Always enjoy trying new coffee shops and this was definitely a gem. The drinks are well thought out, creative like the Creme brûlée cappuccino I got , and sweet which is a plus for me as I have a major sweet tooth. They had tons of cookies and macaroons at an affordable price. I even loved that they warmed up my cookies just to make it extra gooey. The patio was the best part. Obviously being near a college campus requires there to be a place for students to hang out, but for me just the average joe looking for the above average cup of joe; I truly appreciated a well kept garden area complete with heaters on cold windy days. read more

This coffee shop is my boyfriend's and I's go to location to study and enjoy some coffee. We live all the way in Torrance, so this place really matters to us. Drinks I reccommend: On a hot day/Cold drinks: The submarine, affogato, cold brew Tea: Athena-T If you want to do some work here: There are not a lot of outlets in this location, so make sure your laptop is charged if you want to come here to do some work. A lot of students study here. If there are no seats inside, there is a lot of space outside as well. Parking Private lot with many spaces. I've never had issues with parking. read more

Found out about this place by just searching on Yelp and it was the top rated coffee shop in the Anaheim/Fullerton area. It's a pretty cool spot. There were a lot of people there considering it was around 9 at night I think. Lots of seating so being crowded wasn't really an issue. Outside seating had heaters which was nice. I tried the Cascara Sparkle, which was a little out of the ordinary for me when visiting coffee shops. I usually go with cold brew or nitro cold brew if they have it. But decided to try something new. It's basically cherry soda tea with some vanilla and simple syrup I think and coffee. Kind of a weird combination but it was actually really good. I bet it would be good on a hot summer day. There seemed to be a lot of students there since it was close to CSUF so I'm guessing a lot of students come here to study or hang out. If you're in the area I suggest trying this place out. read more

It is my lifelong mission to find good coffee wherever I go and Dripp is where it's at. Since finding them a week ago, I've gone back three times cause I clearly can't get enough. Aside from their coffee being delish, they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating and good acoustics so when it's busy it is not too loud. It is often quite busy inside, though still not too hard to find a seat. If you're looking for a sweet treat, their baked goods are delicious, though many are often sold out so go early if you don't want to miss out. I'm especially fond of the vegan scone and the lemon poppyseed muffin. read more

The second location that I've been to after the Chino Hills location. It is spacious here and I love the open seating inside and outside. Even though there are a lot of tables, they are usually occupied by students and groups of people meeting to chat. Plenty of parking and service is always fast. There are 2 restrooms (men's and women's) but of course, there always tends to be a line for the women's restroom. Stadtgarten was next door, across the courtyard, but they closed last year. I usually tend to order the latte (hot). I've had their pour over only once. Love the quality of the coffee. It just feels like a hug in a cup. Yes, their prices are higher than others but it's a nice treat for oneself whenever I'm in the area. If you sign up for their emails, they also have coupons here and there. read more

Love the crew at Dripp!! They take such good care of their customers. Even going as far as special ordering a dozen muffins for me when I wanted more than they had on hand. Special shoutout to Bleu! But if you want to study, it can be tough since it is a popular place. However, if you want to study and want to have outlets available, GOOD LUCK! I will change to 5/5 if they offer more outlets. I haven't been to this coffee shop in so long and it was SO overdue. I met my friend this morning for coffee and fortunately for us, Fullerton was our meeting location - being the coffee fanatics we both are I obviously suggested Dripp as it I missed it so much and I mean, this place has a trendy, hipster, quaint, rustic feel and their service is incredible (Morgan was such a sweetheart, btw! Thank you, Morgan for your suggestions and excellent service!) and last but not least the COFFEE is AMAZING, you guys! Do not think twice about it. Just stop go. Your experience will be memorable. The ambiance is very trendy as I said, there's a lot of seating space and they have a gorgeous and really spacious patio! It's a gorgeous location. I think the space outside may be even big enough for an event. Hmmm. But idk if they do those there. I am pretty sure they have wi-fi as well. I think I saw some people on their gadgets. Maybe I'm an old soul and one who yearns for nostalgia to come alive but this Dripp is a unique location in the Downtown Fullerton area. Located next to the historic, and still unoccupied, Fox Theatre Dripp is a mixture of industrial space with found space architecture. This location reminds me of the atmosphere and look of old town Pasadena. With a bar located central to the interior space, the mixture of clean glass with glossy lacquered wood gives it a literal shine. Music plays lightly in the air and the smell of coffee and pastries linger. Outside is an open space with tables and benches of differing heights to enjoy the California summer night. Paired with free Wi-Fi and good drinks this place is a perfect spot for either studying or a romantic date. read more

