Bought a new truck and got stuck with a bum battery, came in with fingers crossed that I'd be able to have the warranty cover the battery. Spoke with Gonzo and explained what I had going on. He diagnosed issues I was having and handled the entire claims process with my insurance for me. AND he noticed the tires might fit the criteria for a replacement under my insurance plan too. He was right and netted me three new tires valued over $700 at no cost to me on top of giving me a seamless client experience with my battery replacement. Avoid this place. I trusted them to give my car a full inspection, repair brakes, and give me an alignment and tire rotation before I relocated from Florida to Vermont. Throughout the trip, I noticed a knocking sound and it got worse overtime. Today I found out that three of my Lug nuts were missing and five lights were not working. They surmised that Firestone Altamonte did not install the tire properly. This is after I spent almost $1000 at this location to get my car ready for a long-distance journey. I could've been killed, hurt, or killed or hurt other people. Do not go to this location, they do NOT care, and they do not pay attention to the details. Their staff is incompetent at best. Way overdue review for this Firestone location! Have been coming to Firestone for years because of their great reputation. Now that they have the App that helps you track your past maintenance etc, there is much less chance that you miss an important service or repair etc. One particular kudos I wanted to give to this location is that good customer service. I've always been treated very courteously and professionally. They always spend time to explain what services need to be done and the charges etc. Well they always recommend the right maintenance service required, I never felt pressure to add any peripheral services that are not absolutely necessary within my budget. Wanted to give a particular price to Chris today, he assisted me in a very minor check of my car, that other smaller companies would have likely kept my car and charge me some enormous service fee for it. I went in to get an alignment and they told me my rear brakes and rotors needed to be done for 500$, my serpentine belt needed to be replaced 266$ due to drying and cracking, spark plugs needed to be replaced (8 total) for 463$ and a coolant flush, rear differential service, fuel induction service... all costing 1500$. I obviously didn't spend that. I took my vehicle to Zych's in Altamonte and they said my serpentine belt was 100% okay. No drying or cracking. I source the parts and tools to do the rear brake pads and rotors myself. Take off the pads and they're 7mm thick. Not the 2mm Firestone said I had. I came in to get 2 lights replaced. A day time savings light (fog light) and one of the tail lights and I was quoted almost $150. I was told they would have to do extra work to get to the light bulbs which is why it was so expensive . I declined & went to Valvoline & was charged $27 for both lights which took about 6-7 mins. Went to get the oil changed on a rental vehicle I have. I pulled into the location and was stared at for 15 minutes. I've never been to a Firestone before, so I wasn't sure how it worked. I eventually parked, went inside, and waited near one of the counters. About 10 minutes later, a gentleman asked how I could help. I advised my rental car company stated this is where I would go for an oil change, he asked for my keys and then asked for my mileage. I advised I didn't know it, he asked me to guess. Weird. I gave a random number and then he asked if I was going somewhere or just dropping the car off. I said I'd be around the area. I returned about 20 minutes later and again stood near a counter for about 15 minutes before the same gentleman walked up, laid across the counter and advised me to sign some papers. Went in for a scheduled oil change however their service manager said he would not honor the last price they charged and the charge this time would be approximately double what is was last time. I needed to get new tires on my van. I called in the morning to see if the sale tire was in stock, but it was not. No worries they offered me a similar tire that was more expensive, but did a price match on the sale tire. Awesome - so scheduled an appointment for the same day to drop off the van and pick up later. They called to say everything looked good and the van was ready a few hours later. Able to come in pay and pick up van in minutes. Everything was very smooth and easy. I appreciate them wanting to earn my business, how friendly everyone was, and the service provided. I called & received a next day appointment so when I got to my appt. & was asked "what do I need? I told the young man at the register that I had hit a pothole & was experiencing a wobbling car. He asked me again what I wanted done & since I don't know much about cars I said, I guess I need an alignment? We went over the price points for their service, none of which was a simple alignment so unfortunately, I had to pay for the lowest package of 3 alignments/yr. to have the car serviced, so I reluctantly said ok. When I got my car back I received a page showing some fancy computer diagnostics & my invoice. I drove the car home & noticed the