Edwyn A.

This was my first time to get a pedicure and luckily they were on class pass and i had some expiring credits so i opted for the volcano pedicure. I was very impressed by the service. I checked into the counter and was taken to my seat. The seat has all kind of options of recline which i used. I was asked what kind of drink I wanted and opted for coke. The wait wasn't too bad and i my feet got treated so well. The calluses and all of the gross toenails were gone and my feet actually looked nice. As i booked this service through ClassPass and men's feet are more work, i made sure to tip well and am looking forward to do a headbath and regularly do my pedicures here.

Xgel mani with Argentine design because the world cup. Jenny did and excellent job. Just show her a photo she did the magic. Love the place. The only thing is the music and videos( animals with external awful music. You have to change it pleaseeeeee

Crooked application of acrylic nail that took hours to do. Clearly didn't know what they were doing. Charged $90.

My appointment started at 11:30 and I walked out at 3pm. They took forever and charged me $90 for just this acrylic set and these were their results. Save your money and go literally anywhere else in Austin. This place was awful.

Absolutely LOVE my pedicure from Lauriann ! She was so friendly, fun, & professional. I have (* ehem ), some difficult areas and she fixed me right up ! She's my go -to from now on

I'm lost for words, I literally wanted to tear up because after moving from California I could not find the right nail shop for anything. Finally, I found a place that cares about quality and service and does just about everything here. My Valentine's Day was made complete because of these wonderful ladies and gentlemen here. I was able to put my trust in them and they definitely delivered, the prices are incredible and the quality is even better. They deserve every dollar and dime that you give them here. I can't wait to continue to come back and continue to get services here. If you're looking for the right place. You found it, Ditch. The terrible service wherever you are and know that there is a place like this waiting on you.

I've been coming to Dream Spa now for several years since moving to Austin so am overdue on writing this review, but my most recent experience reminded me of why they're so great! I wash my hands a lot as a healthcare worker, so my cuticles can become a dry mess, but the team at Dream Spa always leaves them looking great! More recently, I made the switch from gel manicures to dip because it holds up much better to my constant handwashing. After my initial dip manicure, the topcoat was acting funny and started peeling off within a few days. I walked in to show them, and was quickly seated, topcoat re-done, no questions asked. This pic is now two weeks out from the manicure (which is why my nails are grown out a bit, and my cuticles starting to act up a bit again), about a week and a half from the topcoat being fixed, and I'm still getting compliments!

Got hard gel full set from Faith. Omg absolutely amazing!! From walking in the door to leaving service was great. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. Faith delivered! I added a little of my own flare but dang!

We had the best day. Unfortunately we can't remember the name of the gentleman who took care of Linc, but he was great. Phillipe maybe? So sorry. We just cannot remember. But he was great. Kept conversation and did a great job. We will def make the drive down from liberty hill and come back!

Pamper Me Pedi with Gel Polish not cut down- Nancy

Ashlee W.

Saturday, February 28, 2026 - 11:30AM appointment: this was my first time visiting Dream Spa after years of driving by. My husband and I LOVE the service, atmosphere, and quality of the work. We received 2 "Pamper Me" Pedi's (one with gel polish), and 1 basic manicure. Drinks offered at the time: mimosas, sodas, coffee, tea, and water. NANCY AND JENNY WERE AMAZING! Dream Spa is also affordable. Thank you all for making this day a special birthday!

