Last week, I purchased a phone case from here. Within minutes of purchase, I got in my car and attempted to put the case on my $400 phone. The case snapped so tightly in the phone, the phone cracked and broke. Disheartened I went back in to return the case. The owner, a small Asian woman, pointed to the sign and said no refunds. My issue wasn't with the fact that I didn't see the sign. I can accept that. My issue was with the fact that it was literally 8 minutes from the time of purchase, and when I politely advised her, she walked around the counter and past me without acknowledging my existence as a human. She literally left the store. No. O wasn't belligerent. I did not raise my voice or become confrontational. I stood in shock at her callousness and disregard. Her assistant told me, the case must be assembled in a special way and proceeded to demonstrate why he thought it broke the phone. There are no instructions on the case. It destroyed my phone. She refused to acknowledge my presence. She patently and blatantly disrespected me. I had never been more humiliated. Her assistant offered store credit, apologizing profusely for her behavior. My attorney advised that they cannot hide behind a "no refund" sign while selling products that damage property and come without instruction. It's not just the poor product. It's the blatant disrespect that hurts most. If you've experienced the same, comment and join the lawsuit. read more
