From my experience my service advisor from previous places called enterprise for an approval and I was done and out within the hour. Shop is not busy. The Tire Kingdom on SR-46 is my go-to place for routine maintenance. I've been to this store a few times mostly for tire rotation, tire replacement, tire repair, brake service, and oil changes. I have the full tire coverage and road hazard protection which comes in handy, but know that the tires are prorated based on time/mileage, so if they are not almost new you still end up buying a new tire at a discounted rate (if they cannot fix it, which they most likely will say that they can't). You also need to purchase another full tire coverage and road hazard protection for that specific tire. For example, I had an issue with a tire when I was traveling to Louisiana. The tire barely had any miles on it, but it was about a year old and began to separate internally causing my vehicle to shimmy when driving over 50 mph. A replacement tire without the coverage cost $121.99; my coverage brought the price down to $49.54. Then I needed to add the coverage for this tire which was another $49.50. So, it was still $100 to replace my "covered tire." I'd say it's a bit of a racket, but they all do it. My full synthetic oil change cost $81.99, but I can usually get it down to $74.99 through price matching other service stations or by completing an online survey. On my most recent visit here, I had the team perform an oil change, rotor replacement, brake pad replacement, and tire rotation. The rotation is free with my tire package; regardless my total came to $1,002.02 with discounts. I previously purchased rear brake pads at Tire Kingdom and noticed I was being charged for these pads again. If you purchase brake pads here, they are guaranteed for life. Luckily, I took a picture of an old service statement and showed it to the service representative, Brian, otherwise I would have been stuck paying for covered pads. Even though Brian couldn't find my invoice in the system he contacted corporate and refunded my card $82.61. Although I have been satisfied with Tire Kingdoms services over the years, they really need to get their computer system in order. I can only wonder how many customers paid for something they shouldn't have. The system should prompt the service manager if they are trying to add on a service or part already covered by a customer's history. My recommendation to customers is to create an Excel file or Word document simplifying service/maintenance history of your vehicle noting the invoice numbers and services performed as a reference before authorizing any work. I usually schedule my services a day or two in advance to secure a spot in the early am or afternoon. If I get an afternoon spot, I'll bring my vehicle in an hour or two early and many times the team gets me in sooner because someone cancelled their appointment or did not show up. All-in-all Tire Kingdom gets the job done, I haven't had any major issues with them in the past, so if you happen to be in the area and need service, I recommend giving them a try. read more

Christian, one of the tire techs in the garage came right out when I needed a pressure check on my rental. Now I'm a 10 year vet of the auto industry, and as a woman it's a huge deal when these guys are honest from the get go. He did the pressure check and when we found it was my driver rear valve stem, he was honest and truthful that it was the quick fix. We worked as a team to quickly change out the core that was loose, and confirmed the 30 second fix was all I need. If you make an appointment with a business, large or small, with the intent to spend $400-500, I don't think it's too much to be treated with basic courtesy. I arrived at my appointment for tires this weekend and waited at the counter for a few minutes. After not seeing anyone to check in with, I walked around to the side to see if I might find someone there. I wasn't rude or invasive, I simply poked my head around the corner. Matt, one of the managers, did not say hello or ask me if I was here for an appointment, he rudely said "Im the one checking you in and I'm short on people." He gestured for me to follow him to the front where he walked in and actually let the door slam in my face. I walked up to the counter where he was waiting for me and asked if I could schedule additional services, to which he shook his head and said "No, I only have a few people today." Not one please, thank you, etc. Throughout my appointment, I heard him curtly turning people away for services with "yes" and "no" answers instead of politely trying to suggest additional appointment times. As customers, we simply ask what's available, and look to team members to guide us, not be irritated with us. I would have empathized with the team being short-handled, but instead I'm irritated with being spoken to like I was dirt. I can't help but be unimpressed. I need breaks, wipers, a new air filter, and so forth. I will be much happier and treated much better by going to the dealership for those! read more

I came here for a nail in my tire after I had already seen where the nail was. I go to tire kingdom they quote me 2 hours to be seen. That's fine I'll wait. After 2 hours they say oh we can't find the nail. As they give me an attitude because they couldn't find the nail. I leave go to a different parking lot and look for the nail again. What do you know there it is. I mark the nail go back to tire kingdom to show that clearly there is a nail in my tire. They say oh you need to replace the tire we can't patch it. I had gotten an oil change for my car and was quoted online for $60 dollars with a coupon when my cars ready which took around 4 hours after I had dropped it off they said it would be $90 I didn't want to argue so I just paid it and left but i did ask why and they said its due to inflation, which i understand but i feel as though they should have honored the price that I was quoted because I ended up spending more money then I was expected to. I am updating a previous review. I took my car in. They messed up my alignment. I took it in the next day and they fixed it. Then 3 days later as I'm driving home from work down the 417 I hear a loud noise and a flapping sound. I pulled over and had it towed to the dealership because I didn't want tire kingdom to touch my car again. I had to wait for 2 hours on the side of the road. I had 4 new tires