We asked them to fix a leak in the flooded bathroom. After that, they said they ran cameras down the pipes through our clean-out. Of course, they found all the pipes broken/filled with roots. They wanted an additional $42,000 from my 92 year old mother. When I said no, the manager claimed the damage needed to be fixed immediately, but they wouldn't let me see the pipe videos without paying for them. I then had a highly recommended plumber come over and video the same pipes, I saw the video and all pipes were clear! I didn't tell Drain Right that one of the pipes was new, just installed a few years ago. Seems like they tried to scam us. GET A SECOND OPINION WHEN USING THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

I scheduled about a week and a half ahead and was offered a 4-6pm arrival window. On the day of the appointment I received a call at 4:13pm confirming the appointment. Tony Huichan was super nice and professional. He did an amazing job! We were waiting awhile for a plumber to be sent to our home. The plumber came just in time, but finished everything so quickly. First, when he arrived he was very courteous. Tony went over all the little details and inclusions before even mentioning price. He made sure to use all the right equipment but also brought in the tarp and even a shoe cover so that your floors would not be messy. After all the signatures, the work started immediately. Once the work was completed, he brought us over to the kitchen to go over on how the garbage disposal will be working. Tony made sure to go over all the details needed in case there was a jam in the future. I'm very happy with the work John and his assistant did at Drain Right Services. They replaced two exterior hose bibs which would seem straight forward. However, one of the hose bibs was soldered on. This required that all of the water be completely drained from the supply line in order to get the solder joint hot enough to melt and remove the old bib. Unfortuntely, draining all of the water from our two-story house took a very long time, even after John used all of the techniques to relieve the water from the line. John stuck with it and finally got the bib removed and the new one installed. To complicate things, I thought I had the replacement hardware for the job but my fittings didn't match the supply lines. No problem - John came up with adapters and installed the new hose bibs with no leaks. John and his assistant were very pleasant during the entire process and they gave me a good price. They also thoroughly cleaned up the area, removing all signs they'd been working there. I'd recommend Drain Right Services to anyone who needs plumbing work at their home. read more

Had a plugged drain that was backing up into the tub on a apartment unit Saturday morning . Five unit ground floor units and therefore the main line had to be rootered . Source of the problem was a wash towel in the line . Technician was prompt in arriving and quickly uncovered clean outs and ultimately the main line . I waited a few days to post my review because I was waiting for the company to respond to my message. My water heater needed to be replaced because it was leaking, they came out the same day and gave me a quote and I authorized the work. The next day they came back and completed the installation. After they left I noticed a strong gas smell in the garage. I thought at the time that this was probably due to them changing over the lines and proceeded to open my garage window and give it a few hours. When I went back out to the garage in a few hours the smell was the exact same. I immediately called the company and informed them of the issue at around 4:10 pm. They initially stated that it was probably just the gas settling in the tank because it had been replaced. When I continued to push and stated that the smell was really strong she stated she would have the technician call me. John called and I stated my concerns and the fact that the smell was really strong and he had me test the line with some dish soap and water. I stated that I didn't see any bubbles but the smell was really strong and I was concerned that if it was a gas leak that I didn't think that was safe. He stated that he could not come back until the next morning and I should just turn off the gas and he would be out the next morning to look at it. He did come the next day and there was a rather large gas leak. I am horrified that this company didn't take me seriously after I had paid a considerable amount of money to just put in the new water heater. Any number of bad outcomes could have happened. The fact that no one has responded to my call and the company hasn't even given we an accurate invoice for the work that was performed speaks volumes. I would never recommend this company for any sort of plumbing need because they are obviously more concerned with getting off work on time then the safety of their customers. The company has responded that my call came in after hours which is incorrect. It was at 4:10 pm to their main office which according to their own published hours, is a 24 hour business. Also they implied that I called the technician directly and that is not the case, their office personnel reached out to the technician and had him call me. Because they were unwilling to come back out until the next morning I did turn off the gas. After publishing this review is the first time that the company reached out to me regarding all of these issues. read more
