I recently went to Driver's Edge for an oil change/tire rotation as it is close to my house, and made the mistake of telling them that I hadn't done any 100k mile maintenance on my car. They came back to me with over $2,500 of services they wanted me to agree to. I took my car to a trusted auto shop where I only paid $425 for the three things my car actually needed replaced/serviced. I felt like Driver's Edge tried to take advantage of me being a young woman. OK...the work was done, it is believed, tho the spark plugs are NOT the same kind. My Toyota mechanic said that the work done was not considered regular maintenance. Came in for a wheel alignment on my 2017 Nissan Titan because my dealership said my truck was a bit off. Decided to visit service pros and have them do my alignment instead. Bobby the service advisor was a cool dude and after they checked out my truck he let me know my alignment was perfect and the dealership was just trying to get more money from me. Went in to have my front struts replaced and front end alignment. Price seemed a little high but they could get it done that day. They did a good job on that so that's why I gave them two stars. The problem: after I got my car back I had a check engine light that wasn't on before. Had to drop off my car again for about three hours. Got a call saying the light was for my mass airflow sensor and I needed a software upgrade from Nissan that would cost $200 and maybe a new sensor for another $300. (I replaced it myself 18 months earlier for less than a $100) My car is 8 years old and always ran fine so I did not see why all of a sudden I need an upgrade. I took the car home, cleaned the sensor and drove for a few days and the light went out and no more problems. read more

Called to get a quote for the alignment at 4:00 and spoke to Bobby. We drove the 20 minutes here immediately. When my husband and I got here we were told there isn't time (even though on the phone we were told it could be done today). The manager Bobby was extremely rude and had horrible customer service. He continued to say I had customers come in and we can't do it. Then I asked to speak to the manager and he said he is the manager. He told me I could call Monday and was VERY rude and speak to the owner but it wouldn't change anything. He then HUNG up on me. I wouldn't advise anyone going here. I went to get an oil change and the guy told me I needed to get an alignment. I tried to schedule another time to get it done and he was being passive aggressive in sarcasm with the intent to make me pay more than what I planned to pay for the visit. He was not attentive at all in providing quality costumer service with no eye contact. Very unprofessional and was not following CDC guidelines in wearing a mask. He was also coughing behind the counter during my visit. Found a place called Discount Auto air and got it done immediately, no headaches, no hassels and didn't feel taken advantage of. I haven't been this disappointed in years when it comes to the service I received from this repair shop! I wish I could put one half of a star! I brought my car in and allowed them to take their time and have it for two days. The repairs were over $1000. I picked it up and the very next day the car was having the same issues. So I took it back in, and they had a driver take me to work. At the end of the day a driver brought the car to my job, and gave me the key. I was less than a block from my job and the car was driving twice as worst as it did before the repairs were done. The gentleman that dropped it off even asked me did I allow them to repair it at all. I had to turn on my flashers and get on the service road because I couldn't drive more than 30 miles an hour for fear the car would fall apart on the highway. When I called them I was told, "Oh that was some other damage that will cost about $800.00" I was not able to drive the car at all AFTER I got it back the second time. I had to actually have it towed to another repair shop! ...not sure why the review shows San Diego. This was definitely in Arlington! read more

I first brought my mercedes into Service Pros for a cabin air filter change and was told it would only take 15 minutes. It ended up taking over an hour! For an air filter! I then decided to give them another shot and get an oil change. Again, it took much longer than I was told. The wife of the owner gave me a discount for the extremely long wait, however when I got home both my service A and service B lights had turned on. So I had to go back up there and wait another 30 minutes just for them to reset it. The owner told me they had 7 certified Mercedes technicians working up there yet they couldn't even figure that out. I spoke with the owner about an alignment on my wife's mercedes and he quoted me $149.99 for the alignment and also said that I could use the 10% off coupon that I received at discount tire. When I went up there for the alignment (this was their last chance), he said it was $199.99 for the alignment and then brought up that his wife gave me too much of a discount on the oil change, but he would do the alignment for the price he first quoted me. When we came to pick up her car, he then told me that they usually charge $250 for a mercedes alignment. I said "you've given me 3 different prices now for the alignment". He also started to say that they have high prices because they have a 3 year warranty. I actually thought this was getting funny because he kept spewing bs and said "you do a 3 year warranty on alignments?". Of course they don't. No one warranties alignment and they shouldn't. What if my wife hit a curb on the way out? Car would need another alignment. He then said they don't accept the coupon for the alignment. At that point I had to let my wife finish paying because the owner was going back and forth on what I was told. When I was waiting for her outside she told me he said " your husband got a big discount on an oil change." It was like he was bitter because his wife gave me a discount for an oil change. Don't let the owner try to talk up their warranty. They lost the business of 2 Mercedes owners because the owner is a jerk. I would never bring any car up here again and recommend you to go somewhere else. read more