car was only mildly better & by the time I got home, it was back to the way it was before. My husband insisted we take it to another, more reputable total care car center so I made another appt. & it was found that 2 of my tires had bubbles in them & needed to be replaced right away. Unbelievable! The good news is, my car is running beautifully now! I guess you can figure I'll never go back to Firestone & you can be sure, all my work friends are aware of the horrible job & dangerous condition I was in while driving it around for another 2 days trying to figure out what to do next. My car was shaking while idling, and I took it here to get fixed on a Friday afternoon. The problem was fixed by Saturday evening. The good: Quality work. My car is no longer having any issues because the ignition coils were replaced on all of the cylinders. The bad: Customer service. Every time I walked in it took at least 2 minutes to even acknowledge I was there, even if there was no one being helped or anyone on the phone. Communication. Extreme effort had to be made by me to get any information about the problem and work being completed. Rather than let me know, I was forced to ask questions and given very short answers. Phone communication was similar, it always seemed as if there was not enough time for them to have any conversation. Time management. I dropped my car off Friday afternoon and was told I'd get some diagnosis Saturday morning. I called Saturday at noon and they had a quote but had not called me. I was given a quote which I agreed to after probing about the issue and asked how much time it would take to fix. They said 30 minutes, so I planned to be there about an hour later to give some buffer time. When I got there they had not even started and I ended up waiting another 2 hours in the lobby before leaving. They called me another hour after I left that it was finished. By the time I picked up my car I had wasted 3 Uber rides. Overall - if you have the luxury of extra time and energy this place is for you. Drop it off and wait for the final call to pick it up. Came back to Firestone Tire and Service Center after being here a couple of months before to get some tires fixed, I was told my oil change would be $15 bucks but it was actualy $15 bucks of the regular price of an oil change ($37.00) I had made an appointment for an oil change at 12:30 and came in on time and everything but then I waited and waited and notice people were coming and going before me until the manager came up to me and asked me if everything was OK, it turns out after i was told it would be one hour for my oil change(witch is ridiculous for an oil change) I had waited one hour and my car was still not inside the shop for the oil change after it was all done and said and the manager notice I was mad I got this oil change for free due to them forgetting about me and I even had an appointment, I guess I made the manager feel bad because i got the next oil change for free witch is good for me but over all I was not happy waiting about 2 hours for an oil change and his excuse is "they don't run a full crew on Sundays" well darn aint that your problem is what I felt like saying. Over all after this experience I will give them ONE more chance but if next time I come in they take long again I will NEVER come back again, I can go to Mobile and get my oil change quicker but I have the Firestone card and only pay $22 bucks for oil change witch is the only reason I came here. So, here we are, out of state tags, tires close to time to replace them and Firestone had a perfect chance to take advantage of us. Guess what....they didn't. They were great! They were very busy, but got the car up on the lift, found out it was only a nail head and the tire wasn't leaking. They didn't even charge us. I wholeheartedly, and without reservation give this Firestone 5 stars. I've been here many times for oil changes and with my last car I replaced the tires at this shop. They matched the price from tire rack .com on the tires I wanted and always take local competitor coupons for oil changes etc... which I really like. The manager I usually see is very nice and accommodating in this way. They can get busy so make reservations. Waiting for service in their lobby is ok. They have some chairs, a tv, and free coffee though I don't partake. The bathroom is decent, but mostly I drop off and let them call me when it's done. I'm fairly untrusting of auto shops, but these guys have earned my trust, thus the review. I only go here or automaker dealership for service. read more

The service was great, fast and efficient. I had a flat tire that i needed fixed so i brought in the tire to the shop. They examined the tire and found that my air valve stem had broken. After they told me the problem, they replaced it, fixed it and filled it back up with air, all within 10 minutes. The person who helped me was very friendly, and he made sure to explain everything in detail so i would know what's going on. I ended up paying less than the price i was quoted, because they finished it so fast. If i ever need my tires fixed again, I'll definitely be coming back to this place! read more

