I really enjoyed Drawbar. The service was excellent. I met up with some friends for brunch. Love the hotel aesthetic. Modern with warm vibes. Definitely a classy spot. I had the crispy Brussels sprouts and the Bourbon molasses wings (plain). Both were delicious. Also had the When Life Gives You Lemons cocktail. I wanted to try it based on the pictures I'd seen of it on IG. It was good but be warned. It is POTENT. Lol. I didn't know that what I thought was just some purple coloring to make it pretty, was actually all gin. Haha. You live & you learn.‍ Ended up getting some extra lemonade to cut it some. Such a cool spot. We walked into our hotel and couldn't help but notice Drawbar from the front desk. We checked in, grabbed a seat at 3:55 and they opened at 4:00. Guess we arrived right on time! Excellent service. We were immediately greeted and given menus. The drink menu is filled with interesting combinations of spirits and syrups.... Exquisitely creative. I chose the 'I Like your Style' with Bustletown vodka, Limoncello, Strawberry-Basil syrup and champagne. It was decadent.. almost like desert. I enjoyed each sip, but one drink was more than enough. Here's what we ordered: **Bellyard sliders - perfect size on a brioche bun. SO GOOD!! **Garlic Truffle Parmesan Frites - I loved the dipping sauces that came with the frites- black garlic aioli and Fat Kid Sauce (my favorite for obvious reasons lol). **420 Battered Zucchini Chips - perfectly crispy almost like panko breading... probably is. This was our first time at Drawbar and we had a good time. We sat at the bar and the service was good. We ordered the Bourbon Molasses Wings, Chipotle Bourbon-Glazed Salmon, Grilled Asparagus, and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. A lot of items were missing from the menu so the portion size and options was very scarce. Also if you have a food allergy be aware that the options are limited. So, I saw this place on tik tok and wanted to check it out because it seemed to have nice ambience and it does ! But like most places in Atlanta nice ambience means not so good food. The only food I recommend is the appetizer shrimp, and the truffle French fries. Those were Amazing. But the steak (my friend had) had no seasoning, needed A1 sauce and the salmon and Brussel sprouts were gross. I literally gave my food back after a few bites (still paid for it though). The drinks were good. So I would say come here if your looking for drinks and appetizer vibe not for a full meal. It's super cute spot though. read more

I've been here twice this far. Once for drinks with friends. We sat at the bar and wandered out on the rooftop too. It was a nice view. And the drinks and bartender were pretty great. My second visit was with a Denver Yelp friend who was in town one weekend. As we tried to figure where we wanted to eat, I remembered that I wanted to try this place for brunch. It was a perfect choice with no wait. My friend enjoyed his banana bread French toast and I had bacon, eggs and toast with potatoes and a latte. I stopped by with a friend this past weekend to get a couple drinks. If you're looking for a place to dress up a little and sip on some cocktails, Drawbar has the perfect ambiance. We showed up around 10:15 PM using the hotel's elevator. We noticed immediately that everyone was dressed really well. Most of the seating in each of the areas was taken, and there was a good number of people standing by the bar. We didn't have to wait long to get our drinks: * Bless Your Heart: bright, fruity, and sweet * Drivin' Me Nuts: nicely balanced Whiskey cocktail They were a little pricey ($14 and up), but this bar's modern chic interior with tasteful art and decor coupled with the warm and chatty atmosphere made it worth it. I.love.it. It's a total pre dinner post dinner cocktails type of vibe. Not a super exciting Skyview but it is still nice to look out over the developing Upper Westside. The drinks are very classy. This isn't a "I want to taste my liquor and it burn" type of establishment. The bartenders take care in each curated cocktail. I came in between brunch ending and dinner starting so there was no food available but what I saw looked great. Can a bar position it's self to make a menu of instagramable drinks. I think yes and drawbar delivered. I'll be back and I tell everyone to go back. Please note this is the lobby bar of the bellyard hotel. The space itself is beautiful, but there are some drawbacks (see what I did there?) Lots of great seating, but no one controls it or seats people. This means people spread out & take up spaces for hours, unfortunately. It also gets very messy because they aren't bussing spaces often. We wanted to sit in a couple of spots that were covered in dirty plates/drink ware. Service is spotty & slow, maybe just not staffed enough (if that's the case, they should let fewer people in). A lot of the seating areas aren't serviced at all - you can order at the bar (and wait for ages) and carry it all to other seating areas - just not a luxury experience. The rooftop view is pretty but the bar is all inside, not out there on the nice deck. And if you don't get there really early, it'll be packed anyway. If you can go on a weekday or super early, you may get quicker service & a preferred spot to sit in. Design of the space is lovely, just temper your expectations for the food/drink speed & getting seating. Alternatively, there's the Saint Germain coffee shop here, so you can get coffee/dessert and chill as well. read more

