I was truly blessed this morning by Mr.Wille,I placed a service call for my A/C unit. I thought it went out so of course I was in panic mode, worried about the cost of this untimely repair. Mr. WILLE showed up on time checked the system and breaker box in less than 10 min my system was back up and running. Although it was a small fix he didn't charge me. I was so Greatful. He even took his time to educate me on how my system works. I highly recommend him. read more

After dealing with several HVAC companies (both large and small) that tried to hit us with unnecessary upcharges and outrageous fees, finding Will at A1 AC Services was a huge relief. He was the first honest, straight-shooting technician we came across. We sent him photos of the problem, and he immediately knew what needed to be done. He responded promptly, communicated clearly, and was able to come out the very next day to service our unit. It's rare to find someone in this industry who isn't trying to take advantage of customers. Will is honest, professional and incredibly easy to work with. I highly recommend A1 AC Services if you're looking for quality work from someone you can actually trust. read more

My AC stopped working overnight during this terrible heatwave. I called A1 AC first thing in the morning. Will got back to me quickly and was able to fit me in right away. He was here within a half hour and had me up and running by 8:45 am. Highly recommended. Follow up: Had Will out again to replace my fan motor which was failing. Another straight forward experience. Fast, efficient and professional. read more

Will came out to check my AC the day after I contacted him because the secondary line was dripping. He was able to clear the main line in a professional, efficient, courteous way. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and had very fair pricing. Good service is hard to find, I will never use anyone but him for any AC/HVAC services. Thank you, Will! read more

Responsive, personable, professional and very capable. Despite being in the midst of heat wave, Will found space in his schedule and even arrived hours ahead of his estimated time. Assessed the situation with precision and made easy fix recommendations rather than trying to sell you something. Highly recommend. read more

I called Wil because my AC unit wasn't blowing cold air and I needed someone to come today or tomorrow because it was during a major heat wave in the valley. Wil quickly realized that I was not in his service area and apologized that his company came up on Yelp for my service area. Not only was he kind, but he was quick to refer me to another company in my area and give me the phone number and name of the person to talk to and said to tell the new person that I was referred by him and he would take care of me. I called the other company, and that gentleman too was very professional and kind. It is very hard today to find companies that are honest and helpful. I am so pleased with my experience with A1 even though I was not able to use them in the end. Thank you! read more

Our AC wasn't cooling and once we saw the amazing reviews we decided to call them and the service was very on spot and Will was very professional and he came really prompt .The price was reasonable and the quality was outstanding! He was able to do the job within 2 hours. Highly recommend them for your heating and AC issues. read more

Will is an honest, professional, and intelligent man. Thank goodness we found him. He saved us not only financially but ended my panic attack about cost$$$. After getting the "FEARFUL bunch of BS" from other AC companies who said we needed and HAD to install a whole new HVAC system because of all sorts of bogus reasons, including one telling me lies that our unit was installed against code in the wrong area, which was/is a huge LIE, to the part that they would do the installations with no permits, they'd do that for me. UNREAL & not trustworthy. Turns out, all that was needed was to change the air filter. Finding an honest person and business is truly invaluable. Thank you Will, you answered our prayers. read more

I really can't say enough good things about Will, the owner of A1AC Services. I called him during the recent heat wave sort of desperate for help as our air conditioner seemed like it was failing; we had it running constantly for over a month. I was going to call the last company we used however I couldn't find their number (thank goodness) so I looked on Yelp. The first company I found said they couldn't come out for about 4 days. Then I called Will; after I explained my situation he said he could possibly come out that day. He came and said the air conditioner was in good shape and even though it was out of warranty it should last another 10 years, He said he could be back in a few days to replace a few parts to insure there would be no break in service. His report was a breath of fresh air because the heating and air companies I've dealt with in the past give a low ball price (around $120) to perform routine maintenance then they find lots of stuff wrong and all of a sudden you have a $1,000+ bill. A big plus was that in my case Will came out himself to diagnose the problem and fix what was wrong. In the past, I've dealt with a worker, from a big company, who may or may not know what he's doing. Will is very knowledgeable and has been in the business for a long time. His prices are so much more reasonable than the prior "big" companies I've dealt with. I've already recommended Will to my neighbor. So if you want a heating and air guy who is reputable, reliable, reasonably priced, kind, responsive and friendly, call Will. read more

