Overall, as far as washaterias go, this is okay. Well, and it's the only one in the Rockwall area. But, definitely could be much cleaner. The inside rims of the washing machines have hair and nasty-looking grime. I hate trusting my sheets and intimates to these washers. Would never use them for comforter type bedding. The detergent drawers are caked with the goopy residue of the detergent of previous users. Many of the machines are quite new, and if only they were properly cleaned, on a REGULAR basis, they would be great, and I would definitely give a much higher rating, probably 5 stars. But, the attendant just pushing dirt around the floors with a broom, and occasionally mopping is simply not the thorough cleaning that gives me confidence. I understand that cannot be a fun, desirable job, though it provides plenty of time for personal phone calls... Sure would be great if regular wiping of the machines could be coupled with those phone calls. read more

I thought for a laundromat it was decent. The person working there was friendly, responsive, and very helpful. Having not been to a laundromat in quite a while it was great to have someone helping me. She even said whatever coins I had left she would exchange back to bills, love that since I don't want to carry a huge amount of quarters with me until I have to go back. I was able to do 5 comforters in an hour and they were as clean as could be for having a ton of cat hair on them, which is why I had to go to a laundromat in the first place, our washer absolutely stinks when it comes to getting rid of the cat hair. Does anyone want a Whirlpool top-load washer and dryer!? I want my old kind of front-loading washer back (I'm not selling them yet, probably around Labor Day)! read more

I needed a super large washer for my king size comforter, so I tried this laundromat. it is nice and clean! Why don't y'all take any card payments? It's like you are doing "cash only" to launder money for your other companies. Not cool...cash payments are out of date. Maybe consider getting a card program or at least an ATM. Super sneaky sounding for a "laundering company". read more

I use this laundry to wash quilts and large items that won't fit in my home washer. Recently there must have been a staff change. The lady who used to work there was nice and helpful but the woman who works there now is rude and treats me as if I've never done laundry before. When I walked in the door with my hands full of quilts she followed me and got very close to me saying, "you can't wash all that in one washer". Well of course I couldn't - been doing laundry for 70 or more years now and am pretty good at it. She talked condescending and rude to me which put me in a bad mood. Then I went back a week later to wash a doggy bed and she acted the same way. Is this how you treat a customer who spends $20 in an hour? If there was a choice in Rockwall I wouldn't be back. In fact it may be worth using a dry cleaners for quilts from now on. read more

This was my second visit to this facility. It's not the best, but it is one of the better facilities in the area. They have on-site staff and a coin machine. There is also a snack machine and soda machine. The restroom is okay. The toilet and sink are both clean. This place can use a few updates. It is a busy location, and there is a wait for a dryer. The washing price is $2.50 for 13 minutes. The first 17 minutes of the dryer is $1.00; however, it is $0.25 for each additional minute which is a bit pricey. My worst experience had someone bust into the restroom while I was pottying. Please double-check the door or have a human door guard. read more

This laundromat is the best one I've been to...and I travel a lot so that's saying something. The owner was willing to change the laundry for us while we were doing errands!!! You could tell that customer service was a priority here which makes it stand out from your typical "Run of The Mill" questionable laundromat. 100% give this one a try. read more

It's a laundromat. The floors were clean and the place was well lit up. A number of machines were red tagged out of order, but the one I used worked fine. Conversation with the woman in charge was polite but don't expect to find someone who is happy and pleased to see you because that's probably not going to happen. I have never been to a laundromat that is THIS EXPENSIVE. $2.00 for a top loader? That's the same price as the front loader!!! But you have no competition as this is the only laundromat in RW. $1.00 for TEN MINUTES of drying time, then $0.25 for each additional THREE MINUTES??? You're better off driving to Garland. The place at Belt Line/Garland in the Babe's shopping center has free dry and isn't going to cost you $20 to wash a few towels and bed linens. read more

I do laundry here every two weeks. I have about 50 lbs of clothes each time. And it only takes me about 1.5 to 2 hours to clean them all. I am an early bird so the place is never busy when I go. One of the cleanest laundromats I've used. And there is always a nice lady on site to help. She even will give you quarters for your change. Somehow I am lucky to always get the spot right in the front but it has a decent sized parking lot right out front It would be nice if all the dryers got as hot as the ones in the front that are the most expensive. Washers are on the small size too but I can fit all my clothes in one extra large and a medium. Coin machine hasn't failed me yet but I still always count. read more

This place is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a place to wash some clothes. There are lots of machines and they worked. I came in on a Saturday morning. There were several people there washing, drying, folding. There are about 40 washing machines and about 22 dryers. I did plan ahead. I brought my own quarters and my own soap. I come to this laundromat at least 2 times a week to wash my work clothes. I don't have a washer at home so this is sort of convenient since it's only a 10 minute drive from my house. I've never had problems with the lady who works there but today left a bad taste in my mouth. When I walked in I had see the wet floor sign but the floor was completely dry and someone was blocking the way to go by the dryers, so I went the long way around. As I did that the lady said "The floor is wet, don't go through there." I tell her I'm sorry and go to the machine to load it. Then comes around and tells me to go the other way the next time. Ok, a little weird but understandable. After we loaded our washer we sat talked and my sister and cousin wanted to see what the Mexican restaurant next door had so they go and check that out. I went outside to talk to someone and then came back in and sat, occasionally checking the washer. My sister and cousin come back with food and the lady just kind of lingers around us as we eat which made me uncomfortable. Next we check the washer, see it's done then move it to a dryer. We occasionally check to make sure we can leave soon since we were cutting it close to go to work. The dryer is done and I start checking to make sure everything is dry and my sister comes up with me. As my sister walked up the lady decides to comment "If you girls insist on walking around then you're going to mop." Me and my sister just look at each other in shock since we haven't walked around much other than to check our machines. After that I told my cousin to bring me my basket so we can just leave. She then comes up and tells me and my sister "I'm not trying to be rude but the least you can do is show a little respect." I would like to know how I was disrespectful when I was only washing my clothes, talking with my sister & cousin, and checking the machines. I do not recommend going here as you will be disrespectful for just being in the laundromat. read more

Not a reliable place to do clothes. There are dryers that do not get hot, the coin machine gave me $.75 for my dollar, and of course no one on site to help with complaints. Use at your own risk! $1.75 for regular washing machine, $1 for 14 minutes on the dryer. If they were properly working machine that would still be high. Prime example of lack of competition equals poor service. read more
