Back again for another cactus. This must be my 5th time buying from them. As always, this is likely the best place to buy cactus anywhere in the desert Southwest. The personal attention you get and knowledge level of the staff here is unmatched. 10/10

Two words: GOD SENT. Love this place. I was enjoying a morning walk with my son when we decided to check this place out. We were accompanied by staff the entire time and they were explaining and showing each plant to my son who is a first grader. He was really fascinated and it really meant a lot to me. I mean it's summer and schools out, what better way to keep 'em busy than go on an adventure outside and learn about plants. They really have a wide selection of cacti and succulents, I was in love! They have a ton of medicinal aloe they're trying to get rid of and it's on sale for super cheap right now so stop on by and remember to get some of those. I bought a couple myself and I'm so proud of em. Thank you Old Pueblo!!!

They had such a beautiful selection of cacti and succulents. They were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Check them out. You will not be sorry.

Best experience - friendly helpful staff helped me pick the perfect cacti to landscape my front yard. The plants I bought were robust and I felt I got a great deal. I would highly recommend everyone shop here. It's the best!

What a great place to buy cacti and desert plants. The prices are really reasonable and choice of cacti is huge. The staff had all the answers to our questions and were super friendly. They put ribbons around each plant we bought to indicate the direction they should face to thrive. Can't wait to go back and get more plants.

If you are going to buy cacti for landscaping, then this is the place to start looking. The varieties of the sticky plants are more varied in size, price and type than any other place I have seen. These people know about cacti. They claim to have a high success rate with large saguaros. The prices are better than any other nursery in town.

My family and I stopped here today on our way out of town. What a great experience. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about every single plant and item they sold along with if those items would grow well in California. We ended up leaving with seven different plants for quite a reasonable amount. Thank you.

The selection will knock your socks off! Bring water and an umbrella. I will be back with my credit card! Well worth every penny and I had many left over. No puedo decir suficientes palabras amables sobre este negocio y todo el personal! He visitado varias veces e incluso he traído a la familia para disfrutar de un día de tranquilidad. Verdaderamente agradecido.

Green Things Nursery is a plant lover's dream. The selection is amazing. I went in mainly to look…read moreat houseplants and was really impressed by the wide range of sizes--everything from small starter plants to some seriously impressive extra-large ones that could probably become a full roommate. I wasn't even shopping for outdoor plants, but it was clear they have a huge variety if you are. It's the kind of place where you walk past section after section and keep thinking, "Oh wow... they have that too?" They also have a great selection of pots, so it's dangerously easy to convince yourself you need "just one more plant" because you already found the perfect pot for it. Definitely a fun place to explore if you love plants... or if you accidentally keep becoming a plant person.

I saw many things that are on my list to procure on a day when I can talk with someone. Friendly, but not pushy employees give you storage to browse. No prices to be seen, which is a detractor from shopping within ones budget. At least, I didn't see any? The nursery has a hippie layout ( don't expect ordered aisles ) and lots of funky touches (Buddha's, crystals, & more). Their on list of where to find local plantings.

(Walk around to the front, facing the street, to get in.) Dru seemed very friendly and easy-going. He greeted me when I walked in, introduced himself with a handshake, and encouraged me to wander around to whichever parts of the area pulled me to them. It was a lovely place to wander up and down the aisles and between the plantings. It's mostly outdoors, but didn't feel overwhelmingly warm because there was plenty of shade, mostly in the form of trees and bushes. I felt like I could have quite happily brought a book, found a comfy spot in the shade, and enjoyed a peaceful afternoon surrounded by desert-friendly plants. Beyond the great atmosphere and welcoming vibe, I very much enjoyed seeing the propagations Dru had going, as well as the variety of cactus and other succulents, and even a few tropical houseplants. I had gone to pick up a water-wise plant to fill in a hanging basket, and ended up with three happy, healthy-looking jelly bean sedums, as well as a store credit to give as a birthday gift for a relative who hasn't been to Drutopia before and would LOVE it. Once I have the sedums planted and out in the sun, they should fill in the basket nicely, hanging over the edges and turning red in the sunshine. At the end, Dru thanked me, shook my hand again, and asked if he could take a photo of me with my plants. (He has a lot of fun photos of customers on his Instagram, so I'm assuming it was for that.) All in all a wonderful experience, and a shop I will definitely visit next time I'm in the area. Tip: Some plants are priced, but others are not. If you're not sure, ask Dru and he'll let you know.