I think Will is very knowledgeable, but he's not as up to date on his information as he thinks he is - and he is extremely confident that everything we say is wrong. He started by telling me that the three ceiling registers that we have (along with 6 in-floor registers) were the furnace returns - sight unseen, he told me I don't know my own HVAC system. Then, when I mentioned that we weren't able to run our Nest in "fan-only" mode because of a limitation of the furnace wiring (which was unrelated to the work we were trying to get quoted), he proceeded to investigate why our Nest would force us to have this restriction (only to discover that once again, we were right). The straw that broke the camel's back was when we were trying to ask him about the "communicating thermostats" that come with heat pumps these days - they claim to have additional features, like humidity control, that make the variable-speed heat pumps even more functional and desirable (including the AC Pro, which was the brand he had recommended for our house). He claimed that there were no such thermostats, and that all a thermostat does is turn the unit on & off. We were literally looking at the manufacturer's website, at the thermostats they offer, when he was saying that they don't exist. When we tried to explain what we were seeing online, he said that there are a lot of things on the internet that aren't real (like Freon for $5/gal or whatever it was that he said was an example of fake things from the internet). I think "the internet" is a vast place and I do not expect it to be 100% factual in content, but generally speaking, an HVAC manufacturer's website is not going to straight-up lie about their available products. He came up with one interesting idea about flipping our furnace upside-down to push all the air up into the attic (so we could get rid of our floor vents, which was the job we were trying to get quotes for), but decided in the end that it was not worth the money given that our furnace is two decades old. I appreciate the ingenuity and the ability to think outside the box, but I didn't appreciate being treated like an idiot, repeatedly. Plus, his quote was the most vague of the three we were provided - just scrawled notes on a sheet of paper, no details, no model number, no breakdown of costs. He's probably great at repairing systems, so I gave him 3 stars for that reason. read more

I can't say enough great things about my experience with A1 AC Services. Will, the owner has just been the consummate professional and technician, and he's done it all with a warm smile, kindness, and generosity. I first contacted A1 AC in search of the outdated refrigerant my rooftop HVAC unit requires for cooling. No other local company had it, but A1 AC did, saving my son and I from certain heat exhaustion! Will was empathetic and caring on the phone when I called, scheduling to come out the first thing in the morning, since I had called near close of business that evening. He not only arrived on time, he worked around my morning schedule and promised to work independently while I was on video calls with clients. When the first service job didn't hold through another heat wave days later (something he prepared me for because it was such an old unit), Will came back immediately to try another repair. This one has "stuck" so far! Since the unit is on its last leg, I asked Will to give me an estimate for a new package and the quote I've received is *very* reasonable! When the time comes to replace the old package unit, I will for sure be calling upon A1 AC Services! read more

Will at A1 AC came to our rescue during the summer when our AC stopped working. The inside of our house literally felt like an oven. Will promptly showed up as promised, found the issue and had our AC up and running. I found Will on Yelp and decided to call him because of all the positive reviews. As soon as Will left, I knew that I would be adding yet another positive review. Will is a true professional, trustworthy and a pleasure to do business with. And he offers top notch service for a reasonable price. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Will was great and reassuring. He came at the promised time frame and made me feel at ease that my ac unit issues could get resolved. He came in with his tools, and found that my refrigerant levels were low. My AC was not cooling down the house, so he said that there may be a leak. He said we can start w the refrigerant and see what happens within 2 months. I am grateful to have found him on Yelp. read more

Will came to my house on very short notice, assessed my heating problem and explained everything clearly. It was refreshing to work with someone who truly has the customer's best interest at heart. On top of being an excellent technician, Will is just a really nice guy -- friendly, respectful, and genuinely pleasant to work with. He took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood what was happening with my system. I'll definitely be calling Will again and am highly recommending him to neighbors & the Yelp community. read more

