    Shrimp taco birria

Top notch if you're a hipster but if you a real one who knows real birria you might be disappointed. I feel like this is a spot meant more for the door dashers and grub hubbers than the ones who like good food!!

Birria ramen with so much grease separated at the top

Avoid this place. I used to be a regular at Dripped Birria and ordered pick-up from them several times without issue, which is what makes this experience so disappointing. My usual order is the birria ramen and quesabirria tacos. This time, the ramen arrived with a thick layer of oil settled on top and tasted so bad it was completely inedible. The taste was awful. I drove back to the restaurant immediately to give them a chance to fix it. While calmly explaining the situation and showing them the container the ramen was in, a woman who was identified as the manager interrupted and said there was nothing they could do--before I could even ask for a remake or an alternative. She claimed they recently changed their meat and insisted it tastes better now, despite the fact that the food was clearly not okay. She then tried to push responsibility onto DoorDash, even though the order was placed through the restaurant's own app, which is merely powered by DoorDash. I attempted to call DoorDash customer service, but the phone number listed for order issues goes directly to the restaurant, and she was the one who answered when I called. As someone with years of customer service experience, this was jaw-dropping. Restaurants mess up--it happens. What separates good businesses from bad ones is how they respond. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no accountability. I've always noticed that the dining room is usually empty when I pick up my food. After this experience, that finally makes sense. With so many good birria options in this city, there's no reason to return here.

    Street-sized birria tacos

I recently visited Dripped Birria's Midtown location, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While the presentation of the food looked appealing at first glance, the portion sizes were shockingly small--far smaller than what you'd reasonably expect for the price. It honestly felt misleading, as if the portions were designed to look more substantial than they actually were. The birria tacos were all street-sized tacos served on corn tortillas which are significantly smaller. This was not worth the $25 I spent. For a restaurant that specializes in birria, I expected a hearty, satisfying meal. Instead, I felt like I barely ate. The value just isn't there, and it comes across as deceptive to customers who are expecting a proper serving. There are plenty of other restaurants out there that serve authentic, generously portioned birria without cutting corners or misleading their customers. I would strongly recommend exploring those options instead. I won't be returning, and I hope others are aware of what to expect before spending their money here.

Wow. That was some bad food. Staff was nice. But it's like an actor with a bad script. What can you do. The taco was greasy, limp and soggy. The single taco comes in chicken or "meat" which is beef. The cup of consume was watery and bland. Dipping the taco didn't make it tastier. Just watery. I couldn't see any cilantro or onions in it but when I brought it to the counter I saw a few. The cashier was really nice and gave me some more to make it taste like something. The hot sauce that comes with the taco was ok. But that's about all I can say positive aside from the soda which had good carbonation.

Right off the bat the staff here was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I loved that the restaurant itself was very clean and clearly maintained well. The food honestly was ok but I could see myself coming back for the friendly staff and moody aesthetic.

We've ordered quesabirria tacos all the time from here. This time around we were disappointed with the size of the tacos. They were much smaller than normal which we found strange. They are still good tacos, but again they were much smaller than what we've ordered in the past.

HAS A DRIVE-THRU, LATE-NIGHT EATS, OPEN TILL 4 AM Newly opened in Midtown, WALKING DISTANCE, the next block over from WONDERBAR. I see this being the new spot for drunken eats. It could be a little heavy but depends on what you're craving. The vibey purple lights & black interior fit the aesthetic they're going for - QUESABIRRA TACO: you get a choice of BEEF or CHICKEN. We went with the beef & it was tender. The cheese tied everything together & the consome soup was well seasoned. - BIRRA RAMEN: the chewiness of the noodles was perfect but the broth was a bit too vinegary. It could be because of the TAPATIO seasoning of the ramen - CHURRO & ICECREAM: nice that they have a sweet treat on the menu. Ice cream at 3 am sounds amazing. The churro however did taste greasy. The dough absorbed a lot of the oil so it lacked the crunch I was hoping for from the churro

Maybe it's my first time being Birria and I'm sure there are plenty of great spots but for what it's worth, it was great! We ordered the birria ramen, birria tacos, and fried chicken quesadillas. It was so good! Service was pretty good too. Was not expecting our server who was also the cashier, take care of us and kept our area clean. Pretty cool vibes, lots of led lights. It didn't bother us, but for those who care about lighting, it may be a little too dark. Other than that, we had a good time. Till then, let's eat!!!

I was really looking forward to trying Dripped Birria, but honestly, it was a huge letdown. The main issue? The meat was just bad.Birria is supposed to be tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, but what I got was dry, chewy, and string--like it had been overcooked or just low quality from the start. Even worse, the flavor was completely off. Birria should be rich, well-seasoned, and full of depth, but this tasted bland, like they just threw some basic seasoning on and hoped for the best. And don't get me started on the rice and brand there thin, watery, and had no real flavor. The whole experience was just disappointing. For a spot that hypes up its birria, I expected way better. If they don't fix the quality of their meat, I wouldn't waste my time or money here again. There are way better birria tacos out there.

Found this cute little spot in midtown. First time here and it was pretty good. I love noodles and this is one of my favorite brands so I had to give it a try. I just wish they offered the other flavors as options. BTW Dripped, Tapitó has a birria noodle flavor you are welcome! I want to go back and try more things on the menu, especially the dessert. I was too full after the noodles, I couldn't even finish them all.

There's even a security guard on site, which only adds to the impression that this place is fire. So when I happened to drive by on a 100-degree afternoon and found no line, I took it as a sign to finally give it a try. The small parking lot adjacent to the truck was nearly empty, except for a few other patrons who probably had the same idea. Ordering was simple and to the point. The menu keeps things straightforward: a selection of meats served as tacos or plates with a handful of sides. I ordered two barbacoa tacos with salsa verde. Less than two minutes after placing my order, they were in my hands. Fast service on a scorching day is always appreciated. With no seating available, I retreated to the comfort of my car to eat. Based on the amount of grease packed into these tacos, I would recommend doing the same. Eating them while standing could end with your shirt becoming an unintended side dish. One thing to note: don't count on a generous napkin supply. I realized after returning to my car that none were included. Consider keeping a few emergency fast-food napkins in your glove compartment. Those leftover Taco Bell napkins may finally fulfill their destiny. The barbacoa was flavorful, the salsa verde complemented it well, and overall, the tacos were overall tasty. That said, I left somewhat underwhelmed considering the crowds I routinely see gathered here during lunch and dinner hours. Perhaps I'm missing the standout item that keeps customers lining up daily. Even so, if you happen to have cash in your pocket and find yourself craving authentic tacos, this truck is certainly worth a stop.
