, I can put that aside for a good repair job. I didn't buy anything shoes here, and looking at their prices, they are quite high. I will, however, continue to use this local business to make any further repairs I encounter with my shoes, to avoid shoe shopping as long as humanly possible. "You'll be sued." This is what the manager at DiGuilio's Shoes told me would happen if I posted on social media about how bad their customer service is. That will give you an idea of the way this business is being run these days. I took my kids to Digiulio's years ago. They had a wide range of quality children's shoes as well as styles for any age. The prices were high, but I thought the quality was well worth it. I went back after all these years and I swear that place is not the same as it used to be. I moved back to the area about a year ago and was taken aback on how things have changed at Digiulio's. First - almost their entire stock is geared to senior citizens. I have nothing against seniors (being one myself) but if you're looking for killer party shoes for your next Meet Up singles group, this isn't your place. Shortly before going away on vacation, I bought 2 pairs of shoes at Digiulio's. When I came home, I tried them on again and decided one of pair didn't fit right and might cause me problems. I took them back to the store. The woman manager took one look at my receipt and told me flatly "No refund. After 14 days, we don't do refunds." Please note: I was TWO days late. I tried to explain I had been away... nope. She didn't even let me finish my sentence. She didn't ask what was wrong with the shoes, didn't offer to re-fit with different choices... nada. After several minutes of back and forth she told me I could have store credit. Never mind she could see how upset I was. Never mind it was only TWO days late. And when I told her I would put this on social media, she threatened that I would be sued. There you have it. Mr. Digiulio, are you going to sue me? All I wanted was a refund. What a shame that my fond memories of your store have been ruined. read more

First of all this place says its a shoe repair place but it's not. It's a shoe store with over priced shoes. I took in 2 pairs of boots that needed to be resoled. They told me it was not worth it to repair them. What kinda of a shoe repair place turns you away? My guess is that since they are a shoe store they don't want me to repair my boots & just spend double the price on new pair of boots? Sorry I didn't fall for your trick. 1 pair of my boots are $300 boots in great condition. They just need a little TLC from all the snow & salt from last year. A simple new sole & a shine would solve the problem. So I found another REAL shoe repair place that is replacing the sole for $45. Voila! New great boots that I love under 50 bucks. Also they were rude & not very helpful. When they turned me away, I asked if there was another shoe repair place & they said no. No help. Again she told me "It's not worth repairing your boots". So I got back on Yelp & found this great little mom & pop place with a little old guy & indeed he said he could do it. No fuss no drama. Don't waste your time here if you need to repair your shoes. I have bought shoes here before for work several times. The price is high but you get comfortable shoes that last longer. But this last time I came in they went above and beyond. My feet had been hurting and my shifts were ending after they were closed and I stopped in on my way to work, with only twenty minutes to spare. I couldn't find a pair to suit me in that time frame but the guy waiting on me,( I wish I had gotten his name ) took my current shoes in the back and worked magic on them to make them more comfortable. I must say, I had heard very good things about this place. Supposedly very knowledgeable sales people, I wouldn't know as I was not approached. There were 2 customers in the store both being waited on by sales people. With a third salesman hanging around he stood behind my wife and I for a good 5 minutes without greeting us, then disappeared into the back of the store. One in the front finished up with their customer helped the second out for a period, I had now been looking all over the store at this point just to get noticed about 15 minutes, at this point in time my wife and I left without making a purchase of 2 pairs of sneakers. Still out looking hopefully will find something comfortable. Very disappointed will not try again. I normally buy at least 2 pairs a year as I work in retail and am on my feet all day. I went to this store expecting to drop $400- $500 on 2-3 pairs of sandals today, having purchased two pairs of shoes about 3 months ago. On that visit, we were alone in the store and were helped by a female employee. It was a great experience- we thought we would be customers for life. This time could NOT have been more different. We were not greeted when my husband and I entered the store. A female employee was with a customer, but a gentleman stood out in the store area, watching us, saying nothing. When we asked him if he carried a certain brand he replied with a curt "No" and nothing else. Honestly- the whole vibe was just terribly unwelcoming and he acted like we were there to rob the place or something. I can't adequately describe to you how off-putting the lack of service was. We remained in the store about 10 minutes waiting for a "hello" or offer of assistance, or even a simple acknowledgement that someone would be with us when they could. And then we left to shop online. Because why shop at a store if they don't want your business- which this store so obviously does not seem to want. read more

I am super impressed with this store! I got there just a few minutes before they closed. I was very happy that they didn't rush me out the door but stayed a few minutes to help me find just the right shoe that I needed. I understand they can order Orthaheel shoes (which is what I was looking for) but their stock isn't a great as I would like. And that is why I gave them a 4 out of 5 stars. If they had a bigger selection it would have been 5 without a doubt!!!!! read more
