I typically am the only one who works on my vehicles anymore since it's becoming more and more difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy shop. However this recent job was bigger than what I had the time or tools for and I couldn't be happier with the service I received here. I brought in my Silverado to have the hydraulic lifters deleted due to a failed lifter. I had suspicions of other issues but were assured by other mechanics that they didn't exist. I only spoke Leon personally who has impeccable customer service and knowledge. He was able to give me the best price around and clearly had the knowledge necessary for the job. It took a little longer to get the vehicle into a bay than expected and while most shops wouldn't bother Leon called and maintained communication throughout the entire job which is such a small thing that goes such a long way. The delay was perfectly understandable, I know personally no job ever goes as smooth as you expect. After the initial tear down Leon reached out again to let me know that my suspicions were correct and a few other things needed to be replaced or at the very least were worth doing while it was tore down and about at that time anyway. Leon was able to get me a fair price on parts and replace everything I was looking at getting done anyway. Leon was even honest enough to talk me out of a more expensive replacement other shops had told me was necessary and provide me the education why it wouldn't be worth it. Trucks been running great for about a month now. Absolutely no complaints. Can't thank these guys enough for all the work and actually being good to the customer. Took me in very fast , they let me keep my car there a few extra days ( I went out of town ) and also explained that my car needed an alignment and possibly brake job because it pulled when they tested it . My spouse and I went to Automotive One to ask about something that sounded like a lego piece behind the horn where the airbag is. The guy at the counter did his job to create fear in my spouse that it needed to be repaired as it could cause it to go off at anytime for around $100+ to only look at it. BS. I said the airbag only deploys when an impact is made to the front bumper. He said, "yes, and if there is something that could activate the sensor in the steering wheel". BS. I left, found a reputable mechanic who took out two screws on the side, and removed the horn cover/air bag and confirmed what I already knew about airbags. He charged nothing for 5 minutes of work and gets a 5 star review. Automotive One strikes fear of uncertainty in people and has no credibility. read more

Had my car transferred from a local performance shop. It has an airlift system and I needed the car aligned. They charged 90$ and said afterward that the bolts caster camber plates were not easily accessible. After explaining that they are I was informed I could bring it back in and they would charge 50$ to fix it. I told Leon I was going somewhere else. read more

I had been going to another garage for a few years but recently felt like my garage may be overcharging me for work they were doing. Some friends suggested Automotive One. I was in need of my 60K mileage servicing on my truck and my current garage said it would cost me over $900 with labor. I found that to be excessive for a service that was mostly just checks. Automotive One quoted me only $450 with labor. I got a call that my front brakes needed changing and even with adding that, the bill was still over $300 less than my other garage. They seemed fair, very courteous and honest. I will definitely take my truck back for other work. Had a Class III trailer hitch installed on my new Honda Pilot today by Karl at Automotive One in Longwood FL. After having my vehicle checked in by a service writer, I was afforded the opportunity to speak directly with Karl regarding some specifics of the installation. He answered my questions, expertly installed the hitch in a timely manner, and returned the vehicle to me. I might add that the interior and exterior of my vehicle was as clean as when I drove it in for this service. Extreme price gouging! Do not take your vehicle here for repairs. The fuel pump went out on my 1999 Chevy S10. I took it here because it was the closest shop to where I broke down at. My uncle was a mechanic and told me it should cost no more than $300 to repair and that it was a quick fix with cheaper American parts. They charged me $980 after they fixed it! That is the cost of a fuel pump in a Audi maybe, but not a cheap small truck. Granted, the work was decent but I maxed out my credit card and almost couldn't pay rent because of their over charging. Not happy at all with service , went in for a a/c problem drove off if was fine after paying over $800 in labor because i bought my own part in . A few months later It stopped working,i brought it back in then they say it was another problem added and we would fix it for another$200 plus dollars,, I came to pick it up and drove it for another 3 days then it stopped working again , then I brought it back again and they said they didn't Put any freon in the vehicle,, so after it was cold for a nother couple of months , I had stopped driving it for some months because i was so frustrated,,, then I l took it back in and they told me it was a hole In the compressor as if it exploded . So I argued with them about my services telling them that it could be because of their mechanic,,and they cursed me ,,, so now I'm furious , to come me down they said they would do the labor of the compressor , dryer for free but charge me to put in a condenser for $500 ..upon getting this done advance auto parts store voided my part . Now my car is at there facility with no compressor in it ,, so they negotiated to get their parts this time and If anything else happen to it they warranty it ,, so I agree,,, now it broke again and I advised no one to ever come to this place read more