This bar is almost like a hidden gem right in front of you. Though it is just a lobby bar, the space is so open and bright and beautifully decorated with a modern somewhat West Coast flare. Ordered the Bellyard Sliders and Crispy Hot Shrimp to eat and the Your Neck Of The Woods and the I Like Scotch, Scotchy, Scotch to drink. The Crispy Hot Shrimp were hands down my favorite thing! They were perfectly fried and savory, with a spicy kick. The Bellyard Sliders had moist beef patties, and sweet onions that complimented each other. We were looking for an alternative Holiday bar in the area and found Drawbar. Seating was pretty open for a Saturday, so we grabbed a large table since it was a group of us. Once seated, it took awhile for someone to greet us. It wasn't busy, but service was pretty slow. A server finally came to greet us and take orders. I had a holiday cocktail called Deck the Halls and my husband had an old fashioned. We also went ahead and placed an order for appetizers, which we ordered the crawfish hushpuppies and garlic truffle Parmesan fries. Both appetizers came out pretty quickly, but the drinks took awhile. Others and our group came and ordered a variety of drinks and food options. Some included the fried green tomatoes and fried shrimp. We enjoyed the chipotle sauce that came with the hushpuppies so much, we asked could they put it on our wings. All of the food came out hot, fresh and fast for the most part. Our biggest complaint was the slow service. However, I'd definitely be willing to give them another try in the future. read more

The newest hotspot in West Midtown is a gem! My colleagues and I came here for a much needed happy hour. We parked in the deck of the Bellyard Hotel but there was some confusion as to where this place actually is. The Drawbar is not directly on top of the roof (so don't follow the signs for Rooftop Access of the Interlock building). It's the hotel lobby's bar with an outdoor patio (with some great views!) Once there, the outdoor area is first come and first served with an actual server. However, we went and got drinks from the inside bar at first. I think that may have caused some confusion because when we were finally ready to order some snacks, we could NOT get a waiter or waitress' attention! It took maybe 15-20 minutes to flag someone down. When we did order, we ordered the frites and the pulled pork sliders. Both were pretty good... the fries' black garlic aioli sauce was soooo yummy that I'd definitely want to recreate it. And the goat cheese with the pulled pork was a perfect match! All in all, I think they're still working on some quirks but I'll definitely be back soon. read more

The views on the deck are one of the best, but I love getting a seat at the bar especially when my favorite bartender Ajay is behind the bar. She's the best! My friends and I went here for a birthday brunch based on my suggestion. The ambiance and setting is gorgeous. We ate outside and the views of the city skyline was beautiful! They did have a smaller brunch menu compared to other restaurants, but the food was good and filling. I had the tomato and ricotta johnny cakes which I couldn't even finish. The crispy potatoes was really good and seasoned well. Our waitress was nice too. Its a nice date and early lunch spot for sure. read more

I was in search of a rooftop bar for the holiday and found Drawbar on Yelp. It's a fairly new establishment inside of the beautiful Bellyard Hotel in West Midtown. We found seats with no problem and were greeted shortly after by our waitress Pam. She was amazing! I ordered the pull pork sliders & my friend got the burger; they both were delicious. I have been to Drawbar twice and had very mixed experiences. The first time, the service was outstanding. We were seated in their wonderful patio right away, and we were able to have our drinks while enjoying the view. Tried the 'when life gives you lemons' drink, the layered purple drink and it was delicious! drinks are about $14-$18, which is understandable because of the view. The second time at Drawbar was not all that great. The server brought our drinks over a whopping 45 minutes later. At one point I went inside to tell someone to bring our drinks over. the drinks seemed diluted as well. It was a strange experience as I have always heard such great reviews of Drawbar. I would still go back but not have that high of expectations. read more

This was my first time visiting the Bellyard hotel and Drawbar located in the interlock space in westside. First let me start off by saying westside has always been a hot spot for shopping and dining so I already knew this would be another cool spot to add to my list! The interlock space is located in a prime location so finding the Bellyard was not so difficult. I pulled up at the parking garage and was greeted by security. He mentioned that you could park wherever and only needed to pay via park mobile...so convenient. After I parked the elevator took me right up to the lobby area. The Bellyard lobby is soooo aesthetically pleasing. The decor and art was hip and they even have a cute little mural wall outside to take instagram worthy pictures. Across from this section is a small Saint Germain bakery offering some of the prettiest desserts. Before heading into the bar area I stopped by the bathroom which was so moody and cute. Ok, so heading to the bar I noticed there was ample seating and a patio section which is always a plus especially when trying to social distance. There were about 2 people working the bar which I guess was appropriate for the amount of people visiting. Both Orlando and Salvador were on top of it and we did not have to wait to place our orders or receive our food and drink. I ordered the coca cola short rib toast and my friend ordered the miso glazed salmon. Both were delicious!! For my drink I ordered the When life gives you lemons which was presented beautifully. My friend order a glass of rose. Overall we found the staff to be attentive, the environment beautifully decorated and the location prime! I'd definitely be back again!! read more

Subpar service with poor drink quality and high prices. Came in on a Wednesday night and asked for a Carajillo. Bartender obviously didn't know what to make and the manager came over. First attempt was awful, second round was better but not good. We were here for one round that totaled $70.50 before tip. Our server scoffed at us when we refused the first round and we ended up getting our drinks after at least 30 minutes. I'm usually a big fan of this bar, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Came here requesting an atypical drink, but expected at least some service.
