This boil was so good that I didn't even have time to take a picture of it before my partner and I devoured it. This place is great. The hibachi looks promising and it did not disappoint. Def coming back for the seafood boil. Great portion too. The yelp delivery was also fast. We got the fried jumbo shrimp and hibachi meals. Crispy shrimp, and so big. The hibachi was great on the portion and rice was so goood. Shrimp was fresh, steak was good. Recommend. While I understand this was a no contact delivery, the delivery person left my order in front of the apartment of the steps and did not alert me of this. I ended up wondering why my food hadn't arrived and my friend opened the door and saw it on the steps. This was at 7:31PM and when I checked the app to see if maybe I missed the delivery alert, it said my estimated delivery was 7:40PM-8:00PM. Hours later it updated and said it was delivered at 7:29PM. The food was okay but the delivery method was absolutely unacceptable. I can't enjoy my food knowing it was placed on the ground unattended. Great mom and pop place!! Found this spot through the northern liberties Facebook page and thought I'd give it a try. The hibachi is great!! The yum yum sauce it comes with is a great accompaniment. The fried rice is spot on! So light and fluffy and tastes perfect. We also got the hibachi wings and they were nice and grilled and well sauced. This is a great carry out spot for a weeknight dinner. Oh my GOD! My boyfriend and I ordered the #10 combo with garlic butter for Valentine's day and it was SO delicious! These guys were also super accommodating and allowed us to switch out the shrimp for crawfish. The crab legs and mussels were our favorites and I don't even usually like mussels. Keep in mind that you're getting a boil (everything is thrown in a bag with seasoning and cooked together) so the more delicate seafood like lobster will be pretty thoroughly cooked. It's also quite messy so this probably isn't a great first date meal. If you're eating alone or with someone that you can eat like a savage in front of, I highly recommend this place! Pro tip: use the bottom of a clean frying pan or metal mixing bowl to smash the king crab legs for easier/less spikey eating. read more