This location has absolutely the best customer service I've ever received. They go out of their way to accommodate me and make sure I leave happy. The manager, Thanhan was very thorough and took the time to make sure I understood everything. Even the store front was nice and clean! I don't understand why some customers here are so impatient when it comes to waiting, I had an appointment and was absolutely fine with waiting my turn. Look, when you make an appointment at a doctors' office, do you not come on time yet still have to wait? My doctor's office even charges me $40 if I'm late and I still have to wait 30 minutes to an hour even when I come on time. So know that there will always be pending customers in front of you, give them a break. With my oil change, I'm sure along with any other services, they offer and do a mandatory full inspection of your car (unless you specifically instruct them otherwise) to let you know if there's anything wrong with your car, anything you might need or what needs to be looked at which is very reassuring; definitely worth the extra time on my oil change. My only complaint? Ladies, please stop stealing all the gossip and fashion magazines! I'm tired of reading espn... (T_T) All in all, I am very happy with my experience. He is surely a credit to the company through his complete customer care and satisfaction. I have specialty performance cars and I am a little OCD over them...Brendon understands and accommodates me accordingly. Maybe it's because I'm woman and they try to take advantage of people that don't know much about cars. Even a simple oil change takes almost two hours if not longer. If you have only one car it's quite inconvenient. The customer service is sub-par because it comes off fake. The employees are just there to make a quick buck with up charging and selling. Even if you make an appointment, you will still wait two hours. I've gone during busy and slow times and had to wait the same amount every time. The employees seem to sit around with their thumbs up their butts or face deep in their cell phones, I attribute this to the awful wait time. I had gotten my wheels aligned two weeks prior by my own mechanic and when I took my car into this location to buy four new tires, they messed up my alignment and charged me to fix it. When confronted they told me to just take it back to my mechanic if I wanted it done for free. Also told me there was no deal when buying all four tires but then miraculously the next day there was one. This is with a sign in the store that states there was a promotion going on. They put on a false customer service to milk as much out of you as possible. If you need to go to this location, just be mindful of exactly what you need done to your call. read more

Honestly, I've gotten nothing but good prices, good recommendations and excellent service when I go to this shop. I've been going to this shop for about a year for multiple things and each time, it's been easy to deal with and I trust their recommendations. I recently got my brakes done by this shop and after they were done, for 3 months straight, my brakes were squeaking pretty loudly. I brought it back to have it checked out and they installed new brakes and replaced the rotors as well at no cost. Although I wished it was done correctly the first time around, I appreciated the fact that they gave me new brakes and rotors to correct the issue while trying not to sucker more money out of me. read more

I brought my toyota minivan because it was making thumping noise under everytime i brake or release my brakes or when i turn left or right. I needed an estimate of what was causing it and how much to repair. After an hour of diagnosing the possible problem and paying $10 for the inspection, I told that my axles were making the noise and that I need to replace them along with replacing my front shocks and/or strut assembly as well as my rear shocks for a total of $2525.98. I could not believe the possible expense. So I decided to bring my mini van to a local repair shop in Longwood. To my pleasant surprise, they only charged me $95.00. All they did was tighten all the frame bolts which were loose and my problem was solved. How can Firestone with all the advance computer equipment and supposedly trained technicians give a a very wrong diagnosis? My husband went in for a flat repair on May 17. Yesterday, he noticed a lug nut on the ground by his vehicle. He checked his tire and sure enough it belonged to him. Inspecting it further he was missing 2 other lug nuts and the rest were loose! He has been going up and down I-4 for his job to Daytona, etc. for the last few days. What would have happened if his tire fell off when going 70 mph? That is pure negligence. If the technician would have paid more attention to his job than trying to up sell on everything this may not have happened. Very scary stuff. When the services quoted were questioned, they came back with a lower price saying that some of the services didn't need to be done ( then why was I told I needed them originally!). Eventually, got what was needed for $200+. I came back soon after because the service engine light was on once I got home. Sat there for 2 hours. No communication. Had to ask when I would get some answers. They then said the light was broken. Took them two hours to figure that out and didn't fix it. I left. Will NEVER COME BACK.