I've had affogato many times at other places and I've always loved it but this was the first time I didn't. The coffee flavor is so strong and bitter that it overpowers the ice cream. My husband ordered an espresso. Normally he can drink black espresso easily. This one didn't go down so smoothly. Again, much too strong and bitter. I gave it 4 stars because maybe other coffees on the menu are better plus I loved the wall of books as well as the patio. Those two were reason enough to return someday and try something else. read more

What a lovely place to enjoy a cup of your fave, a little sunshine and great conversation! We decided to check out Dripp while we had a little time to kill before a movie and I'm so glad we did. Since it was the afternoon and I didn't want to be up all night I avoided the pour over coffee that looked amazing and went for a tea. I had a Lavender, Orange, Red which is a blend of lavender, orange peel and honey bush. This came in a little pot with a tea cup on a thin wood tray. So cute and the truly delicious. Dripp has a cute patio with little tables and benches that they share with the business next door. We found a table and were able to soak in some sun while sipping beverages. My tea was $4 and my husband's Greek coffee (called a black goat) was $3.35 so with tax/tip this was $9. Not an expensive venture with us hanging out there but would be kind of steep if you're just grabbing a quick cup to go....but then again, the products are pretty quality! We will be back and next time, let me at those ice cream sandwiches! read more

My fiancé and I found this place via meet-up with a vendor. There's no coffee makers, everything is hand poured except for their nitro brew on tap- true to an artisan coffee shop. I got the Cascara Sparkle (sparkling water, cascara cherry and blood orange) which is well balanced, not too sweet, a different flavor than normal Italian style sodas. It is a bit of an acquired taste since it has hints of bitterness- reminds me of Chinese dried orange rinds. Fiancé got the nitro cold brew coffee- one of the best we've ever tried. It's smooth while still allowing the fruity notes of the coffee to shine. It's hard to find artisans coffee shops on par with those in San Francisco and Oakland, but this one hits the spot. When I'm back in the area I will return. read more

My son has basketball practice at the Fullerton union high school and every weekend I just can't wait to come here to get their Spanish latte! It's probably the best one I've tried but I did try their other lattes. However, I am in love with the Spanish latte here more. The decor is modern and there seems to be a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. You will see a lot of students just studying here but there is plenty of seating to sit and have some drinks. My children enjoy coming here for their ice cream and cookies. It's become a nice tradition for the family to swing by and that there is something for everyone to enjoy here. read more

If you're looking for a great hipster coffee shop with requisite Hario drippers and La Marzocco espresso machines then look no further. You get it all here with a great space for catching up with friends or getting some work/studying in. There is also a delightful patio area to enjoy when the weather is good. As expected, the drinks are pricey but if you were concerned about that then you would go to the Starbucks which is literally across the street. That being said I don't think this is a daily stop for most people but well worth the premium for an occasional splurge. read more

Best kept secret! Delicious freshly ground and pressed coffee with artistic finish! They take pride in each cup they serve and show personal interest in each customer that stops in. I don't like matcha so when I say I love their iced matcha with lavender you gotta trust me. It's the best thing. Their baked goods are alright. I've gotten a few and when I want them warmed up, they're still cold in the middle. But the drinks are what keeps me coming there. Ordered Jasmine tea (hot) and an ice cream sandwich. Flavors chosen: cookie- s'mores ice cream- vanilla. The cookies were a bit too chewy for my taste, and the ice cream was OK, the tea was great. I even asked for more hot water for a second steep. Staff was very courteous and friendly. I will be returning to give it another try. Maybe my choices for the sandwich were not the best. read more

