Went here for first time since it changed hands and really enjoyed it. Nice local little bar with very good food. Fish'n'chips was really good, make sure you're hungry if you do the large portion. My wife had the Prime rib and thoroughly enjoyed it too. This could well be our new Pinehurst local! read more

Came here on a lazy Sunday afternoon, place was about 3/4 full. Service was very friendly and attentive. Forget what sandwich I had; think it was their "specialty"...whatever it was, it was good (sorry for not being specific...it's been a couple of months). Stopped for lunch after arriving in Pinehurst. Hubby and I enjoyed our lunch sitting outside people watching. My black bean and corn soup was very good as was hubby's clam chowder. Been here twice in two weeks. We are new in town and found this place last Tuesday. Thy were running their "Taco Tuesday" special. Super good. We came back this Tuesday for more. All of their tacos are delicious (disclaimer: we didn't try the veggie taco). Friendly service. Kid friendly. Will make this place a regular for the family and for guests who visit us from out of town. I would recommend this to anyone who lives here or is visiting. The prices are great as well. Love this place! Like our own version of "Cheers" right here in Pinehurst. I have met friends here for drinks and dinner and plan to keep coming back for more. The crowd is a nice mix of locals and out of towners. The food was delicious and a nice change from the usual. Its the only place in town I've found current enough to have a Moscow Mule on the drink list. The patio is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the bar atmosphere while being outside in the center of downtown Pinehurst. My new favorite place to go! read more

Came into DQ after a round of golf at Southern Pines. We got off the course around 2:30 so it was tough to find lunch after that time in the Village. We sat at the bar at DQ and chatted with the woman bartender. We started with the DQ salad and she recommended the Italian Naan-za. The salad was great and large enough to be an entree. The green peppercorn dressing was amazing and all the produce was very fresh. The naan-za was pretty good as well. The bartender was very warm and offered is some great additional shopping and dining recommendations. I'll definitely go back to DQ! read more

Met some friends for a drink and some burgers like the atmosphere nice bar, waitress was a little slow no big deal but did take 20 min to get first drink but the mixed drink was good so overlooked the time it took, we all ordered burgers and they had a nice selection two of us ordered homemade pimento cheese mine was ordered medium came out medium well tasted grilled but was just too over cooked I refused to say anything but the gentleman who had invited me spoke up and the waitress that brought our food (not our waitress) kindly took it back to have re-cooked however there was a couple of ants that decided to walk across my plate and ruined my dinner (yes we were inside) we mentioned it to the waitress since I ended up not eating and all she said was I will mention it to the manager then she took the bill and we paid and left no manger came by nothing... I don't think that is the way to handle a issue especially one that is brought to your attention and it wasn't a petty one.. this is a safety issue bugs and food are not a good mix... read more

The food was ok, my beef tacos were tasty but the meat was lukewarm. That is probably because the food took forever to come out, 45 min-1 hour for two taco orders and chicken strip basket. Atmosphere seemed cool and seems like a good place to watch some golf or a game. read more

My wife ordered the fish tacos and the corn tortillas were as stale as any I've ever tasted. The mahi mahi fish was dry. And finally, she ordered chips with her meal and never got them. The food is good but the service is atrocious. I order a salad with green peppercorn which was delicious. I tried to order more so my friends could dip their chips but no one ever came back to the table so I asked another server...she forgot but eventually brought a little cup out with no apology and it was the wrong dressing. My waitress finally came back and claimed I was wrong and that was the same dressing I had on my salad even though it was a different color and tasted nothing like the original.
