I wish I could give this business 10 stars for the exceptional way I was treated as a customer! Ms. Thui, the owner of A2Z and Lakeside cleaners made a huge impression on me. I wrongly thought that they had discolored a brand new clothing item and was very upset. I brought it back to A2Z and went to Lakeside to speak to the owner. I was very upset and Ms. Thui promised if she couldn't correct the problem, she would buy me another one. Well, she was so determined to make me happy, she personally drove to the store where I bought the item and called to let me know she purchased a new one and it was at the shop waiting to be picked up. When I showed up, Ms. Thui wasn't there, but when her employee presented me with the new item, it was clear that it was exactly the same color as the original one-- there had been no discoloration or fading whatsoever and she had still bought me a new one to make me a happy customer. I wouldn't take the new one because I was totally wrong but they still treated me with kindness and respect. I want everyone to know that not only do they do a great job at these two cleaners, they have top notch customer service and integrity. This place is so horrible. I took my clothes in, and the bill was $61.00. I went to pick them up, and the bill was $68.00. They charged my card without telling me. I noticed it and was told they miscounted my shirts. I asked for light starch on my shorts, and they didn't put any starch on them. My grandmother's dress had a small stain on the sleeve, and they didn't get it out. I explain my concern. They did say they would redo my granddaughter's dress, but I travel from another town. Needless to say, I'll find another location. Save your money because you will be disappointed. read more

A suede coat was dropped off with this business. The person who took the jacket gave a receipt with the amount due. I was then notified after 5 days, they did not clean the jacket and the cost wasn't $8.98 but $55. They refused to clean the jacket for the price we were quoted. They didn't care that the mistake in THEIR part and said the coat needed to be picked up. They don't care that we were quoted wrong and refused to own up to their mistake and clean the jacket for the cost quoted. If they make that kind of mistake on the quote, can they be trusted to clean it properly?? read more

I have been going to this business for several years. We find the price reasonable (something that is rare to find in Rowlett) and good service on the whole. It's in a convenient location and everyone drives by them if you live in Rowlett. They repair little things too like sewing on buttons. I recommend going to this business. One wish- I wish that laundry and ironing service was cheaper for women. Since our shirts don't fit on the machine or something, we have to pay for full dry cleaning service to launder our shirts. I work and my husband doesn't, so I am the one that needs the good price in our house. I have to pay twice or three times as much, like a pink tax. Seems kind of behind the times all around for local dry cleaner. read more

Terrible customer service. They lost 2 shirts that cost $100 each. I went to pick up my order and was given the wrong order. I didn't realize it until I got home. I returned the order and asked for my order. They said they didn't have it. I asked them to check the records as I had 2 shirts that cost $99 each. They said they would review cameras and get back to me. I asked to speak to manager repeatedly and she is conveniently never there. The manager never called to try and figure out where my clothes were or to give an update. I went back 3 different times and was told every time that they don't have the shirts. The last time, I was told that the manager said I was crazy. read more
