    Ceramic coating

    This is the place to bring your car for anything related to detailing and things like ceramic coating. Cam goes the extra mile to explain everything to you and make sure your car is done right. He is extremely knowledgeable in all things related to your car...inside and out. They put on a ceramic coat on my car and they do it right by properly prepping the paint before unlike many places you'll see with cheaper prices. They even follow up a couple weeks after with a wash and inspection of their work. Do it right and bring your car here!

    My car has never looked better!! Seriously!! I had so much sap on my car from the trees at work, it was awful! Cam and his crew took their time to make sure every inch, inside and out, was cleaned to perfection! I was stunned when I picked it up! I cannot recommend Drive enough!!

    Cam is the man!! Cannot recommend this place enough, as well as Cam's expertise and advice through the process. I ended up doing paint correction and a graphene coating on my Audi, and the results look better than a showroom finish. I knew it was going to look good, but I didn't think it was going to look THIS GOOD. You almost want to fall into the paint, the coating gives a sense of depth to the color, and yet there's a reflective sheen that just makes the car look high caliber. Price point was super reasonable as well, especially considering the hours of work at play to get this end result. I also got after care instructions in order to keep the car looking fresh for as long as I can.

    Words can't describe the level of detail Cameron puts into what he does. Ceramic coating and detailing is top notch. Drive Auto Appearance!!

    I have since sold my BMW locally but visited Cameron and his shop while I was in Dallas again this past weekend and he is the same great guy. He remembered me specifically and wanted to make my experience great. I just stopped in to say hey and grabbed a few items to help support. Cameron is just an awesome guy that loves doing what he does.

    Most people get up and go to work every day because they have to, but not Cam. This man loves what he does and has found his calling. Cam is an encyclopedia of knowledge on automotive products and techniques, but what really sets him apart is his passion. Cam's passion shines through in everything he does. He has developed all of his own products and they are first-class. He takes the time to explain not only his processes but the proper methods to maintain your car's finish at home. I drive a black 2007 Infiniti M35 and I've run it through every car wash in Collin County. It was covered in swirl marks, halos and scratches. I had someone else wax it several months ago and after a few weeks I had even more swirls and rainbows. It was in really bad shape. I brought it to Cam and he explained the multi-step process that would be required to bring it back to it's original beauty. When I returned for my car I thought maybe he'd given up and just repainted it. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was-it truly looked like a brand-new car. If you have a black car, you know how hard it is to keep clean - Cam not only made it look new but provided me with the products and knowledge to keep it looking new. He also convinced my 10 year old son that hand-washing my car would be a fun way to earn money-talk about full service! I'm pleased to give Cam and DRIVE Auto my highest personal recommendation. I'll be taking my wife's new (black) Denali to him next for it's first wax/sealant. Give DRIVE a shot-you won't be disappointed.

    I took my baby in for a full wrap and ceramic coat. Cam Johnson is the man! He walked me through exactly what the process was, what to expect, and when I picked it up he gave me homework to keep the car looking beautiful once it got home. I can't talk highly enough about Cam's professionalism and passion for what he does. If there was ever a place to go in Plano for detailing needs, this is it. It makes me feel bad I don't have more cars!

    I don't easily believe reviews online, and my trust for businesses has declined greatly over the years. People just don't seem to care like they used to. This is NOT the case with Cam at Drive Auto Appearance. After a wax-job-gone-bad several years ago, I've been very reluctant to try someone else. Decide to trust the online reviews and just go for it. Cam is the ultimate perfectionist, and it's obvious he loves what he does. All the previous reviews and comments below are true, so I won't repeat them all. The results? Look for yourself at the photo of my 2004 Civic. Literally, it's equivalent to looking into a mirror. Goodbye milky residue and build-up from drive-through car washes. Won't be doing THAT anymore. Thanks, Cam, for restoring my faith ... and my baby's finish!