UPDATE: Ashley, the owner, reached out to me personally to apologize and make things right. She was very kind, understanding, and responsive, and she offered credit for both the gel manicure and brow wax. She also assured me she would speak with the staff member so this doesn't happen again. I really appreciate how thoughtfully and professionally she handled everything. I'm a regular customer at Dream Spa, which is why this review is disappointing to write. I came in yesterday after a long day working at the hospital, really needing some relaxation and self care. I booked a pedicure, gel manicure, and eyebrow wax. The pedicure was great, the technician was amazing, very sweet, and did a wonderful job. That part of the visit was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, the rest of my services felt extremely rushed and far below what I've experienced here before. The technician who did my gel manicure and eyebrows didn't speak at all and moved so quickly that the quality really suffered. I had to ask her to fix multiple spots on my nails, and even after that, they still don't look good. The polish is uneven (some nails are lighter and others darker), there was leftover gel underneath my nails, and they honestly look like they're already growing out- even though I literally just had them done yesterday. The manicure itself felt incomplete. She only applied lotion and did a very quick massage on one hand only (maybe 10 seconds) and didn't even bother with the other hand. My eyebrow wax was also rushed she didn't even wax the middle between my brows, which I didn't notice until I got home. I came in hoping to unwind after work, but instead I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I've had good experiences here before, so I hope this feedback is taken seriously. I would come back for a pedicure, but I'd only feel comfortable booking other services if I could request a different technician.

I had such a great experience here! I booked my appointment online and appreciated the easy scheduling plus the multiple reminders. Nancy did my nails and she was amazing -- she helped me pick colors based on a photo I brought in, and she was both efficient and incredibly skilled. I absolutely love how my nails turned out. Highly recommend!

My friend and I booked pedicures here day-of. It's located next to Kome, so we've driven by it many times but have never stopped in. So glad we did! There was a party checking out when we walked in, so we waited a few minutes and then checked in. We were immediately seated and serviced. The salon employees sat us together, we picked our colors, and they got to work. They removed the existing polish quickly, and the whole gel pedicure took a little less than an hour. They turned out great! Also, there is plenty of free parking out front, which is always nice. I'll be back!

Found this place on ClassPass and saw good reviews. I decided to get my birthday nail set here (gel full set) and I walked out unsatisfied. I had 2 cuts on different fingers and each nail is shaped differently. I asked for almond but it looked more like thick ovals. I wanted a design on my ring finger since I got a simple color and the lady recommended chrome, she had to redo it a few times but it still looked messy in the end. Although the workers were nice, I wouldn't come back :(

The guy who did my nails cut me within the first 5 seconds of starting on my nails. I told him to please be gentle since I don't like being cut and he says well we don't do it on purpose which I understand but I shouldn't be on edge at a nail salon scared I'm going to be cut. Also I feel like my nails were rushed and not the quality I wanted plus they are already in need of a refill when my usual set last way longer. Won't be returning. read more

Easy check-in. The salon is quite big with lots of stations. The place feels new. Free WiFi available (information is on the bottom of the pedicure menu). Overprice for average work (pedicure starting at $30). Will charge for little thing that other places do not ($5 for matte top coat instead of regular). Not a fan. read more

Ugh I'm sad I have to make this review because I've enjoyed coming here up until this moment. I came in and asked to get my nails and toes done, I was told the wait would be a little bit so I waited and then they took me to go get my nails done first. After they were done I asked about my pedicure that I had already put my name down and waited for the service, I was told I'd have to wait another 30 min for me to get my pedicure behind other people on the list even though I had already waited and put my name on the list. I had tried to explain to them I had already waited and that they had told me the wait wouldn't be long for it when I got there (an hour before)... I felt my time was disrespected as a customer who came in and already waited my turn. This was a disappointing experience, and I wasn't able to get the pedicure I came in for... no one should be asked to be at the nails salon 3+ hours because of a mistake they made on their list of people waiting for services. So I'll sadly be rocking ugly toes for the holiday... love that. read more

We go here all the time and I have never had such a poor experience. Not only did they start our nails over half hour past our appointment but the lady was in such a rush she barely even cut my cuticles, or applied any oil, I had to ask her. The nails came out mediocre at best. They're usually pretty good but today was a bad day. Don't overbook that way you can take your time with your clients to ensure a quality manicure. read more

