Great customer service over the phone when setting up an appointment as well as in person. I came…read morein for a tire rotation, but had to get 2 new tires and they still had me out within the promised times 45 minutes to an hour. Highly recommend!

I almost never leave negative reviews because I've had great experiences with all other Discount…read moreTire locations in the past, but today's visit was incredibly disappointing. I came in after my tire blew on the highway. The puncture was in the repairable area of the tread, but because the tire had been repaired by a previous owner before I purchased the vehicle, I was told it couldn't be patched and that my only option was to buy a brand-new tire. That ended up costing me over $350 for a single tire. And that was after working out a "deal" for me. Right. While I understand there are company policies regarding tire repairs, what really frustrated me was the lack of care afterward. After installing the new tire, the technicians didn't properly secure my spare tire back into the trunk. They also left the jack and tools tossed around instead of placing them back into the designated molded compartments in the Styrofoam organizer where they belong. It may sound like a small thing, but if you're going to charge someone hundreds of dollars for one tire, the least you can do is return their vehicle in the same condition you received it. Instead, I had to fix everything myself once I got home after listening to everything clank and slide around in there on the ride home. Again, I've always had positive experiences with other Discount Tire locations before and thought because the reviews at this location were so high it would be okay, but clearly not. Small details like this make a big deal to someone who's already dealing with a stressful moment, which is why this visit was more than disappointing.

Cycle Gear provides for all of my motorcycle riding safety needs. If I cannot find what I need…read morehere, the only other place to shop is online. Cycle Gear sells tools, maintenance supplies, chains, tires, emergency repair kits, riding gear, and more. Yes, JP cycles, Seminole Power Sports, Harley Davidson, and some other local retailers carry safety gear, but Cycle Gear has them beat by a landslide. If you do not already know, motorcycling is an expensive hobby/sport. After paying for and completing the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) course, you will need to purchase a used bike (like me) or spend a minimum of $7K for a new motorcycle. Then there are the costs associated with the tag, title, and insurance. With that out of the way, you can finally ride! But wait, there is more, don't forget about the riding gear! That is where Cycle Gear comes into the picture. A rider can get only away with wearing cheap gear for so long. $50 skull caps, $20 Walmart fingerless gloves, $25 Levi jeans, and $50 Converse sneakers will protect the rider as long as an incident never occurs. Trained riders know that incidents will eventually happen, even to the best of riders, and when it does, you need to be wearing the appropriate gear. A full face, top quality, DOT/Snell-approved helmet will cost $160-$900. Mesh riding jackets and pants lined with Kevlar and removable CE padding starts at $160. Gloves that protect your fingers, knuckles, palms, and wrists cost $50. Good boots usually cost $150; be sure to stay away from laces unless they tie-up well above the ankle. So, as you can see, quality riding gear gets expensive quickly. It is brutal wearing riding gear all year round in Florida; however, I will take the opportunity to prevent injury or tragedy should something happen; and I am thankful Cycle Gear has what I need to stay safe. One of the best services Cycle Gear offers is tire changing service. Cycle Gear staff will remove the old tire from the rim, install the new tire, and balance the wheel; however, the customer is responsible for removing and reinstalling the wheel onto their motorcycle. The customer can save substantially if they have the know-how to work on their own bike. On my most recent visit, I purchased two new tires from Cycle Gear online ($221.47) and had the tires shipped to the store. The staff called about two days later when my tires arrived. I delivered my wheels to the store, and my new wheels were ready for pickup in an hour. The service costs $25 per tire install and $8 for one new metal valve stem. The whole ordeal cost me $280 + tax + my own time to do the work. Not a bad deal when compared to changing a tire at the dealer. In the past, I have paid $225 at Seminole Power Sports to change only the rear tire, and a friend of mine spent $280 for a rear tire change at Harley Davidson. I have been purchasing goods and using Cycle Gear services since I started riding back in 2013. I am happy to have always received exceptional customer service at this location. I highly recommend stopping in to see the store, even if you are not a rider. The store is clean, organized, has a lot of awesome gear, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Inside the store the staff did an amazing job of helping me and my wife find a helmet. They went over literally every style and brand of helmet for us and explained the differences. I could tell that the two working there knew what they were talking about and were passionate to share their knowledge. Other than a helmet, I ended buying a riding jacket and gloves. No complaints thus far!