I go here way more than I'd care to admit. A while ago I would say that this place had a problem finding personable and friendly baristas but the current crew is killing it in my opinion. They are friendly, prompt, and super helpful educating new comers on their menu. Dripp's coffee is not my favorite. Ive had better and the price is a bit steep but it's the best in DTF I would say. The vibe of the shop is really great for studying, reading, etc. It's also a great shop for small meetings with several large tables and communal areas both inside and outside. They also seem to have upgraded their WiFi recently. About a year or so ago WiFi at Dripp was just some myth. I spent many hours playing the Dino jump game on Google Chrome at Dripp. But recently I've had no problem connecting. read more

I really like this place. It's clean, coffee is good, and it's got a good vibe. But... ***If the owner is actually paying attention to these, you might consider installing more electrical outlets. Most of your customers are college students (using laptops), and it's too large of a place to only have a couple outlets, and tonight, one of those wasn't working. :/ read more

Been going here for a while for thr gingin which packs a pretty powerful ginger kick. This morning though I was blessed enough to try the lemon meringue croissant and the cochata. Yes, I know they do not neccessarily go together, but I wanted to try both. I am so glad I did. Both are perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The lemon meringue croissant was beautiful and messy. The cochata a combination of cold brew and horchata was delicious. It has little coffee flavor, but a delightful cinnamon sugar foam that tastes wayyyy better than starbucks foam. I loved it. I love both and will be back for more. Also, the service is always great too and this is a great place to study. I love Dripp :). read more

It was my first time trying out a Turkish hot latte and it definitely has a distinct taste. It's on the stronger side and before you order be aware that the turkish hot latte isn't a smooth blend, so when you take each sip you'll actually be able to taste the coffee grounds in it. Personally not my favorite, however my friend got the spanish hot latte and that was my favorite i'll get the next time I come! The workers are so nice and the worker who went over the different types of lattes w me was so sweet and informative. It's a nice vibe to catch up as they have outdoor seating as well, along with a chill ambiance on the inside to study, catch up, etc.! read more

I believe dogs cannot be inside the cafe however they do own the outdoor patio which should be fine with your pup. It's large with mature olive trees and plenty of seating, plus gas heaters on chilly evenings.

Staff told us to put substitutions in "special comments" and promised they'd be honored. They weren't- on a single order, twice. We ordered two coffees (oat milk, whole milk) and two customized breakfast burritos. It took 40 minutes. We were the only customers in the cafe. When the food came out, nothing was labeled / not the drinks, not the burritos- and staff couldn't tell us which was which. When I explained that one of us has a dairy allergy and asked them to identify the allergen-free items, I got a blank stare. We opened both burritos: both had cheese, despite my explicit no-cheese request. Their solution? "Can you pick it out?" No. You cannot pick out melted cheese from an allergen order. I was not offered a fresh burrito, just another blank stare until I specifically stated "I need you to remake this with the proper ingredients and confirm what you put in." Once again the burrito came out with no label, and when I asked for clarity on what was in it I was again met me with a blank stare. My partner's burrito was also wrong (pico she'd asked to have removed), but by then the 40-minute wait had made her late for work. When I asked for a refund on her incorrect meal, I was told they couldn't refund it "because she left." When I asked to leave written feedback: "we don't accept written feedback." Manager? Not in. Manager's phone number? Don't have it. But here's what pushed this from bad service to abominable: there is no way to hold this place accountable. At no point did anyone acknowledge a mistake had been made or make any real attempt to fix it- every wrong order was met with a shrug and the expectation that I'd just live with it. When I asked to leave written feedback, I was told they don't accept it. When I asked for the manager, they weren't in. When I asked for a manager's phone number or someone to contact, the employee "didn't have access to that." A business that serves people with food allergies MUST have a way for customers to flag problems in real time and reach management. This place has built a system where mistakes can't be reported, refunds can't be issued, and no one is responsible for anything. To be clear, this isn't on the line staff - one employee clearly hadn't been given the language support or training to succeed, and that's a management failure. The other younger employee was just incompetent and unhelpful, even though she was clearly aware of the requests. If you advertise allergen accommodations, you have to execute them, label them, and answer for it when you don't. Until this place fixes its ordering system, its labeling, and its total lack of accountability, spend your money literally anywhere else.

