I finally got a chance to stop in and pick up a not much needed but very much wanted houseplant, a stunningly gorgeous Satin Pothos! Dru (or is it Drew?) was very friendly, super helpful, and masked! If he doesn't have what you're looking for, just ask. I need some salvias for my fluffy peanuts (hummingbirds) & although he didn't have any available at the moment, Dru was nice enough to say he could get them for the following day! Already making a mental note of what I'm going to buy at Drutopia next time!Support local y'all! Places like Drutopia are community gems we should support instead of nameless/faceless big box store CEOs who definitely don't deserve more of our hard-earned money!

Dunbar Playground

Such a beautiful space curated by a super nice dude! Not only was there a fun variety of plants in many sizes, there was also a fun collection of crystals and minerals! Dru was knowledgable about the plants, and we stopped at the playground afterward with the kiddos! The playground is cute, and full of beautiful art, and only open the the public outside of school hours.

Beautiful succulents from Drutopia!

What a wonderful place owned by a wonderful person! I stopped by to get my first ever plant. The owner is super kind and has so many beautiful plants and cool rocks. He asked me about where I'd put it, if it'd get morning or afternoon light, and then went about putting together a pot of 4 beautiful succulents for me. Definitely check out this business if you're looking for any plants or cool rocks!

Sweet basil and 2 mint plants

Drutopia was amazing. I walked in and the owner quickly helped me. I told him I was looking for herbs and he helped me pick out two types of mint and a sweet basil. The owner was so kind and helpful! This was my first plant purchase and I'm glad I made it here. He even showed me how to take care of my basil, which was great because I've never had a basil plant. There was so many other amazing plants there too and a cute cat walking around. I got all 3 of my plants for $18! If you're looking for a new local plant place to check out definitely check out Drutopia and on Instagram @dru_topia.

An awesome spot for plant lovers. Can't wait to see what's in store in the spring. Would highly recommend this hole in the wall spot.

At the end, Dru thanked me, shook my hand again, and asked if he could take a photo of me with my plants.

The staff was friendly and responsive, and happy to help while I was looking around. One of the highlights was definitely the koi ponds--they were really cool to watch, and spotting the turtle hanging out with the koi was an unexpected bonus. They also have a nice variety of pots and plant accessories, so it's easy to find everything you need in one stop. Great plants, great atmosphere, and even some entertaining aquatic roommates. Definitely worth a visit!

We randomly stumbled onto this store while on a day trip down to Tucson. The "Weird Plants" sign…read morethey had on the sidewalk in front of their store drew us in, it was a last minute decision to pull in and check it out on the way to our actual destination. I am glad we stopped in! They had a fantastic selection of plants along with a wide variety of needs like soils, grow lights, pots and more. The prices were great as well, both my mother and I ended up buying several plants and my mom even had a few planted in store as they had a deal where if you bought a plant & a pot, they would repot the plant into the pot for you. They also sold Koi fish in different sizes for anyone looking to start a pond in their yard. We live up in Phoenix, but this store would be worth the drive to go down and visit to pick up some more plants when we are looking for them. Our plants made it back on the trip perfectly fine & they still look fantastic. I can't wait to see their growth, and I will be trying out an indoor plant fertilizer I bought at Ecogro to help some of my other indoor plants flourish as well. If you are a plant lover, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

The selection will knock your socks off! Bring water and an umbrella. I will be back with my credit card! Well worth every penny and I had many left over. No puedo decir suficientes palabras amables sobre este negocio y todo el personal! He visitado varias veces e incluso he traído a la familia para disfrutar de un día de tranquilidad. Verdaderamente agradecido.

I wasn't even shopping for outdoor plants, but it was clear they have a huge variety if you are. It's the kind of place where you walk past section after section and keep thinking, "Oh wow... they have that too?" They also have a great selection of pots, so it's dangerously easy to convince yourself you need "just one more plant" because you already found the perfect pot for it. Definitely a fun place to explore if you love plants... or if you accidentally keep becoming a plant person.