I wish we had a nail salon like this in San Marcos. I love the music; it is so relaxing. I also like that the TV was on without sound and was only showing videos of cute puppies, bears, and other animals. So many salons have the TVs playing bad TV really loud. It is not relaxing at all to listen to true crime, bad movies, and really any TV show. I try to go to Dream Spa whenever I am in Austin. Every technician I have had has been good. Today was Alec and he did a wonderful job. read more

Not upset just disappointed. I called here on my birthday after seeing the glowing reviews here on yelp. Despite there not being many reviews, I was willing to give it a shot. I had only one thing I wanted for myself for my birthday, and that was color-change aka "mood" nails similar to some I had gotten in the past. On the phone they said they had that in regular polish and dip powder, but a last-minute appointment was only available for the regular. They did try to upsell me on the gel options, which I was interested in if they had any really special things like the mood nails, but when I got there and saw the options I was only interested in the mood nails. My very kind friend had agreed to not only go with me, but also purchase mood nails at her own cost just to hang out. The service was nice, and though we weren't offered any of the fancy drinks mentioned in the previous reviews, I was very happy with everything. After we left, though, we tried everything to get our nails to change color. I put mine on ice packs and under running hot/cold water, etc. Finally we decided that we must have misunderstood and they must be UV-sensitive nails that change in the sun. Today I expermented again with all sorts of light options and again with cold and hot ones. Finally, I called the salon. The person on the phone matter-of-factly informed me that what we had received were mood nails. She also said that that means they only change with my body temperature and not with other hot/cold changes (based on my prior use of mood nails, this is not how it works, but that wasn't the issue). I informed her that it had been almost 24 hours by that point and no color change had been identified at all, and additionally advised that perhaps they should do a check of the polishes. I'm not sure what I expected, but she said (paraphrased) "Ok, thank you, sorry it didn't come out like you wanted" and ended the conversation. I messaged my friend and asked if the color had changed yet for her in the last day - she had got a different mood polish color than I had. Nope. Hers never changed, either. I apologized for potentially wasting her money, since I was the one who found the place and took us out. I'm sad that I didn't get the one thing I wanted to be nice for my birthday but there are bigger problems in the world, I suppose! Fair warning about the color change polishes for everyone else, though :) Editing to add info based on the response from owner: -"upsell" was not intended as a negative term, although I can see that the owner might think it is - but I did say in my review that I was potentially interested in the upsell, they just didn't end up having colors I wanted. I wasn't put off by the attempt at upselling; it was merely a fact that occurred. -I never said we weren't offered drinks. We were offered water, coke, or wine. What I said was that we weren't offered the "fancy drinks" mentioned in other reviews - and we weren't. I asked if anything else was available, just in case, because I was a bit curious based on the reviews, and I was told no. We both had a water. I'm starting to think the owner is not really reading or perhaps even purposely misinterpreting everything I write. -The biggest point: the nails never changed color. I had them for almost a week, until they were chipping, and they never changed even a little. My friend's color didn't either, and hers was supposed to be a much more obvious change. Even mine - which was supposed to go from periwinkle to dark grey - should have shown up. As I mentioned before, I have got almost this exact color in color change before, and I could see it on the first day I got it. I have a saved snap of me changing the color on that one by running my hand under hot water (I got that one in winter) which I can upload somewhere if necessary to prove/explain to this owner how it should look and how it works. But I have the impression they aren't really interested in making things right. They've succeeded with their reply in making me trust them less (and become more frustrated). That's too bad, as I'm generally pretty easy to win back and keep as a repeat customer if you don't go out of your way to lose me... read more

I will say this place is usually great. I have had countless enjoyable pedicures here. I figured I would have an equally nice experience with a dip manicure. I was wrong. The employee doing my manicure was very rough. The dip on my nails could not be thicker and it is very uneven. Also had a lot of powder and glue all over my fingers and when I asked if it could be removed I got an eye roll. They do have a lot of colors to choose from so if you had a nail tech who was better I can see the appeal of returning. Long review short just get a pedicure here and go somewhere else for manicures. read more

