These people are crooks!!!! I brought in 1 simple load of laundry to be washed and folded. I asked for all my shirts to be put on hangers. They didn't do as instructed and charged me $95.00. I'm in shock! How are they in business. I am new to the area and have used this cleaners twice. I should have learned from my mistake the first time, when they charged me an outrageous price to launder a shirt. NEVER again would I give this place an opportunity to gouge me again. There are so many other cleaners in this area who do a great job for 1/3 of the price !! I received a phone call from Freeman's Cleaners who used the words, "You made a false statement in a review in 2019 and need to take it down. You should not have complained about our prices. I'm looking at your ticket now." I thought it was a prank call. Surely a company wouldn't call me about this from 2019. I looked back over their reviews, there is a Jami Smith who reviewed, however, it's not a review from this Jami Smith. Calling to debate over a review from 2019, and accuse the wrong Jami Smith of lying on a review, unbelievable. They shouldn't call at all to discuss a review from 2019 and If they do, think about the possibility of the existence of more than one Jami Smith and choose better wording. The caller was matter-of-fact, accusatory, and rude. They have lost another Jami Smith as a customer. After reading the reviews about their pricing, be prepared! Never ever use this dry cleaner. They give you a cost and when you go to grab your items, they raise the price. They charged $80 for 2 dresses. I've used other dry cleaners that charge $8 a dress. The price they charged was worth more than the dresses themselves. I will never be going back. read more

The girl who helped me was very rude. I drove up and she stared out the window and tried her absolute best to "not to see me" so she didn't have to come outside to assist me. When she did come out, she didn't greet me or smile. She asked rudely what my phone number was and turned around and when back inside. This was my first time at this cleaner and I 100% will not be back. If I am coming to your business, I shouldn't be made to feel like I am inconveniencing your employees in doing their job. I will say the clothes were cleaned properly but I am big on customer service. If you want to win over the guest and keep them as a loyal customer you have to treat them like you appreciate their business. read more

Be VERY careful!!! They charged me $96 for 13 polo shirts and 2 blue jeans, over $6/garment. That was over 2 times what my normal cleaners charges me just down the road. My normal cleaners was closed due to COVID19. I think Freeman's is taking advantage of us during the COVID19 situation. Get a price UPFRONT before you leave. That was my mistake. I drove up to the drive thru, clothes in hand, no one came to my car after waiting there, but I could see the hours and knew they were open. I finally saw a woman walking around inside, she looked straight at me and kept working, I figured maybe she let someone know I was waiting. But nope. I waited longer, no one came out. I honked. No one came out. However, I did get the attention of the staff working here. I saw them look straight at me! No one ever came out to my car, so I just drove a hundred yards away to Park Cleaners. Park Cleaners is run by teenagers by they are very friendly and have excellent customer service skills. I will never try this place again. read more

If zero was an option, they would without a doubt receive that rating. The customer service is horrid at this overly expensive dry cleaners. The owner is by far the rudest person/business owner I've ever encountered in the service industry. We paid almost $500 to have our custom slip covers cleaned for our sectional. After two weeks they were finally ready to be picked up, only to get them home and find dry cleaning solution spots on on 90% of the pieces. The one nice and respectable employee there acknowledged how much we had paid and confirmed the spots that weren't there before as solution from their cleaning. She apologized and they offered to reclean them. A hassle but not the end of the world. After picking up for a second time, another week later after being told 3-4 days, they got the spots out of most of the pieces. After inspecting them at home, there were still a few that had the spots. Took them back again, this time to deal with a rude employee who started to try and place blame and say the spots were there. They took them back and another 3-4 days later picked them up. Still didn't get the stains out of one piece. My wife took it back and was rudely greeted by the owner, who proceeded to tell her that she was a liar and how dare her say that they caused the spots on the slip cover. He argued and accosted her for 10 minutes before agreeing to clean the cover and told her this would be the last time. I finally picked it up 4 days later and was rudely greeted by the owner when I asked to pick up the final slip cover. He was sure to tell me "no re-do, no re-do" and he handed me the cover, with the same spots on it that they couldn't get out. Not ever offering an apology or partial refund for the hassle of it taking almost a month to get all of our slip covers back. Just the absolute worst customer service and attitude from the owner. I highly recommend going down the street to one of the other few dry cleaners around the corner. This place will not only overcharge you, but will verbally assault you if you dare mention they messed up. There are too many options out there with great owners and great customer service to give your money to this place. read more

Over $20 a dress to press is ridiculous. Very expensive - do not recommend. They were basic everyday nothing fancy dresses. I can understand for formal prom dresses. Just needed them pressed not cleaned and it was $86 for 4 dresses. Will not be back. read more

I'm new to Yelp and I'm confused about the other reviews! Must've been a few off days for them. I've never had any major problems with their customer service. But maybe it's because my main priority is that my clothes are handled with good care. They are not cheap, but honestly, I like to wear nice clothes and want a dry cleaners that takes good care of my clothes. I've been to other cleaners and after a few cleanings, the clothes look tired and eventually need to be thrown out. There is a difference between a boutique cleaners that hand finishes all of the clothes vs a dollar cleaners where all of your clothes are put through a machine and not hand touched. This cleaners does quality work. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's worth occasional spotty service for the high quality workmanship. If you care about your clothes, you should definitely send your clothes to Freeman's...you'll see what I mean over time. I just moved and hope I can find a similar cleaners in NY! read more
