They were very in demand during the last heatwave, but were able to get it installed quickly and at the best price by far of any estimates I got. Max was very flexible to work with us, and it was greatly appreciated after spending a week suffering through the August heat.

After testing revealed that my 20 year old single stage Lennox HVAC system (including gas furnace)…read morehad a leak, I decided it was time for a major upgrade/brand new high efficiency Trane multi stage system w/heat pump thereby eliminating the need for gas. I added air balancing dampers as well to help distribute air throughout the home more efficiently, thus saving electricity. After a comprehensive competitive bid process and reading Google/Yelp reviews, I chose Aloha Air Conditioning and Heating in Redondo Beach. From the very beginning, working with the owner, Max, was a pleasure. He made the entire consultation and planning/scheduling process smooth and stress-free. On installation day, Lead Installer Victor along with Ronaldo, Edgar and Manny arrived on time at 8:00 AM and were awesome throughout the day. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and respectful of my home. They swapped out the old Lennox unit(s) efficiently, took the time to explain the new setup, and left the work area clean. The difference in my home's comfort is night and day. A huge thank you to Max and the rest of the Aloha team for a top-tier upgrade experience. If you are in need of a reliable highly rated HVAC company, look no further than Aloha! Highly recommended!

Our A/C stopped working during this horrible heat wave, and after calling 11 different HVAC…read morecompanies, this was the only company that was able to get me scheduled the soonest. They originally booked me for Saturday but told me they would call if an earlier appointment became available. To my surprise, they contacted me the very next day because of a cancellation. Our technician, Fabian, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain what was causing the issue and also educated us on the importance of routine A/C maintenance to help prevent future problems. I really appreciated that he answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. The entire experience, from scheduling to the repair, was excellent. It's hard to find a company that's responsive, honest, and reliable, but this one exceeded our expectations. We will definitely continue using them for all of our future heating and air conditioning needs. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with Southwest HVAC…read more I called Southwest HVAC in April to have my AC serviced before summer because I have a newborn at home and wanted to make sure our system was reliable before the hot weather hit. I specifically took the initiative to have the unit maintained ahead of time because keeping my family comfortable and safe was a priority. During that visit, Southwest HVAC charged me $1,000 for a capacitor and a hard-start kit. I thought the price was extremely high, but I agreed to pay it because I trusted that I was paying for professional service and, more importantly, peace of mind that my AC would be ready for the summer. Fast-forward ONLY FIVE MONTHS and my AC won't even turn on. Naturally, I called Southwest HVAC expecting them to stand behind the work they had performed just five months earlier. Instead, I was told I would have to pay another $100 diagnostic fee just for them to come out and look at the system. That's what I find completely unacceptable. You charged me $1,000 to service and repair my AC, and less than five months later the system isn't even turning on--and your response is essentially, "Pay us another $100 and we'll take a look." If you are going to charge customers premium prices for HVAC work, I expect a reasonable level of accountability when the equipment fails shortly after you serviced it. I shouldn't have to pay another fee simply to find out whether the work I already paid you $1,000 for was done properly or whether the components you installed have failed. The timing is especially frustrating because I specifically had this work done BEFORE summer precisely so I wouldn't end up in this situation. I have a newborn in the house, and now I'm dealing with a non-functioning AC in the middle of summer after paying this company $1,000 for service only five months ago. $1,000 in April. AC completely dead in September. Another $100 just to get someone to diagnose it. That is not what I consider good customer service, and it certainly isn't what I expected when I paid Southwest HVAC to service my system. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion and comparing prices before giving this company your business. Based on my experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the way they handled the situation afterward.

It was clear they made an extra effort to help me out with this towards the end of the day (just about 5 pm!!). They were incredibly professional and made this whole situation so much better. I truly cannot recommend them enough. They retrieved the earring and graciously chose not to charge me for this service. We just moved into our house and feel so much better knowing they are here for all our plumbing and air needs. . 1 Star…read more Don't even bother wasting your time with this company. Extremely unprofessional, and I definitely would not recommend them. I contacted them simply to get an estimate for installing new units in a property that is already gutted. Instead of providing an estimate, they wanted to charge a fee to "check" each individual unit. Check what exactly? The units are gutted. There's nothing there to diagnose or troubleshoot. I wasn't asking them to repair an existing system--I was asking for a straightforward estimate for brand-new units and installation. It felt like they were more interested in finding ways to charge inspection fees than actually earning the job. Save yourself the time and call a company that actually wants your business.