I called Service Pros 2 weeks ago after I was in a car accident. My radiator needed to be replaced along with my hood, headlight, and fender. I bought those parts and threw them in my car and they towed my car to their shop. Well I thought it was towed to their shop till I drove over there after shop hours and saw that my car was put out in the Aldi Grocery Shop parking lot. Bad enough that it was put there where Aldi could have had it removed or the police mark it as abandoned and have it towed or broken into and vandalized. They didn't even bother to lock up my car. Don't trust them with your car!!! Before I wrap up this review, I thought it was strange that I was told to not contact the shop directly but to text or call one of the employees only. They did a GREAT job repairing my door handle, but another company had accidentally ripped off the door handle while servicing my car, and after days of arguing, and blasting the company on Twitter, I finally got the promise that this company would pay for the door handle replacement. It took nearly two weeks for the part to come in, and when I arrived to pick up the car the manager of Service Pro asked to speak to me privately and asked me if I would "do him a favor" and post positive things on Twitter. What a jerk. I felt absolutely bullied. I am a woman, not sure they would do this to a man If that's not enough to keep you from Service Pro Auto Center, the jacked up high prices should help! Exceptional Service and Customer Care! I had a small problem that my truck's headlight bulb was out about a week ago. I had only 30 minutes before my daughter's volleyball practice...never used Service Pros, and just drove by and decided to give a try. Bruce greeted me, and got on it right away. I only came to here for tire alignment was because of Costco's referral. My car has running perfectly and I just got four new tires at Costco. I thought it would be a good idea to do an alignment immediately after that. I asked and Costco recommended this place. Bruce took the appointment call. He was professional and told me that they could do the job immediately after my arrival. Bruce put my information in the computer, which was 20 minutes of my arrival--they worked casually. It took them another 8.02 minutes to start the service (I used iPhone Stopwatch to time every phase). The service time was 1:06:12 (1 hr 6 minutes and 12 seconds). Bobby, another frontman, told me the cost was $99.99. I reminded him that Bruce quoted $89.99 over the phone. After Bruce confirmed that I produced Costco's 15% discount coupon. At that moment Bruce told me regularly they would charge the work for $180 instead. He also informed me that I should showed him the Costco discount before they calculated the fee. But he will "honor" the discount. Bruce tried to sell me "warranties" of 6-month/12-month for $86+ /$120+. I was not sure why should I buy any warranty for an alignment work. So I declined. I took my car for a alignment drive test in a near by shopping area's parking lot (roads are not good places for that purpose due the rain water grading). It was not better than when I took my car in. Nevertheless, I could tell more from the tire marks after about 5000 miles. I'm surprised that Costco referred me to the place. If Bruce explained that his coworker didn't know his quoted price instead of telling me he did a favor by quoting just half what they would normally charged I would accept the explanation and give them a much better rating. They showed that they would try not to honor their quote unless were caught, tried to sell something which has no value to the people who know not enough. Don't go to this place. I took my vehicle to them six months ago to have any alignment completed. Today I look at the tires and the wear is still uneven. The day I picked up my car there was dirt and oil stains on the car seat. The wheel was still off balance and the car was still pulling to one side but since they provided my with a paperwork showing they completed the alignment and I trusted the mechanics did the proper work. Bruce is pretty awesome! After having a bad experience at the dealership and not wanting to pay extra for the crappy dealership service, I was recommend to ServicePro. I called ahead and talked to Bruce, and when I walked in he immediately recognized me. The office had a very homey vibe to it and can tell that the owner spent a lot of time decorating it. Once I got checked in, they were able to service my car immediately, in and out in about 30 min (which is pretty awesome considering EVERYONE wants to get their car serviced today). Had the most amazing experience at Service Pros on Saturday, 19 Jan 19. Went in on Costco recommendation due to check engine light. I was expecting the worst. Was cordially greeted by Bruce who professionally took down my information and quickly had his team get to work on my car. After the diagnosis, I was informed, not only of the problem, but with a print out of the extension of the manufacturer warranty information to get the issue repaired for free. He also pointed out that I had two tires with nails in them which he would gladly fix for free. So I'm already very impressed. He went on to show me a leak in my transmission which he pointed out that was covered by my manufacturer warranty and could be fixed for free. More awesomeness. To top it off, he pointed out that the last time I had my oil changed, about a hundred miles ago, they did not replace the seal around the drain plug so I had a small leak there, too. Something for me to think about the next time I had an oil change. Unbelievable service! I went ahead with the maintenance that the dealership had previously recommended (at a much lower price), had my tires rotated, and got the alignment the dealership also recommended. I also received a 15% discount on top. Needless to say, I will gladly drive 23 miles to continue doing business with these honest and reputable professionals. In fact, they will even pick up my car, perform the work, and bring it back when finished. How's that for customer service. First rate! read more

