Wow! I was highly impressed with their croissants. Berry and Dubai. They were a little expensive but worth every bite. Every single table was full with people enjoying matcha and lattes and what I later learned was Turkish coffee. You'll see in my video we had no idea how to drink it but it was so pretty and delicious. I had the crème brûlée latte with a toasted marshmallow. It never slowed down, there was a line out the door the whole time I was there. The decor was cool, beautiful lights everywhere on the ceiling. I wish it was bigger in there. But if you're patient, you'll get a seat.

I came here with a friend and it was super busy! The staff were super friendly and I love the ambience inside. We got three pastries and two drinks which were delicious. It was a bit pricier than we expected but definitely worth trying!

I think maybe I was cranky about the wait when I rated this 4 stars because it has become my new go to on the west side and is *definitely * 5 stars. The pistachio latte is my favorite in town- especially when I get a little piece of pistachio. Yum! Ive been trying the croissants as well recently. Amazing and delicious! Service is always kind and quick. It is a bit expensive though. Usually with a latte, croissant, and a tip it sits about $20. Everything tastes high quality though so I guess you get what you pay for!

I love the space and atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating now for the summer. The service is pretty good, they are always super busy. The food and desserts are very good but are on the pricey side. Definitely a fun sweet treat. I have come three times now one for to-go and twice sit down. The most recent time was ok, the lates we ordered were cold and the ice coffee I got was too sweet and watered down. However the other experiences were good. Still happy to support my Arab community, would recommend to try.

Very different and interesting cafe experience at Drop Cafe! They are still new in town so still working on some kinks in their operations. So, understandably, the wait can be on a longer side. That said, they had very unique offerrings and some great pastries for everyone to try. There were somewhat limited seatings, especially if you stop by during their busy time (seem to be almost all days these days when they just opened and had gotten a much deserved visibility from the community!). Check out this new cafe! It's a different place that you can enjoy a cup of interesting drink + a beautiful piece of pastry!

The atmosphere of this coffee shop is great. Love the traditional Persian/Yemeni touches in the space. The price was pretty decent, and the food and drinks were all great! We especially loved the Adeni, and not pictured was the Karak latte. The date rings were exceptional, not too sweet and a unique blend of sweet and slightly savory. Very filling as well. Our only recommendation would be to include some descriptions of the traditional drinks, as we had to ask a number of questions about what each one was. Printed menus (even just a couple as posters) would help too, as the menu on the screen changes really fast. Service was fast, and the group of teens working had a happy, energetic demeanor. Really liked it!

Visited here for the first time. I'd been seeing this place on social media and wanted to give it a try. Took my family in on an afternoon. We were all determined to try the Dubai croissant and brownie. I'm definitely a fan of Dubai chocolate. Located in a mini shopping mall with plenty of parking around. The storefront looks inviting and it surely was. There was a line when we arrived, but thankfully we were able to get a seat in the cafe. So that we can enjoy ourselves. They even offer outdoor seating with heaters. So many different drink items to choose from. And their pastries looked so amazing. We opted for both the Dubai croissant and brownie. We also got the Strawberry, Nutella and the Biscoff Matcha. They were so good! The Dubai croissant had so many strawberries in it. And that Dubai brownie was a tasty treat. This cafe had such a vibe, the staff was very friendly. The food was pretty good and the drinks were delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu. This place is definitely a must try! You will not be dissapointed.

Yum! I've been wanting to come here after seeing all the posts in the foodie group about it (and I'm also a big Dubai chocolate fan). I was worried it was going to be busy this morning (since it was a Saturday morning) and that they're still in their soft opening phase. They still had plenty of Dubai croissants and for $10 for those, it was a large tasty croissant. Staff was friendly/helpful and the owner stopped by every table to make sure customers were taken care of. The decor inside is pretty and a lot of people sat outside since it's small on the inside. They have a wide selection of treats and coffee, matcha, and mojitos. My friend got the pistachio latter, which was good but I was happy with my salted pumpkin pie latte. We went Christmas Eve, they were busy but still feel like we didn't wait that long for our drinks. Service was friendly and very helpful with menu suggestions and advice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating! They had heat lamps outside too so it was very pleasant to be outside and our toddler could run around. My husband got the Nutella Matcha iced and Dubai croissant. I got the baklava latte iced and the Bee bites. I tried a sip of the Nutella matcha it was good and the Dubai croissant was worth all the hype I stole a few bites. My baklava latte was perfectly balanced not too sweet, just right! The Bee bites were good, not sure I loved it though I'd like to dry something else next time. Overall highly recommend!