If I could give place a zero star I would. Went in here looking to get a pedicure with a friend. I'd been there a week earlier and had gotten a gel pedicure. So I asked the African American attendant to only do a basic pedicure without repainting my toes. She proceeded to scrap my toe polish off which I had mentioned not to because it was a week fresh paint job. She then got upset and Rude implied that I hadn't explained that to her. I let her rant on and did not respond. Needless to say I won't be returning. I don't condone rude employees and I'd rather spend my money where I'm not patronized . My new nail salon! I've been bouncing around salons and found service elsewhere to be rushed or locations too loud and busy (I like a mani-pedi to be a time to relax a bit). Well, Dream Spa tics all the boxes: quiet, large, and tranquil. Anatasia has done my nails twice and she's very talented - my nails look perfect and like I got gel although I do regular polish. Zen did my pedicure this time and it was one of the best massages I've had at a nail salon - I got the Pamper Me pedi. Dream Spa is a great new spot and it seems like employees are happy working there, which is important. Sit back, relax, get beautiful nails, and tip well! read more

And eyebrows really ground your face so you want to go to someplace that you can trust. My nephew Leo, asked one of his friends for a recommendation because she has amazing eyebrows and she recommended All-Star eyebrows ready. She warned him to warn me that the area is a little sketchy, but your eyebrows will look amazing. I'm glad that I talked to him first before finding this place on Yelp because if I saw the outside, I would turn around in this case, I trusted my nephew's friend, and I sat in and waited my turn. Both chairs were occupied by women getting their eyebrows done by the time it was my turn. It only took two minutes and $12 later my eyebrows look so good in San Francisco. I would have to pay so much more for my eyebrows this good. I guess I found a new eyebrow place in Austin. You don't need to go to a fancy place, but a place where the outcome is going to be better than you thought is totally worth it.

Pedicure = Five stars Manicure = One star I'm rounding down to two stars for total disappointment and blowing me off. I decided to try Dream Spa because my regular salon had a wait. Dream Spa had good reviews and is near my neighborhood, so I gave them a call. On a Sunday afternoon, they were able to schedule an appointment for a manicure and pedicure within 30 minutes. It was off to a great start! When I walked in, I was impressed. It's clean, spacious, and serene. The color selection was extensive. They had the Great British Bakeoff on the TVs during my pedicure, which was awesome. I went with the "pamper" pedicure, and it was good. I didn't catch the name of the technician who did my pedicure, but she was nice and helpful. I loved my pedicure. If I had left after my pedicure, my review would be five stars. I *never* get nail art, but decided to get some for fun. I showed Amy an image I found on Instagram when I arrived. She said, yes, they could do that. Amanda did my manicure and I was hopeful at first. She seemed nice and capable. It soon became apparent that she was way too distracted. She kept getting up and doing other things, then coming back to my nails. She was answering the phone, giving directions to other technicians, greeting visitors, etc. I was fine with the distraction and rushed nature until she started painting the colors for my gel manicure. I noticed on the first finger that she was painting the wrong finger, according to the image. She was painting blue on my right ring finger and the picture had blue on the left ring finger. I tried to point it out by saying, "I think that's supposed to go on this finger," and wiggled my left ring finger. She totally blew me off. She told me "the order doesn't matter for the design" and continued painting on my right hand. She then painted burgundy on my left pointer finger when it's on the right pointer finger in the image. She kept saying the order didn't matter and that we didn't know which hand was which in the image. Yes, I know a left hand from a right hand, and there is a wedding ring on the left hand in the image. When she got to my third finger, she painted it with the wrong color, a color that we had considered and decided against. She held it up to me and asked if it was ok. I asked "What about this one?" and pointed to the correct color we had agreed upon. She said, "Oh yeah, that's the one we were going to use." She WIPED OFF the wrong color with her finger and painted over it with the correct color. I think it was obvious that I was totally unimpressed and disappointed at that point, so she finally said, "If you want, I can redo the first two." Why didn't she offer that immediately when I pointed it out on the first finger instead of blowing me off? After watching her just wipe off the wrong color on my third finger, I was skeptical that she would suddenly show any kind of care in redoing the other wrong nails. I believe it was a half-hearted offer because there were now at least six people waiting for services. It was clear she was trying to rush through as quickly as possible. I declined because my experience couldn't be salvaged and I just wanted it to be over and get out of there. As I left, Amy asked me if everything was ok. It was awkward because Amanda was within earshot, so I said, "Sort of. This is the exact opposite of what I asked for, even though she offered to redo some." Amy didn't say anything. After I left as quickly as I could, I started looking more closely at my nails. I found more evidence of distraction and rushing through - three big spots of paint on my fingers, remnants from the color I had on when I arrived, uneven color on the front edges, and uneven sides. It was a waste of $44 and made me sad that I tried a new place. I can't recommend a nail salon that blows me off by saying "the order doesn't matter for the design" when you show them a picture for nail art. The order and design are actually the whole point. The lady at the station next to me loved her manicure with Amy. She said it was the best manicure she had ever had in her life. I wish I had that experience. Perhaps Amy would have listened to me and followed the picture I provided. Edit to respond to the owner's comments: - I spoke up AS SOON AS Amanda started painting the blue color, to give her the opportunity to correct it. It was still wet; I didn't wait until the color was cured. Instead of listening to me, Amanda told me that "the order doesn't matter for the design" and kept painting. - The owner said they can't read minds. I didn't expect them to, which is why I didn't "stay silent." I SPOKE UP and "softly communicated" that it should be the other hand. Amanda chose not to listen to me and told me repeatedly that "the order doesn't matter for the design." - The owner is correct that I was frustrated that Amanda didn't listen to me or apologize and only finally offered to correct the design after three mistakes. read more