put on it after they told me that tire kingdom put the wrong size tires on my car. Then when I got out on the road again the noise was still there. After the dealership inspected it they told me that the undercarriage had been damaged. So I had to have that fixed. I had to leave my car there until the part came in. So it cost me $476.13 For a rental car to use while my car was in the shop and another $232.85 for my car to be fixed. Plus when we initially came in I had 2 brand new tires on the back and I asked to have them put in my trunk. So they kept those too. Big mistake on my part to ever take it to this place. I could have went to the dealership and had 2 tires replaced. I ended up having to buy 4 new tires because the 2 I asked them to put in my trunk they threw out. This the worst place ever. I bought tires for my Jeep in 2019. At the time had them do the 50,000 differential maintenance . All they did is change the oil and didn't change seal or washout old oil. Finally got my money back and had the work done else where. Today I took the Jeep back to get tires rotated and aligned. I made an appointment for 10:00 am. At 12:00 pm I call to check in the status. I was told they were about to call me to find out where the tire lock keys were located. I went back a got my Jeep back. I will never take a vehicle to this place again. Went to have my brakes worked on. First time brakes grinding. They replaced the brakes at a cost of around 1000. Two months later brakes making the same grinding noise. Took the car back . The manager said they were really short staffed.I understood that. He was unaware of who did they brakes the first time. He advised he would just replace all the brakes again because the brakes should not be grinding. Rode with the tech to show him the grinding. He advised a lot of turnover of staff at the store and the manager was new. He advised that the brakes pad were the wrong ones on the car. Second time replaced in a couple of months. Couple months later same thing. Ended up just taking my car to the dealership to fix. They advised that the pads were put on wrong and they used the cheapest ones possible. I wanted to share my super positive experience yesterday at this location. Brent (Mgr) and Jeremy (mstr tech) went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe to continue onto Virginia Beach. They got me set up with new tires and a spot on perfect alignment (I know because I was able to stand by the garage door and watch him get my car perfectly dialed in) that really showed as soon as I got back on my way up 95. Car now tracks perfect and drives like the factory intended. Also, these guys went above and beyond to the point of staying late to make sure everything with my car was perfection. I'm not sure about these other reviews, but my experience with this location was well above expectations. People make the experience and Brent and Jeremy were professional, treated me fairly and at a fair price. Orlando Audi dealer wanted just about double (same tires & align) what I paid this shop and I'm confident I got a much more precise alignment by Jeremy than the dealer would have done. 6 stars!! read more

Stay away from this place and from Anthony. I went there for an alignment. He told me that he could not align my truck until a lot of parts were replaced. He tried to say that some parts were needed and tried to sell even the wrong parts for the Ford truck we took to be serviced... Obviously at a more expensive price. We told him we knew the part was one piece, and did not even need replacement as they had been replaced not long ago.. he said no and tried to show us an entire set of parts. I received excellent service and care from this location, specifically Steve. I came in needing a tire repair and he quickly determined that I had a bad wheel bearing. I has previously been told at the dealership that the heinous noise I had complained about was my tires when in reality it was a bad wheel bearing that I had been driving around on for months! It was to the point of being quite dangerous. Steve ordered the part and got me in early the next day for the repair. When I called to inquire about a tire rotation, the technician told me it would be free. Granted, we didn't really expect it to be free, but it got us in the door: mistake #1. $22.99++ for rotation, why not get your oil changed for $23.xx out the door including rotation? OK! Mistake #2. Took FOREVER to get anything done, still not sure if they actually rotated the tires. We watched them most of the time it was in the garage; as previous reviewers mentioned we observed a lot of loafing around, not much work being done. We finally were able to pay and he said they would bring the car around. 15 minutes of waiting outside later, we went back in to ask what was happening. The tech was unable to reset the tire rotation reminder, and left my glove box a mess, manuals obviously just thrown back in after we told them we needed to go. 45+ minutes just because we needed the tires rotated. Went to get my car checked, they charged me close to $50 for an inspection and wanted to charge more than $1000 for a job that costs less than $300 at any reasonable privately owned mechanic. The lack of service cost me 1k....literally. So I had a loose mud guard that goes around to the front bumper and was dragging on the ground. To remove it all you need is a lift to access the 2 screws than were holding it. The first time I came in and explained the problem they said they were busy and to come back tomorrow. So when I finally came back the other guy said they wouldn't do it. I was shocked because it is so simple to do. I had the same problem 3 years ago but another tire shop just like them did it for free because it took them 2 mins to do. So while I was driving to the next shop the mudguard got caught in the tire and ripped the screws off with it causing a blow out. Because my car is awd I have to buy a complete set or the tire size difference will destroy the diff.....thanks guys read more

