We were so very iimpressed with the quality of work and guidance we received from Kevin, Doug, Rodrigo and the rest of the Acacia crew. The were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and incredibly hard working. They made the difficult appear easy. The team work amongst the crew was also excellent and noticeable. They know what they are doing. We look forward to doing more business with Acacia Nursery. These guys really knocked it out of the park.

What a great find! This nursery is located off Tangerine Rd. in Marana. It's tucked back a bit from the road so be prepared or you might miss it! They have a great variety of plants and friendly experienced staff to help with any questions you may have. They were very knowledgeable and even helped identify plants we needed from a photo on our phone. The pricing is reasonable and pretty comparable to what you would find at large stores (Lowes, Home depot etc). But the best part of this place is the atmosphere. They have everything covered in shaded screens and the butterflies and birds are all over. Such a pleasant experience! I'll definitely be back!

I had questions about saguaros and this place caught my eye. It's off of Tangerine and has a great selection. I was immediately greeted by Malinda one of the owners. She's so friendly and helpful in figuring out what your needs are. I also got to meet her husband Doug and Diesel the Frenchie. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do.

12 foot Ocotillo I purchased
Lynnette P.

I recently bought an ocotillo from Acacia Nursery. Pete, the manager, was extremely helpful. I told him I wanted the biggest one he had and he went out of his way to make sure I got it - a huge 12 foot plant at a very reasonable price. Two knowledgeable and friendly employees came out and planted the ocotillo at my home. I am very happy with it.

There are a lot of things that make this nursery special: 1. Jeff is truly a succulent expert--he spent several years in the botany department at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum where he was responsible for a lot of beautiful planters and gardens. 2. Jeff grows all of his plants from seeds, outside, so you can be confident that anything you purchase will be successful in the Tucson climate. 3. Jeff has a great eye for color and shape. He builds his inventory by journeying around the Southwestern US in AZ and CA. He has a beautifully curated selection of plants that are arid-adapted and won't over-burden the water supply. 4. Jeff takes the time to teach you how to care for your new plant. You can trust his advice! I'm normally a plant killer, but thanks to Jeff I've kept a pot of bushop's caps alive for six months now. This is unprecedented! I recommend this nursery to people looking for a few potted succulents, as well as those looking to landscape their yard in true Southwestern fashion.

Short drive on a dirt rd reminds me of living out in the area in early 70s when thornydale was a dirt rd & the eagles & country rock ruled . Nostalgia aside it's worth the drive on sat am's ( 8 am -?) this large wholesale nursery is open to the public only sat am . Like worth the drive it's worth the wait to visit Desert Trees with a huge variety of low water , desert tolerant plants , cacti , & trees . I called during the week to order my specific plant (s) & color (s) with Sandy . Arrived on sat & order was ready yet welcomed to look around for more. Tony was also very helpful wearing a gaitor mask . ( FYI very quiet not like waiting in crowded lines in box box stores nurseries).I saw a unique purple blooming " Texas ranger although they were not PC historically) it was called a convent rare & would be great planted or in a pot . Sandy said they have 5 different types of the same plant ! If you want unique it's available there . No fancy yard art just great selection & great prices . It was a fun educational adventure to re visit a local 40+ year old tucson treasure Desert Trees. You may want to use your gos app for directions .