This spa is a dream! My feet were looking like a hot mess so I made a reservation over the phone for the Pamper Me pedicure for same day. The staff is very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the correct white polish I wanted for my toes- the reservationist even made me a mojito with crushed berries, fresh mint, and lime as I waited! The pedicure itself was perfect, they have classic massage seats and multiple flatscreen TVs all in the pedicure room. My only regret is forgetting my nail therapists name, her leg massage made me fall asleep for a few minutes half way through (yes, the pedicure was THAT good!). I used to go to Great Nails at Mueller or Bleu Canvas on SoCo, but since this spa is so close to me it's now my new go-to. Very clean and spacious, would highly recommend! read more

I went to Dreamspa because it was close by and had great reviews and photos. I'm leaving this review because it was so much above and beyond my expectations, and the team there was so kind and sweet! The unassuming exterior conceals an adorable, clean, whimsically decorated space inside that's way bigger than you'd think. Lee did my manicure, a full acrylic set with hard gel ombré, and she gave me the CUTEST girly design. I couldn't be happier with how she ran with my inspo and made it her own. She and the esthetician even helped me take a couple pics. Lastly, the price was surprisingly affordable. I didn't want or need the hand massage and all that, so it was fantastic to just pay for what I wanted. Highly recommend. read more

It was, without question, the roughest waxing experience I've ever had. During the service, Thuy the "cosmetologist" got wax all over my neck and onto my hoodie. Instead of removing the wax from my face promptly, she spent a significant amount of time trying to clean my hoodie, allowing the wax on my face to harden. When I left, I still had wax on my neck and clothing. I'm not someone who usually complains, so I went home. Once I got there, I noticed several marks on my face. Initially, I thought they were burns, so I called the salon. They apologized, told me they would issue a refund, and said a manager would call me back. That call never came. The next day, I returned because I was genuinely worried my face might scar. Instead of showing concern, the receptionist became defensive and told me, "It's not a burn because your face would be red. She ripped the skin off your face." I'm not sure how that was supposed to make the situation better. At that point, I requested a refund for the facial waxing and compensation for my damaged hoodie. They refused to do anything beyond saying they would "look into it." I also asked to see the cosmetology license. After looking up the license number myself, I found it was registered to a barber shop in Frisco, Texas, which raised additional concerns for me. Two weeks later I still have no refund, despite multiple phone calls and repeated promises that someone would "call me back urgently," I have still not received the refund I was promised.

