I came in to do my laundry and my mom's, and the experience was very disappointing. The employee with glasses moved the cart I was using without asking and even put one of my baskets on the floor. When I told her I needed both carts, but she put it back. I put my clothes in the dryers and stepped out briefly to pick up my mom. When I came back (about 15 minutes later) the employee had taken my clothes out of two of the four dryers I was using, even though the laundromat was empty and there were plenty of open dryers. She said another customer need it the dryers, and later claimed her employer told her to remove unattended loads. I told her that I 100% agreed when is busy and no dryers are available. What bothered me most is the inconsistency! on a previous visit, when the laundromat was extremely busy, I waited over 45 minutes for an unattended dryer because the staff told me removing clothes would be an "invasion of privacy." I used to like coming here and would drive 7-8 minutes from home, even with laundromats closer to me. But after today, I won't be returning. read more

My brother and I come to this laundromat every Friday. We usually go in the evenings and everything is fine then. But when we come in the morning, the lady who works at that time makes us feel uncomfortable. Last Friday, my brother said hi to her to be polite, and she didn't say hi back. She just turned her face away. That was rude and it made the whole visit feel bad from the start. Another thing is that when our washing machines finish, she always comes right away and tells us, sometimes yelling it out. And if we don't answer her the first time, she repeats it again even louder. I know maybe she thinks she's helping, but it just feels annoying and like she's always watching us. There was another time when we were using three laundry carts, and she got mad about it. Later we asked another worker who comes in the evening, and she told us we can use as many carts as we need. So we don't understand why the morning lady was upset. Also, when we pay with a card, she looks bothered, like we are interrupting her, even though that's her job. Overall, the morning lady gives a bad vibe and makes us not want to come at that time anymore. We prefer the workers in the evening because they are nice and never make us feel uncomfortable. read more

I have used to this facility many times over the past few months while our house is under repairs. I am very impressed. Although it is clean and most staff are friendly, I found the place is spotless when Yvonne is present. Yvonne is always smiling and quick to stop whatever she's doing to help my family (we're new) and other customers. She is the hardest worker I've seen here - cleaning the machines, the floor, clearing trash, etc. I've never seen her sitting still. She was very kind when I asked her during a visit to help me understand how the machines work, how much clothes they hold, how much detergent , bleach to use, and other tips because I haven't used a commercial washer in decades (except for when using drop off service). Her knowledge and advice has helped me tremendously to feel comfortable using these huge machines. This is the best place that I've found in Dallas, Richardson, & Garland to wash/dry clothes and I live 5 miles away. I always have a good experience when Yvonne is on staff, it's definitely the best place to wash and dry. read more

Found myself staying in the area and in search of a laundromat and this place did not let down one bit! If you're in the Garland area, I couldn't imagine a better place to go to deal with your laundry needs. The store itself is located near several restaurants and bars so if you're looking for an outlet, this place has everything. The washer and dryers are all very well maintained and are pretty much spotless from a cleanliness standpoint. There's tons inside, including an area to buy laundry needs like detergent as well as vending machines and arcade games (including Super Mario my personal favorite from an arcade standpoint). They also have a drop off service that is reasonably priced and professional. Overall, this is hands down one of the best laundromats I've ever been to and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! read more

This place is off the chain!!! (And how often do you say that about a laundromat?!) Seriously, it's uber clean inside, it's not super packed, and the service is PHENOMENAL!!!! I used Wash It Proudly's drop off, or wash and fold, service, for the first time this week. I have an elderly uncle with an incontinence issue. He lives alone, so his laundry adds up. I didn't realize how much soiled laundry he'd amassedabout 120 POUNDS, to be exact! All of which was no match for Señora Rosita She washed, sanitized, dried, folded, and packaged all that laundry like the real pro she is!!!! In less than 48 hours!! I seriously need to make that lady a care package! Ms. Rosa, from the bottom of my heart, and my uncle's too, thank you, thank you, thank you! We are trying to help my uncle maintain his independence and that's a lot easier to do with lovely and thorough services like this!!! read more

Very kind owners and clean machines. Peaceful and quiet laundromat. I have not had any issues here.

I have been to this location several times with a washable 6x8 rug and no one has said a word to me about not being able to use the machines. Today, I walk in and a lady approaches me and says I can't use their machines for my rug. I say I've been here many times and have never had a problem. She starts feeling the rug and then says I can wash but not dry. No thank you. That doesn't make any sense. The tag says washable and I have washed & dried it many times. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I'm staying in a hotel but needed to wash a lot of laundry because I have a large family. I searched yelp for the cleanest laundromat with the highest ratings and came across this one. I drove 25 minutes but was happy to because I'm not into going to nasty places. The reviews were spot on. This place was so clean, there were employees sweeping, wiping down the machines, etc. I was very impressed. The flat screen tv's were on and had a variety of shows playing. There was a children's area and vending machines with drinks and snacks. And to top it off, the washers and dryers did a thorough job of cleaning and drying the clothes. Wash It Proudly (WIP) is a user friendly laundry facility that takes the worry out of going to the laundromat. My apartment has its own washer and dryers, however, after looking at the condition of them, I decided to search online for a better laundry facility. Luckily, I found WIP. The store hours are very convenient, free dryers if you wash there, and there are washers that range from $2.50 up depending on the size and temperature type. Their washers, as well as the entire facility, is nice and clean. There are many walks of life that come through WIP, but I've found them all to be friendly. And none of them have attempted to sell me anything or ask for quarters. I have been asked a few times how to use the machines, but I never mind showing them :) Their employees are super friendly and give a helping hand. They also have a drop off service where you can pick up your laundry at a later time. I've never used this service, but, if I was on a time crunch, I might do so. Free WiFi and coffee are pretty cool too. But even if they didn't have either one, I'd still come here, due to its cleanliness and staff. On Sundays, it gets pretty busy and people start rolling in around 930. Be sure to beat the rush by coming early or coming late on the week days. read more