I wish I could try every item they offer, especially their pastries! Oh my gosh. I got a biscoff latte with oat milk and it was delicious. The bee bread was also so so good! Everyone there was so nice and helpful. It was a little on the louder side in there so I'd say bring headphones if you're planning to work. It was, however, very clean. Two bathrooms available. They also had a few outdoor tables. I'd go back if I'm in town!

My wife and I went here for a coffee date after dropping our son off at school. Place was roomy with some nice displays of pastries you can buy. I went with the Chantelle croissant and the apple cinnamon roll. Now for the coffee my wife went with the sugar free tiramisu latte while I got the banana bread latte. Mine was a bit strange because as I drank it the coffee felt grainy like grounds had gotten into it. I realized about a 1/3 of the way though that there were chunks of banana bread in it. Once i made this discovery I enjoyed my coffee much more. At the end it was almost like a runny coffee bread pudding. That was surprisingly pleasant. My wife said her latte unfortunately tasted like, well... like coffee ‍. The pastries were rich but not too sweet. We also got a plain croissant and I think we both enjoyed that one the most. Buttery, fluffy, and just down right delicious. I dipped that sucker in my banana bread latte to my resounding delight! It was fun and we'd probably go back to show a friend or for the pastries. read more

If you don't have a big sweet tooth don't come here lol all pastries and coffee is very sweet. The place is beautiful but always very packed and it's hard to get a seat. The staff is friendly. But make sure when getting your drinks ask for an extra shot and or half sweet if you want it to taste like actual coffee hahaha read more

We decided to visit Drop Café for the first time, and it was extremely disappointing. I ordered the crème brûlée coffee, and it tasted like nothing more than plain coffee with milk. There was absolutely nothing about it that resembled crème brûlée, no rich flavor, no caramelized sweetness, nothing special at all. I also ordered the Dubai cheesecake. It was simply a basic cheesecake topped with "Dubai" crumbles, a drizzle of chocolate, and a strawberry. There was nothing unique or elevated about it. It felt like an ordinary dessert dressed up with a fancy name. We also ordered the Dubai croissant, which was just as underwhelming. The croissant tasted old, hard, and far from fresh. For a place charging premium prices, freshness should be the bare minimum. Needless to say, this place is very expensive for what you get. Spending $20 on a coffee and a slice of cheesecake that are both completely average is not worth it. You're honestly better off spending your money at Starbucks, Piñon, or another local business that delivers better quality and value. We were truly disappointed and will not be returning. read more

The line was out the door on a Sunday at 11. Definitely a good sign. Inside it was so pretty and welcoming. It was a 30 minute wait in line but if you have the time,totally worth it! The list of lattes was so hard to choose from, too many good flavors. The food looks beautiful too! I had a delicious Nutella latte, and took home some of the cheesecake. I can't wait to try. This place has so much potential. I think as soon as it works out all the kinks of being a new business. It took 45 minutes to get two things to go. Such a wonderful addition to Albuquerque, more specifically NW Albuquerque! The atmosphere is something never seen before with cozy decor with well thought out details. The customer service is a breath of fresh air and the drinks were AMAZING. I had the pistachio latte and my mom had the Drop latte with an almond filled pastry. Very impressive start for this cafe! Loved the ambiance. The coffees were delicious, beautiful, and felt special and like a treat. All the staff were so kind and looked like they were having fun while working and not stressed by the long line, which was amazing to see and feel the energy and the sense of community in the room. Absolutely delicious, I'm very picky with matcha taste and coffee and both were amazing. I'm not sure how anyone can rate them under 5 starts due to wait time as it is a brand new spot and the line has been crazy due to their items being amazing. We also had the dubai croissant, dragon fruit tea, oatmilk brown shaken espresso, Spanish latte, and crumble latte and everything was 10/10. read more

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Antiquity doesn't simply serve dinner, it creates an experience. Again, absolutely nothing wrong with it - cooked well, quality cut, etc. - but I've had more memorable steaks at High Noon Saloon. *shrug* Highlight: The servers were exceptional. Lowlight: The sconce / light fixture over our table was in need of a dusting. Overall: A lovely evening to toast my guy's significant professional achievement. The PASTRIES 10/10, COFFEE IS AMAZING, and although it depends on the worker making it, the matcha is great when made right! It has been popular on social media so expect a line. One thing i have noticed is that the food/drink wait isn't long at all, it's waiting to take your order... SOMETIMES (legit sometimes not everytime) the person who SHOULD be on POS is never there or is constantly walking to the back for 5 mins in between customers, this kinda makes the wait even longer.
