I just had the best auto service experience with these guys! I'm really thankful for finding then!…read moreThey've been trustworthy, professional, friendly, quick... if I could I would give them more then 5 stars! Also Great location near the city. All kinds of services! Highly recommended!!

I will never go to a dealership again unless my car is still under warranty. I was accustomed to…read moretaking my car to the dreadful Carl Black Chevrolet for oil changes because it was close by, even if I HATED being subject to their honky hip-hop blaring over the PA and then five or ten annoying tvs on full blast. I was going to see them very recently and called about having them replace a corroded and of a battery cable, a relatively simple task. They had the unmitigated gall to quote me over $300!!!!! Yeah, no. I called Ace and spoke with Dan and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The cost to replace that corroded end of the cable? $32.00. $32.00 vs. $300. Not only was the cable replaced, I had the oil changed as well and was in and out of there in an hour for well under $100.00. An honest, fair mechanic is difficult to find but after doing a good bit of research and found several reviews both on Yelp and Google, I arrived at ACE and I will bring all my vehicles here from now on. Frankly, I would much rather give my hard earned money to a local business than the cousin of some crappy country singer and his shady dealership. PS: There is no place here to sit an wait on your car but the Orlando Public Library is across the street and Dunkin Donuts is just down East Colonial.

Fred's took care of it right the first time. Matter of fact, Every repair since bringing my vehicle to this location has been done correctly and properly. Is this the shop with every bell and whistle in the industry? Nope. Is this the shop that will explain the situation and not price gouge you, and stand behind their work? Absolutely. After Hrs Box for key drop off if you work has saved me a few times too. I've recommended quite a few people to this shop, and they have all apparently had similar experiences as well. Good people, better service. If that isn't the case, talk to Fred directly and he'll make it right.

Very nice people, but I have tried them twice and have been disappointed both times. This last time…read moreit was a simple radiator leak. They replaced the coolant recovery tank, but did not replace the leaking radiator. I had to replace the leaking radiator my self because they were not available on Saturday or Sunday. I understand that mistakes happen, but they also charged me $139.99 for the coolant recovery tank part. Anybody can buy that part locally for $71.99 and even cheaper online. I asked them to take a look at my bill if see if they thought it was fair, and they did not get back with me. I am not mad at them because I think they are trying to do good work and trying to help people. However, be careful................ the quality of their works may be lacking and their parts markup is extreme.

There is nothing nice i can say about this shop. Not only…read moredid they do the work incorrectly. (Both front wheel bearings) - less than a month went by and they were already bad again. Same noise came back. Took it back to them - they claimed it was my transmission and not the work they did. 1st time. With an older vehicle it was not worth it to put in a USED $3500 transmission... so with this economy i told them ill just drive the car till it dies then. The noise got so bad I took my car to another shop who was able to tell me whoever touched my car last ALSO messed up my brakes, calibers, and routers. Cost to fix $1700. Immediately im upset, call martys back they tell me dont they get first dibs to take a look since they did the work. - ummm yes however you had that chance over a month ago. Feb was the first time martys worked on my car. March the noise came back. April this new shop was able to see whats wrong. So ran the car back over to martys who again claimed and put in writing - "theres no damage and there is a noise coming from the transmission". I inform the new shop of what martys is telling me and they basically screamed at me "IT'S NOT THE TRANSMISSION!". ok well what now? Still cant afford $1700 when its martys who caused all this damage and wont take responsibility. Finally I couldn't take the noise anymore. End of June took it to yet a 3rd shop! Who was able to diagnose - yup its the wheel bearings. Installed incorrectly- they were destroyed. So I collected all this evidence. All the invoices, photos, videos, written statement etc. Sent a demand letter which martys never replied to. So I guess leaving reviews is the only way to get thier attention. Not only was the 2nd repair even more expensive I LITERALLY HAD TO PAY TWICE FOR THE FRONT 2 WHEEL BEARINGS SINCE MARTYS bent 1 part of my vehicle so the fix was even more expensive the 2nd time around, they also grounded down another part. Both of which I had to replace. NEVER GO HERE. I thought w all this documentation written statements etc. Id be able to get my money back (which im due more since they cause more damage) but they think its cute to leave it unanswered showing bad faith. At this point I dont anticipate any money back from martys- sad very shady business. I ended up having to spend way more than $3500 due to thier negligence.