The place is being continually cleaned. The cost to wash at laundromat has increased tremendously. I only use the service to process my bedding. I like that you don't have to pay to dry your clothes so I guess it balances out the price you pay to wash. Drying takes a while for pillows and comforters. Take reading material because you could be waiting on a dryer for a while. read more

I have been washing clothes here and I have noticed a few things. One being that some of the washing machines that were broken, still remain "out of order" or "not working." Two being that the owner deems it necessary to bring all his kids and/or grandkids to work and turn this from a place of business to daycare. Lastly, the owner's attitude could be a bit more welcoming. He comes off as rude individual who acts as if running this place is an inconvenience to him. If you want to make more money, fix your machines, leave the kids at home, and drop the attitude. read more

I came to Wash It Proudly for the first time on a Saturday morning just before 8am. Immediately I was impressed because the Yelp pictures are a pretty accurate representation of what the facilities look like! I counted 44 washing machines and 44 dryers. The washers range in size from 2-8 loads, and the dryers seem large and extra-large. You can add extra wash or rinse for 50 cents. Dryers are free if you wash. There's WiFi and coin machines, bathrooms, vending machines, and arcade/play area in the back. They even have (free?) coffee and some pastries and offer a drop off service in the front. I came to wash a queen-sized comforter. I used a 6-load washer with extra rinse for $7.25 and the bigger dryer. I probably could have used the 4-load washer for $5.50. For reference, the 2 and 3-load washers start at $2.75 and $3.75, respectively. While I was there, an attendant was cleaning the machines and the overall facility, as well as accepting drop-offs. All the other guests were respectful to the facility and other patrons. Overall I'm very pleased with my experience and will definitely return next time I need to wash my comforter. read more

Not all machines have a card reader. The prices are a little more expensive then other laundromats around. But Super clean and nice.

Last visit came today. I used to like this place - clean, takes cards, and I felt fairly safe (unlike some places). Today I spent ten bucks doing laundry in the machines. When I went to use the ladies room in the middle of the wash cycle, the staff attendant named Clara got in my way and told me I was not allowed. To use the bathroom. As a paying customer. I will look for another clean, card-taking laundromat that will treat me with respect. read more

This place is such so refreshing! Never been in a laundromat this nice. Everything is so clean and they even have an option to pay with card on a couple of machines! And best of all, they offer a free dry after washing. Can't beat that. Literally not a single complaint. Words can't express how much this has been a disappointing experience....$11.00 and 4 loads of clothes later to find out that the dryers are no longer included. At 8:00 after using way more than I thougt for washing, is not a good thing. All my wet clothes are all loaded into my car with no other option on drying them tonight. WOW.... Update: Although the experience from last night was very exhausting, I would like to point out that every visit prior to last night has been exceptional! That is why it was disappointing to feel the opposite. Two things that turned this all the way around, (1) I went back early this morning to dry my clothes, the guy that is there most of the time, greeted me with a smile and as always, more than willing to assist with the smallest thing like holding the door....."how could I even be upset after seeing him always with such a positive and kind demeanour? (2) The owner reached back out to me and also had nothing but kindness and a sincerest apology. I understood why the dryers are being charged so I will be prepared on my next visit to the facility. I haven't met the owner but he seems like he's keeping the consumers in the best interest. It was good while it lasted. I'm just appreciative for it being an option and look forward to continuing my washing needs at this same place. Thank you!!! read more

Had to teach my son a lesson about washing his clothes. $45 later all of his clothes were washed and dried and my clothes too. I don't know if this is a good rate or not since I haven't used laundromat services in many years. Clean facility, plenty of machines, but I could see it being a problem during peak times. Wow, very pleasantly surprised! Probably the cleanest, most modern laundromat I've ever visited! They have plenty of entertainment for kids. Machines of different sizes and loads are plentiful. They look new. Prices are pretty cheap considering dryer is free. For an additional .50 cents you can get extra wash and extra rinse on the machines, which is not readily available at every laundromat. Vending machines available as well. I'm here on a Sunday afternoon and it's not nearly as busy as most other laundromats. I'll be back for sure!! read more

Great staff & facility. Staff is friendly & meets me at my car with a cart to help bring in my laundry. Lots of big washers & plenty of dryers. Weekly I do laundry (clothes, sheets & towels) for 3 peeps & it costs about $11. Really wonderful experience. read more
