I'm constantly on the lookout for new cafes in the OC area, and I'm so glad I came across Dripp on Yelp! I would give more stars if I could. Dripp is located in the downtown Fullerton area near Fullerton College. Parking wasn't a problem since there is a lot adjacent to the coffee shop. Once I stepped into the shop, I was in awe of how gorgeous the interior was! They also have a courtyard with plenty of seating outside. I ordered an iced Spanish Latte, which wasn't too sweet and also had a wonderful mix of cinnamon. I'd definitely order it if you're a fan of cinnamon and looking for something rich and creamy in taste. I won't be coming back after my first visit. The location is beautiful. Not just the courtyard but the actual coffee shop itself is beautifully decorated and is a great place to hang out. The service is unremarkable. The food. Ugh. Don't come here hungry. I ordered the biscuit breakfast sandwich. They refrigerate it and then heat it in a countertop toaster. It was served scalding on the edges and cold in the middle. Not good. I also ordered a cinnamon bun. The cashier asked me if I'd like it heated. Americano is my usual go to drink at Dripp for its consistent mild yet flavorful taste for Americano. For some odd reason, it tasted a bit too watery in the front and the end today and I brought it up to the baristas attention. One of the baristas, however, reminded me how americano is made (which I am well aware of) and made it sound like as if I was expected to taste the water which I have never experienced here before. I have been frequenting this place for its consistency, and hearing that from her was a bit disappointing. However, she was nice enough to accept my request to replace Americano with Ethiopian. One disappointing experience won't stop me from coming here. My friend in Chino raved about this place for several months and when they finally put a location in Downtown Fullerton, I finally decided it was worth checking out. I tried them right after they opened and my first impression was that the coffee is good, the demographic is hip and the space is large, relaxed and dark. I don't mind dark spaces and I'm pretty tired of new identical coffee places with the stark white walls with plants and wood accents and a menú you can't read. While they gave a good first impression, I like to see what it turns into after months and years of being in business. Well ... here goes nothing! So I have stopped by this location a handful of times over the last few years. Sadly, not because of their drinks per se but because of the ambiance. I know, I know. I'm a sucker for interior décor. SIDE NOTE: I like to try something new every time I come here - just in case, something wow's me. This time I tried their Madame Jasmine Green Tea and alas, another mediocre tea blend. To be honest, I did not taste any hints of jasmine and the green tea didn't give me the buzz that I needed. (caffeine buzz, that is). The cashier was so kind and my tea came out pretty promptly. The barista handed me my tea in less than two minutes of ordering! Like holy cow, is that awesome service. It took 20 minutes to get a latte and it was not even good. I have wanted to try this place for a while. The decor inside and the patio looks great. There is a lot of space. Most of the space is occupied by people studying or on their laptops. When we arrived, no one was in line ordering. I ordered the Bru Bru Latte and pastries for my kids (at 10am they were out of a lot of things). It took about 5 minutes to get the pastries and 20 minutes to get the latte. I only know the time because I compared it to the time Dripp sent a "join our rewards" message after I paid with Apple Pay. We had wanted to sit outside but we had to wait inside for the latte. I wanted to enjoy my coffee while the kids had their treats but that couldn't happen with the long wait. Even though no one had been in line in front of us, it turns out the majority of the people sitting were all waiting for drinks. Each time the barista called a name someone popped up from a different table. After I got my latte, we left and I tried it in the car. It was gross. It had subtle fruity notes. I enjoy all types of coffee- black coffee to sweet coffee drinks. This was just gross. It kind of had a coffee flavor but with a fruity, sweet toffee flavor that all clashed. I really wanted to like this place. It seemed like a beautiful place to enjoy a treat or drink. 20 minutes is too long for a drink so I do not want to go back and try something different. This place is probably good if you want to sit a study or get work done for a couple of hours. If it's a nice day out, the patio is a perfect place to hang out, get some work done, or just chat and hang out with some good friends. I definitely dig the overall vibe of the place, and the workers are all friendly and helpful. I ordered the Ravens dark roast coffee, and they brew each cup fresh. It can take a little while, but the fresh tasting coffee is sure worth it! If you have the coffee there, they give you a cute mug with a small carafe on the side. It actually amounts to quite a bit of coffee, which I'd never say no to. I also got the almond croissant, which had a nice flaky, crispy crust and delicious almond filling inside. It went very well with my dark coffee. They have quite a selection of other pastries, so I'll have to try some of their other stuff next time. There are plenty of tables where you see people on their laptops or studying. I brought my laptop, and the wifi was pretty decent. I was able to be productive - the environment is lively with good background music, but it's not so loud that you can't concentrate. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been upset with having a plain, single-note, burnt flavor in my mouth. Aesthetics are nice, but that's not what I look for when I want good coffee. Coffee isn't just coffee; it's an experience for your taste buds, to say the least. Maybe it's because I've been disappointed with a lot of establishments, but I didn't have high expectations from Dripp. How could I? It just seemed like your average coffee shop, but I was proven wrong. I ordered a single-origin Columbian bean for a pour-over, and it was exceptional. $8.50 is a high price, but I will gladly pay for it again. There's free WiFi and bathrooms were open. We went on a Sunday so it was pretty packed but thankfully the tables were pretty well distanced. I got the vanilla latte and it didn't taste as good as I remembered. There wasn't a strong vanilla flavor and it tasted like it was sweetened by sugar packets which I'm not a huge fan of. Every coffee shop has its own character and uniqueness and that is what I love about going to different coffee shops. Except the chain ones that there is nothing special about them except being convenient, every coffee shop has a story to tell through the coffee that they serve, their coffee art or through their ambiance. Out of allllllllll the coffee shops that I have visited (and I have visited a few), dripp serves something that I have never come across at other coffee shops in the US and that is their TURKISH LATTE..... I might be biased because I am in love with Turkish anything, but this drink took me back to my vacation days in Istanbul and Antalya where I would have Turkish coffee everyday, 3 times a day for 10 days.... I am not sure how Dripp came up with this amazing idea of preparing this drink soooo perfectly but OMG it is so amazing that I am willing to drive 35 mins from home while ignoring 400 starbucks locations, 100 peets coffee locations and 50 coffee beans locations. read more

The interior is well decorated; from book walls to brick walls and colorfully accented tiles, I adore the laid back and hip aesthetic atmosphere. Inside, they have tables, bar stools, and comfy couches- so you can pick whatever you prefer. Lots of seating outside on the patio. They close at midnight, so it's definitely a good place for studying as they do have free WiFi. I got their espresso ice cream, which I liked. Dripp is finally here in Fullerton and it is one of the best go to coffee spots to enjoy and relax in. The inside is super cute and don't have to worry about parking because they do have a free lot right behind the store. I have been here a few times in the morning and most of the time the couches are already filled. But I do like to sit on these high chairs that are made of wood. Don't worry if you don't like regular milk due to it having dairy they have dairy free options such as soy which I have used here and it taste pretty good. What I've ordered here is their lavender latte and also a rose latte. Both are super pretty for pictures and they also taste super good.