Bare with me, this is an extensive review: In short: Go here if you don't know anything about coffee, like to take picture for FB/IG and someone who thinks that a $5 drink means loitering around a coffee shop for hours and complains about not having enough outlets here or wifi. It's more for a social gathering/family than study. No coffee shop is for studying. I've been to both the Chino and this location. Environment: 2/5 It took them two years to build this which means they probably had some issues as they built this from the ground up. Spacious and beautiful patio area to hang out. The decor is totally forced Instagram worthy. 5-6 different floor tiles, a wall with Warby Parker like glasses inscribed (REALLY?), electric chandelier, the most annoying thing about this place is that they intentionally did not have outlets available. They built it from the ground up so they could've but I understand. As a business, this is smart as people solicit and sit around for hours and freeload off wifi. Wifi and outlets are complimentary so these people saying that they need more or better wifi, please take a seat on the entitlement generation section please. Dripp and every other coffee spot does not owe you anything other than the cup of coffee (why do you think they charge so much? Because they know you'll have coffee dates and lounge around taking up space). Dripp and every other coffee shop from here to Mt. Kalamazoo is not a free public library, get off your horses. You guys have libraries on your college campus' and Fullerton College for a reason. My grip is more the fact that there could be more seating rather than a clutter fest of eclectic objects in the way . The deer/goat taxidermy reminds me of Four Barrel in SF, but FB has an urban industrial feel and doesn't look like someone who couldn't decide on what hipster trend should be in what corner. 5/5 if you're into Instagram worthy shots and being basic. Service: 3/5 It's new, they take quite a bit of time making the drinks. This is expected but then everything here is automatic other than the latte art, hence I don't understand why it takes so long other than the fact that there are a lot of customers. Took my drink 20 minutes. I'd understand if it was a specialty coffee shop, but let's be honest here. If you're a Portola, Blue Bottle, Stumptown, even Heart pulls shots manually. Heart will be explained in a bit. Drinks: 1/5 They have some pretty toys. From what I observed, it's similar to having a nice car and driving automatic. From drip black coffee, to espresso shots being pulled, all automatic. Everything is with the press of the button. Drip: Automatic. Heart in PDX has an automatic but at least theirs has a bloom. This location does not. It just drips. If you're into coffee, you already know what this means. Taste: Good for people who don't drink coffee because it's smooth and doesn't have the "bitter" taste. Bad for those who drink coffee black via Kalita, V60, even chemed and aeropress- but don't take my word for it. I believe their beans are dark roast. My drip was ok, not breaking the "average" as there were no profile notes. I preferred this location in terms of drip (which is made by hand the last time I was there and tasted like watered down Starbucks) Latte: Taste is subjective but latte's typically is agreed upon that it should not be scorching hot. It should be the perfect temperature of the hot espresso being pulled and the milk being froth. Mine was ok, nothing to write home about and the latte art (which I think is stupid) looks like there are only a few who can do it and the others are ok. To me, as long as the drink is good, I don't care for the art. I don't take pictures of my drink nor care to show how pretty it is. Espresso: The only manual thing is the tampering. Specialty coffee shop focuses really on coffee. This is a great spot to hang out. Lovely patio, and it's an alternative to Starbucks, but it's more dessert place that serves coffee. I personally think it got lucky in Chino Hills being in the spot it was within the outdoor mall hence foot traffic. Portola is in a weird OC Mix area and people still venture out for their coffee. Do you see Four Barrel, Stumptown, Blue Bottle or any other speciality coffee shop selling anything other than a simple coffee menu and some pastries. Ice cream would only be with espresso for an affogato. I didn't try the Nitro coffee brew nor I ever will. It's creative and huge but it sounds like wine being nitro. Not my thing. There are other coffee shops in the area and further west that you can go to. read more