We called before coming to make sure there would be plenty of time before closing and that they weren't too busy. They got to us right away, seemed friendly, and had a comfortable seating area inside. I was disappointed and quite frankly perplexed when I got to my car. At first glance, the seats looked good and I was super excited because in six years with this car I have never had an interior detailing. However, I went to put my bags in the trunk and it looked like they hadn't even cleaned/vacuumed it. There was dog fur still ALL over it. The reason I took it here is because a normal car wash vacuum hasn't gotten this fur out. It wasn't just a little. It was as if it wasn't even attempted! My floor mats had also been placed in the trunk and the two on top looked gorgeous and brand new but the two bottom ones (thank goodness I even checked!) were still DRY with lint and fur all over them. So I asked them very nicely if they would please vacuum those two mats and my trunk because it doesn't look like it was touched. There was still a huge piece of dirt there too! I was confused at first and wondered if the trunk just isn't included in the interior detailing? Or if they were hoping I wouldn't notice? At this point, it was approaching closing time (I'm assuming...it was nearly 5pm on Sunday) and a woman had disconnected the vacuum already and was about to haul it inside. I said "I'm so sorry to bug you, but do you mind if we use that? There's still just a lot of fur." And she (very clearly upset) put it back and they did a quick vacuum over it. When I was getting into my front seat, there was still makeup all over the driver head rest, which was also dry and had not even been attempted to have been cleaned! So I asked him if he could shampoo that spot (another reason I brought it in). He came up to it with a spray bottle and sprayed some blue spray in it, which did not look like shampoo. My front windshield still has the same annoying film it always has, my front driver seat still has the same "stain" in it (sunscreen from the back of my legs) and I'm just really bummed. My mom felt bad and semi-responsible since she hyped it up and said they normally do a much better job. Maybe it depends who you get. I hate being a "Karen" (I'm aware this review is the definition of "complaining Karen"), but I'm so tired of spending hard-earned money and taking a chance with it only to be disappointed. I'm sure some people here do an outstanding job, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would TOTALLY have been happy if they had said "we would love to make this right, please come back another time and we will make sure you're pleased" or something like that, but the way the all ran off as I was asking them to do what I paid for was just unprofessional in my opinion. I know it's partially my fault because the temp was dropping and it was getting windy and they were finishing up around closing time. I recognize that. But I still think they could've handled it better. Update: I called first thing the next morning. No answer. Left a voicemail, I was very polite and just asked for a callback to see if I could swing by again and get a redo. No call back.

    On February 23, 2026, for my birthday, I bought myself a car detail. I signed up for monthly…read moremembership to receive a discount on both the first month of membership and the detail. I was charged $55 for a detail, and $22 for the first month. When I returned home, I noticed the entire third row of the car had not been vacuumed or detailed. I drove back to the car wash, vacuumed it myself, and asked the attendant to refund me and cancel my membership. He told me only a manager could do that, and the manager was not there. He told me that he would tell the manager when they came in. That clearly did not happen, because on March 23, 2026, my card was charged $44 for another month. I called my credit card company to dispute all charges and they cancelled my card and issued me a new one. On April 23, 2026 you tried to charge me again, and the transaction was declined. Apparently somehow you obtained the new card number and charged me on April 24, 2026 for another $44 for a month. I received ONE car wash and ONE half-detail on February 23, 2026 that I had to finish myself. I CANCELLED THIS MEMBERSHIP. I cancelled my card and you have an open dispute with them, yet you continue to charge me. I WANT A REFUND OF $165 AND IF YOU CHARGE MY CARD AGAIN I WILL PAY the $1 FEE TO FIND YOUR REGISTERED AGENT ON THE SECRETARY OF STATE WEBISTE SO THAT I CAN SERVE YOU WITH A LAWSUIT. I DID NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT. IF YOU DO NOT CALL ME TO CONFIRM REFUND AND CANCELLATION I WILL SUE YOU.