I took my SUV to the Tire Kingdom on Orlando Drive in Sanford to get four new tires. The Michelins we purchased from that store in '08 still had good tread left on them, but we were heading to the snow and felt safer driving on new tires. I brought a trailer and requested my original tires be returned to it. When the job was finished, they mentioned I had a bent rim that might make my new tires feel out of balance, which I said was odd since my tires didn't feel out of balance before! But they assured me they had put the bent rim on the back, and they loaded what I assumed were my old tires onto my trailer. The next day as we headed off the car shook terribly I took it back to the Orlando Drive Tire Kingdom and after 20 minutes a tech came in say I had a bent rim on the FRONT and my tires were out of balance, which was obvious, but surprising since I just paid to have that done the day before, and was told they put the bent rim on the BACK. Another tech came in 10 minutes later and said they did not have the equipment to balance them and told me to go to the Highway 46 location! There I was informed that 3 of the 4 tires had not been balanced in the first place, the fourth was not balanced accurately. They balanced them, but the car was returned with grease all over the steering wheel and I had to wash it myself before I could drive it. On the way home a center hub cap that was not installed correctly fell off, an extra $50 expense after already wasting two days on this. To add insult to the poor service, the tires placed on my trailer were not even mine. Mine were Michelins, the ones they returned were older by 2 years, cracked, worn out Firestones. It didn't occur to me that I couldn't trust them to return my tires and needed to check up on them. We purchased tires from Tire Kingdom before and have never had such poor quality work. Had the worst experience here. Never had an issue with my car. Had the tires changed and apparently they broke my sensor on the tire. After 9 days of lies and getting advise from other mechanics and a neighbor who works on cars I went back and spoke to the manager and explained what I was informed of by his employers stating the sensor machines let them know that a sensor lets them know its a bad battery that is generating my TPMS light on my computer to stay on. That was a bunch of lies. 5 mechanic stated they broke my sensor which is causing this light to stay on. They replace the sensor for free but now cannot reprogram the computer. Had to go to the dealership and have them reprogram it and then go back to them to get reimbursed me. Will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I bought a used car for my son and it immediately began running hot. We took it to Tire Kingdom and the nightmare began. I replaced so many things I can't even remember them but it included the thermostat and thermostat housing, manifold gasket, gauges, hoses, sensors, the reservoir, the list goes on and on. The car was in their shop for almost 2 weeks and we spent $1600 with them but it was still running hot. They couldn't figure out why! Eventually, they towed it to the Altamonte location to have their "master mechanic" look at it. The wiring to the fans was loose! TWO weeks and $1600 and it was a loose wire!! I would give negative stars if I could ! I usually always take my car to the dealer to get it serviced , however in a time crunch and just happened to get a coupon in the mail for this place . I get all my regular service and there were no mechanical issues with my car . So I drop my car off for an oil change (the coupon was for $49, but somehow I magically needed a $69 oil change )anyway I pick my car back up the idle was rough , got worse the further I drove it . Finally it cut off ,check engine , VSA and some kind of battery charging system light all came on . I called the corporate office and they asked me to bring the car back to them so they could "fix it ".being that I was out of town with the car I took it so they could at-least stop it from shutting off . They said that there was a hose disconnected which was causing the check engine , but the other lights had nothing to do with them , but that they would fix it for me . Mind you the car had none of these issues going in and this literally happened minutes after we left with the car . Long story short they are defiantly either THE most incompetent bunch of pretend mechanics or they are the biggest scammers on the block. I came in today because I had a nail stuck in my tire. Naturally, because of the location of the nail, I had to get the tire replaced. The man at the front desk (who needed assistance spelling everything) said it would be a 2-3 hour wait which was understandable since this location was one of the few opened on Sundays. When I came back to pick up my car, one of my hub caps were cracked in 3 places and sticking half way out from the rim of my tire. Instead of apologizing, the man at the front desk said that they were bound to break over time because they were plastic. I bought those hub caps two weeks ago and they were sturdy and durable during my commute to work everyday to the east side of Orlando. They were perfectly fine up until I went to this Tire Kingdom in Sanford. I'm giving one star because as a paying customer, they should have at least apologized for the inconvenience or SOMETHING. Took my vehicle in for an oil leak that I had to show the mechanic where it was coming from as he ask why did I think I had an oil leak, once I showed him, he did all sorts of small talks and told me i needed 2 sensors replaced, they placed the vehicle on all sorts of machines and stated the issue was correctted, i then drove car home was off for 1 day and did not drive it,upon driving car shut off interstate, towed it back to shop and they could not locate the issue, made a corporate compliant and now they say they found the issue that the motor need replacing, if he test drove it and had the machine do all the readings corectly he would have notice the error readings on the machine, then correct it, today he said it was because gas leaking to the oil and needed to take to dealer, i drove a working vehicle and they returned a broken vehicle, time to lawyer up and proceed, managers are low quality of service and does not take ownership, tire kingdom 4401 w 1st sanford will corrwct and fix my car due to thier negligence, the only good experience is Brent that should be made manager and not someone that has no people skills, nor knowledge, and decideds to leave on lunch and ignor the customer as you over here the line employee ask him to stay and help answer questions i hear him say. Im going to lunch and disappears and does not come nack then hides in back of building, I hope they do not encourage this level off customer service or promotes such low quality management.
