My experience at this Firestone is a horrible . I was there last year to buy a set of 4 tires. Then…read moreon May 24, thee2025. I had a flat tire, the person helping me was LIZZZ, this woman is incompetent, all my information was wrong, email, name ect. I asked for this to be corrected, the only thing she corrected was my e mail, not my name. My name is Randy on their computer according to them, I have one name and they stole it and replaced it with a new one. I was constantly been called Randy?? I waited for my car to be done at the shop. I kept on telling them my name is "LAURA" and no one cared. They did not change my name on the computer system and I received a e mail with a headline , Dear Randy

They had more diagnostics techs on staff so more flexibility in scheduling an appointment-something I needed sooner than later. The team itself was very efficient, offering the friendly, casual atmosphere. Though I said they could have the day they attended to my vehicle right away and finished in a shorter time frame than other locations I've been to. Also the manager took time to come out and say hello when I was checking out which is always appreciated and adds a personal touch and confidence boost that this is indeed a location that will do what needs to be done and fairly. Pricing was fair and in line with industry, Unfortunately my issue was not able to be corrected at the location due to it being more electrical in nature (they actually waived the diagnostic for me since unable to assist) but they did provide me recommendations on where to go for next steps. This is how I'd prefer it- instead of a branch simply tackling the project on their own and charging for things that would not actually help to get money and just to patch up to move the customer on the way to find more trouble down the road (literally). I'll definitely be returning personally when my next car need arises. If you're not sure of whether this location is or isn't for you I recommend giving them a go!

$900 MISTAKE to go here - Horribly-trained staff INTENTIONALLY DESTROYED my OIL DRAIN PLUG when…read morethey used THREAD LOCKER on it after substituting a NON-STANDARD PLUG that was very soft steel on the prior visit, then on this most recent visit they ROUNDED OFF the BOLT HEAD on that horrible drain plug they had substituted in. Seriously my counsel just sent them a DEMAND LETTER for DAMAGES. It was bunch of incompetents trying to remove the plug they intentionally substituted and used thread locker on in the prior visit. WHY? I guess it was to keep me from changing my own oil, but I WAS THE ONE who had to FIX THE PROBLEM because they claimed I did it. Ha! LMAO...NOT! I haven't been under my car in about 15 years, and NO SHOP has worked on it since 2016 - only trips to Valvoline (it's a low miles vehicle that gets minimal use). At least I had not been under it UNTIL NOW to discover what DAMAGE they did and to remove the drain plug that THEY COULDN'T REMOVE. Their own plug - they could not remove it. Note that: They tried to keep customers OUT of their own vehicles for maintenance and they ENDED UP KEEPING THEMSELVES OUT. So I have PHOTOS of the BLUE THREAD LOCKER on the drain plug - they used so much it was coming out the very bottom. It was SEIZED and cost me a WHOLE DRAIN PAN REPLACEMENT plus GASKET and HUGE LABOR to fix this. Yes, that was the cost to FIX their intentional damage to my vehicle. I will post photos of how they DESTROYED THE DRAIN PLUG by repeatedly rounding it off then tapping on a series of ever-smaller 12-tooth sockets, which just rounded it MORE. It's so soft (their plug!) and so damaged (their un-trained crew actions) that the bolt head formed a TUNNEL as you can see in the photos. This makes me doubt ever going to an oil change place again. My counsel is sending them the bill with a letter telling them they'll end up in litigation if they don't pay it. IT'S THAT BAD. Some history: I started using oil change places about 15 years ago because I hated the hassle and time of working on cars, despite mostly knowing what I was doing from having been a precision machinist (you name a machine, I did setup and production on it, including CNC-everything) for a large defense contractor for YEARS. So I -could- do labor but I figured "what could they screw up in an oil change?" I found out: EVERYTHING. Now, because these people are SO INCOMPETENT, and so PERNICIOUS in trying to keep me from working on my own car (using thread locker, replacing my drain plug with a smaller bolt size and softer aftermarket plug, rounding off the bolt) now I have no choice in the future because these guys want to thread-lock and over-torque EVERYTHING. NIGHTMARE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VALVOLINE - Corner of Semoran 436 at Old Cheney Hwy. In fact, I will be avoiding ALL VALVOLINE EVERYTHING - all shops, all VALVOLINE PRODUCTS, EVERYTHING. These people LIE to your FACE and DENY RESPONSIBILITY. They even tried to lie to me about how long since the last oil change (was 24 months, they said 3 years) - like I'm some sort of idiot who can't do math or something. Just HORRIBLE... Will update whether they pay for their mistake or not. Something tells me they will not take responsibility.

My last visit to this location. I was told it would be a 10-15-minute wait and it was a full hour…read more At some point, you wait so long that leaving seems like a waste as well. Several other customers getting agitated. They had plenty of staff, but there was no urgency. No explanation was given when I was finally served. I've been a "Valvoline-only" customer for over a decade, but I'll be frequenting other locations going forward.