Was looking for a new nail salon and specifically for one with high hygiene standards. Made a same…read moreday appointment and there was street parking free for 2 hours. Greeted upon entry and appointment confirmed. Picked the color for a pedicure and they had the chair prepared by the time I was done. Water temp was perfect and got a Vietnamese coffee. The pedi did start after the appointment time by ten minutes or so. Overall the pedicure was pretty standard. Nothing to highlight. Later that evening I noticed a small cut on one toe when moving my feet. So, not sure if I'd be back as that def can lead to more issues. Thankfully everything is ok.

I get mani/pedi here and they do an amazing job every time. It's clean and friendly. Easy parking!read more

TLDR: One of the best nail experiences i've ever had!! Great staff, a lovely experience, and…read moreamazing results! Explanation: Started with calling for a day-of appointment for 2 acrylic fills and they were able to schedule us no problem. The owner had me send the design we wanted ahead of the appointment so he could tell me the cost and how long it would take- LOVE the transparency! Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the owner and the clean, organized salon. We were offered drinks from their complimentary drink menu, which ranged from matcha to cocktails. After we chose our colors from their large array of options, we waited a bit before getting sat down, one at a time. My nail tech was precise, artistic, deliberate, and followed my inspo pic to perfection. She took great care making sure i liked each step, and upon taking creative liberties (there was no picture of the thumb), she executed perfect decisions. I love the shape, the attention to detail, and the colors! My friend's nail tech did the same for her- perfecting exactly what she wanted based off the picture and just from verbal instruction. I've never felt more welcomed in any nail salon like this before. I bonded with the owner for the full 2 hours i was there, talking about things from moving to austin to my job to our past lives in the bay area. He was working the entire time walking around asking the girls if they needed anything, cleaning each station, etc. It was hard and consistent work. The only not-so-great things: 1. The amount of time our nails took was quite a journey. We were there 2.5 hours. Granted, the nail process started late (25 min after our scheduled time) and i ended up waiting for my friend to finish hers as well, so im sure that attributed to the duration of the appointment. 2. There might have been a language barrier between my friend and her nail tech because she got charged extra for taking off her acrylics and doing builder gel when our appt was for an acrylic refill. I'm not sure what happened there but i'm sure it wasn't with mal intent. Overall, i'm more than happy with the great service, stellar professionalism, and beautiful end result. I will be back!!

He did a super quick rush job, with no cuticle care and NO lotion, etc. When he was doing the polish, it kept bubbling so I asked for a different color. He did, but also did a few deep sighs. The manicure literally lasted only 2 full days before 3 of my nails were chipped. It's a cute place, but I won't be going back. I've been coming to Envy Nails for quite a while and have had several different services here over…read morethe years. My experiences have generally been positive, which is why today's visit was so disappointing. I came in for a fill with cat eye polish and was charged $72. I've had this exact same service here before and have never paid anywhere near that amount. I didn't think to ask the price beforehand because I assumed it would be consistent with what I'd paid in the past. On a positive note, my pedicure was great, and I was happy with that service & price. The biggest issue was the lack of pricing transparency! The unexpected charge left me feeling like the price was arbitrary, and it completely changed my experience. Because I was so disappointed with the unexpected cost, I chose not to leave a tip. If you decide to visit, I highly recommend confirming the total price before your service begins so there are no surprises. Consistent and transparent pricing goes a long way toward maintaining customer trust. Aside from the rest. Overall it was very quiet and relaxing vibe with enjoyable music.