BEWARE of this company! Service "Pros" are smiling CROOKS! Especially the owner! I have never written a review before, but after my experience with Service "Pros", I felt compelled to warn potential customers about this auto shop. I paid this company $475 for NOTHING. They never repaired my brake problem. I ended up going to the Lexus dealership for the brake repair. Might as well, because Service "Pros" were trying to charge me approximately the same price to fix my Lexus using "After Market Parts!" This company charged me $475 to fix a problem with my brakes... that they DID NOT FIX!! I left with the same brake problem I came in with....Service "Pros" only made the problem with my brakes worse; the brakes are now making a hissing sound every time I press down on the pedal. I brought my car in at 8 a.m. and they did not have it ready for pick up until 6:00 p.m. (closing time). Bruce, the owner, then tells me that his technician was not completely satisfied with how my brakes were operating. It wasn't until after a few seconds of driving my car that I understood why.....I get in my car, drive off the premises and the brakes are doing the exact same thing as when I brought them in to be repaired. I was sorely disappointed and felt like I had been taken advantage of by this company. Bruce and Robert confirmed that the technician did a test drive in my car. They had to know that my brakes were still not repaired and that they were now making a hissing noise. One of the technicians even left an AutoZone bag and receipt in my car. The next business day, I took my car back to Service "Pros" and told them that the brake problem has not been repaired. They take a look at my car again and then tell me the problem is something else called the Brake Booster. The price for this repair will be an additional charge of $1,152. Robert (to make me think I was getting a better deal with Service "Pros") told me how much more costly it would be to let the dealership do the repairs. I contacted the Lexus dealership for myself and as it turns out, Service "Pros" was charging me the approximate same price as the Lexus dealership. They are not trustworthy and I think they tried to take advantage of me as a female customer. I told them that I have lost good faith in them and their work and that I will not let them do any further repairs on my car. I asked for a reimbursement of what I paid because they did not fix/repair the brake problem. Robert says to me, "Well we fixed something." You didn't fix what I came here to have repaired.They flat out said that they would not reimburse me anything. In spite of the fact in knowing that they did not fix my brakes. They have lost would could have been a loyal customer! I will never step into their place of business again. read more

As a college student going to UTA from Houston I did not know where to go when my car started having problems. To begin, back in August there was an issue with my alarm which would engine shut down my car and would cause my car to not start. As a woman I do not know much about cars so when I searches around I found Service Pros and they were able to fix my car that day! They were very kind and sweet to me and Robert made sure to answer any questions I had at the time. Fast forwards a few months to Halloween day, (last Tuesday) it was raining, I got into a car accident. I went straight to them and had them tell me what parts I needed to get in order to get my car fixed for an affordable, and reasonable price with a college budget. Bruce made sure he answered all my questions and made sure to tell me his exact plans on what he knew he could do with fixing my car. Once I bought my parts and was informed of how much installment would be decided to wait until I had the money to pay for it. I went to pick up my parts from their shop & when I told them my decision they told me that they would take care of me for a lower price. Told me it would be ready by the end of the day and it is perfect! I have no complaints about the car. It is as great as it could have been without me having to spend a huge penny. I will say that I have never trusted a work shop more with my car in my life, and I will definitely refer them to anyone and keep coming to Service Pros for all my car needs! read more

Wow! My daughter and son in laws car wouldn't start so they had it towed to this shop. They were told it needed a battery, a starter and an oil change and the price would be $800 bucks! IF they decided NOT to have them fix it then they would be charged $140 for a diagnostic fee. I'm pretty positive they never even hooked it up to the computer in the first place. I run an automotive shop in a different state so I know what parts costs but just in case, I called the local parts store (in their area). The starter was $133 bucks and I'm positive the battery was just fine so throw in the oil change and you're honestly gonna tell me its gonna cost $800 bucks?!? I don't think so. I don't believe in ripping people off and that's CLEARLY what this shop is doing. Had I have been there, I would have asked for the diagnostic printout that you charged me $140 bucks for and then told you that I was gonna leave honest reviews all over the internet and whoever would listen, that yall are seriously ripping people off, and marking up the parts by at least 300%. Called first thing in the morning to inquire about the cost of a tune up prior to making a 10- hour drive. Rather than shooting out costs, I was advised to go to the shop and receive a FREE performance inspection and at that time it would be determined whether or not I would need a tune up. When I arrive over an hour later, somehow, they knew I was the person who called before I even said what I was there for. Got my inspection, walked out paying only $102 dollars for a belt and advice on when I need to service my vehicle to keep it well maintained, along with advice on where to stop during my road trip. The staff was very friendly and personable. Oh...and the bathrooms...MOST AMAZINGLY CLEAN restrooms I've experienced in forever! Thank you for that, especially while waiting for my vehicle! read more