Our AC was struggling to keep the house cool during this ongoing heatwave. I called after hours on a Friday evening expecting to just leave a message, but Will anwered. We scheduled his soonest appointment for the following week. On the day of our appointment, he let me know he was running a bit early and arrived a short time later. He quickly determined we were low on coolant. He explained that we have a closed system, and low coolant means we must have a leak. He suggested just adding coolant and checking levels again in a month to determine the size of the leak. He also explained options if the levels have dropped significantly in a month. Our AC is now working perfectly. It is very clear that Will cares about making his customers happy. He might be a bit more expensive than the next guy, but it is worth it having someone who stands behind their service and is truly committed to making his customers happy. read more

According to Murphy's law, the AC will break when it gets hot for the first time in our area. Will came out same day after I messaged him on yelp. He was on time and very friendly and quickly responded and assessed the problem. It was an easy fix for us thankfully, and he offered some suggestions on keeping our system healthy which we appreciated. Thanks for saving us during the first heat wave of the South Bay. read more

My AC needed repair as it kept cycling on and off and had not been blowing air. I was worried about high costs or that I would be quoted for unnecessary repairs so I made sure to be selective about who I hired. I went through Yelp and found Will and A1 AC. It drilled down to all of the feedback I read around his honesty and reasonable costs. I called him, he picked up immediately, and he offered to come out the following day. He was on time and even took the time to give me a 5 minute lesson on AC 101 (I had asked and he kindly showed me). My capacitor needed replacement and he repaired it within 30 minutes. Quote was more than fair. What stood out the most was that he said he was "not in business to sell me anything" after explaining I was worried I'd have to replace the whole thing. They even removed all of the stuff my kids so nicely threw into my AC lol. Needless to say, Will is going to be my go-to for future AC services moving forward. It's rare to find honest service technicians in business and I'm thankful I found one I can trust. Thanks, Will!!! read more

Will seems to have a thriving business and was kind enough to squeeze me in as we had no heat in our home. He was able to quickly assess the problem and fix our heater. Just got off the phone with Will. I initially asked what their cost would be to have our AC unit serviced in preparation for the summer. He walked me through a couple things to check before setting up an appointment. Turns out we're still in good shape and don't need to do anything at the moment. He also offered to provide any additional support over the phone should anything come up. We'll definitely reach out to Will in the future for any needs we may have. Fantastic, honest, & friendly. He arrived on time and inspected the unit. Thank you for coming out!

I reached out to William because I was told by another company that I should get my furnace and exhaust vent cleaned. William was one of the only companies that responded to me on this request the first time (using Yelp!) and said that this was a service they provided. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. Fast forward they came out, looked at my wall heater (1950s house) and told me that in fact it was not dirty and did not need to be cleaned. William said he was not going to charge me to clean something that didn't need to be cleaned. I was like, "wow, okay, thank you for letting me know." I did have a couple questions (unrelated) about my wall heater and William was more than happy to answer them. My experience with A1 AC was fantastic and I will be reaching out to them again in the future should I have any issues with my heater. Thank you! read more

i am thrilled to share my exceptional experience with will from a1 ac services who went above and beyond to repair my broken ac unit. when most ac companies were unable to come out for weeks, will took action immediately upon hearing about the urgency of my situation and arrived on the same day. his promptness and dedication to resolving my issue quickly left a lasting impression on me. not only was will efficient in his work, but he also displayed utmost professionalism throughout the entire repair process. he carefully assessed the problem, communicated his findings clearly, and presented factual solutions. what truly stood out was will's honesty - unlike other technicians who often try to sell unnecessary services just to make more money, will focused solely on fixing the issue at hand. even when i pointed out a minor issue (more of an inconvenience) will gave me an honest assessment and voluntarily told me it's not worth the cost and advised on a much simpler and cheaper option. his integrity shone through, and it was evident that his main priority was to provide top-notch service without overcharging or exploiting his customer. it truly is refreshing and reassuring to know such honest tradesmen are still out there. his commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction was truly commendable. i wholeheartedly recommend will at a1 ac services for all your ac and heating needs. read more
