However, I am not pleased with my last experience. I am writing to caution you to BEWARE OF THIS CLEANERS! In addition to the high prices, the workers are rude and unprofessional! While this post is primarily about an experience with one worker, I have witnessed other workers on their cell phones cursing at the callers while attempting to serve customers. But I digress... 1. One of the garments I wanted cleaned is a silk blazer. I received a phone call from a representative of the cleaners approximately 30-45 minutes after leaving my items to notify me that they do not dry clean silk. I received no explanation, just "we don't do it," with the promise that my jacket would be returned and my bill adjusted. 2. Usually there is a 1-day turn-around for my orders. I dropped my clothes off on Wednesday afternoon and was notified 3 days later that they were ready (on Saturday when I was out of town). Again, no explanation. 3. Monday morning when I went to retrieve my order, the order was not correct. Specifically, one piece was added (a men's shirt) and one piece was missing (the skirt to one of the suits). When I brought the two mistakes to their attention, the shirt was removed and I was told they would look for the skirt. I stood to the side to wait. After a couple of customers came in, I was given the option to take the items that were ready and told that I would be called after the skirt was located. While I appreciate the offer, I respectfully declined. 1. A private conversation would have been helpful. Instead, the OFFER mentioned above was yelled across the room from behind the counter. 2. After a few moments, another yelling across the room from behind the counter attempted to alert me that "this is why I TOLD you not to wait. I have to look for your skirt between customers." I said nothing. 3. When there was a break, I was again YELLED at from behind the counter that this is why "I told you to leave while I look for your skirt, because I have to deal with these customers." There are a few things that should be considered. First, Triangle Cleaners was in error. Second the person who communicated with me was RUDE! Instead of having a one-on-one conversation with me, she chose to YELL across the room while attempting to serve other customers. What was happening with my clothes was absolutely NONE of other customers' business. Third, her multiple attempts to get me to leave could have been better used looking for my garment. When I attempted to tell her that, she cut me off. Specifically, she did not let me speak at all. Since she wouldn't listen to what I attempted to say, I raised my voice so that she could hear me. She told me not to raise her voice at her, while she CONTINUED TO YELL AT ME!!!! She would not let me talk because (as she said), "I am talking." I allowed her to talk, and (when there was a pause) I asked her if she was finished. Her response was, "Yes." When I started talking, she cut me off again. RUDE!!!!! RUDE!!!! RUDE!!! It's amazing to me that someone who attempts to DEMAND respect does not give any. I asked for the owner's name but wasn't given it. Of course, that information is easy to find. His name is: Prashant Gongidi. I was told that the owner would call me "as soon as possible." Well, 48 hours have passed and I have not received a call. That's fine. I had written a letter to him that I was planning to send via certified mail, so that he would know about the RUDENESS of his employee. But why waste my money on someone who cannot call one of his customers? I have previously recommended Triangle Dry Cleaners to other people. When I did not receive a call from the owner in 24 hours, I have contacted all those people I remember to rescind my recommendation. I additionally added to this review that I had drafted on Monday. I have received my missing item. I was given a 30% discount for my inconvenience. But I have not received an apology for the rudeness of the employee. I understand that people make mistakes; I understand that businesses make mistakes. However, I do not pay my money to be treated the way I was treated at Triangle Dry Cleaners. Their services is NOT that good! DO NOT GO TO TRIANGLE DRY CLEANERS! They are rude, unprofessional, and the quality of their work has definitely diminished since I first happened upon the place.