I've been a loyal fan of Dripp for over a decade, constantly recommending this spot to everyone I know. Today, I specifically scheduled a business meeting here just for their fresh-squeezed orange juice. Safe to say, I won't be coming back, and I'll definitely stop recommending it. I asked for no ice, remembering a previous positive experience where the staff kindly filled the cup. This time, the cup was barely full. When I politely asked if it could be filled up, the female staff member - pale complexion, short hair, wearing thick black-rimmed glasses - responded with such unprovoked aggression and a total lack of customer service. She snapped a cold "No," basically telling me that since I asked for no ice, I should just take what's given. When I mentioned that it was filled up last time, she said, "Then she did it wrong," while glaring at me with the most condescending and disrespectful look I've ever received at a cafe. It wasn't just a refusal; it was a stare down meant to belittle me. Look, if the shop policy has changed, just explain it like a professional. There's no need for the attitude, the hostile energy, or that judgmental glare. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The irony? Right in the middle of my meeting, I saw another staff member clocking out with a cup of orange juice filled right to the brim. The double standard was the cherry on top of a terrible experience. With so many new coffee shops popping up these days, there's zero reason to pay to be treated this way. Dripp used to be a vibe, but with staff like that, it's just a skip for me now. Do better. I own a business down the street from dripp and place pickup orders for coffee regularly, at least 4 to 5 times a week for our employees. For some reason though it seems every 3 or so days, Dripp doesn't do pickup orders. I got told we only do pickup when its slow. I guess they only want our money when they feel like it? What kind of business only takes orders when business is slow? I love the coffee but the service is lacking, obviously they take pickup orders if I'm placing them throughout the week in the morning and late at night. For some reason their employees play by their own rules? Luke and Abby both declined our business, while everyone else that answers has no issue taking our orders regularly... We are super annoyed to say the least... we phone in and order ahead everywhere else, including Dripp all the time. I guess expect a 50/50 answer when you call in, depends if they feel like it... terrible customer service from a few employees, but great coffee. Manager needs to have a word with the employees. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told to call back later, no manager is in til 3pm... employees don't know if they can take a pickup order or not, so they choose to decline us. Dripp is a great place to co-work or study; not only do they have a pretty good wifi signal, there's plenty of seats inside and out regardless of the weather situation. It must be said... their aesthetic is gorgeous and I wish I could steal their floors for the house. Lots of wood and colorful geometric patterns - perfect for capturing those coffee photos with your shoes in the background. For drinks, I always go for their regular lattes with almond milk and have had no complaints. The espresso is rich and smokey and doesn't get lost in the liquid it's poured into. But if you're not into bold coffee flavors, you prob need to add some sugar or syrup to the mix to make it more palatable - otherwise, leave it be! The chai is another favorite if I'm enjoying caffeine midday. The pastry selection is beautiful and on this last visit we indulged on all four flavors of cookies they were offering. Favorites were the chocolate chunk and Cornflake toffee - but what made all of them even better was the barista offered to warm them up. #YASSSSS. I like their spanish latte (cold), because mmm sweet sugary coffee drinks are my weakness! And the bozo (icecream with a turkish shot poured over it...OMG MUST TRY!) I also had to indulge and get an icecream sandwich; sorry diet, but totally worth it. My friend got some iced tea, unsweetened tho. So doesn't drink coffee, so it's a good thing they serve other stuff besides the liquid gold. She also got a vegan dessert. I tried it, i was surprised that vegan desserts could taste good. I didn't care to be on my phone while i was with my friend, so i didn't test out the wifi, but i saw others on it. I read a review that said they don't have a lot of outlets. Is that a surprise to people still? It's a business and they need to make room for in coming customers, not someone who wants to stay there for 4 hours taking up a spot where i can sit and enjoy a cold bev with my friends. Dripp was one of the most stylish and cozy coffee shops I have ever visited. I went there with someone and saw a lot of teenagers studying, talking, and taking pictures of their drinks. The atmosphere felt modern and artistic, with soft lighting and creative decor that made the whole place feel inspiring. The service was friendly and quick, which teenagers would appreciate when they want something tasty without waiting too long. Not anymore though! The employees are completely rude! I wanted to sit outside and wait for my friends and it had rained the night before so the tables were wet! I asked someone if I could borrow a rag to wipe down my table and he said he could but only if I bought something! I said okay but I'm waiting on my friends! You can tell everything is thoughtfully handcrafted with high-quality ingredients--it really shows in the flavors. This place is excellent. They source the coffee direct. They roast locally. They are organic and non-gmo certified and the staff is amazingly nice. Every time I've gone in they've been helping and friendly. The coffee and the espresso based beverages are all excellent and well made. The baristas are very well informed and I love the variations of products they have on the menu. Many things you can't find anywhere else. Morning and Mid-days are the best time to come in. It's packed in the afternoons and evenings at both locations. They have great promos such as Donut Tuesday's and Happy Hour on Tuesday between 10-12pm.
