Excellent work! Very timely, professional and affordable. Kim did some drain work for me last week. I called him again this week, as the problem was persisting. Kim promptly returned and checked the the crawl space and found rotten drain lines. He explained everything to me and showed me pictures. Today, he repaired the drain and gave me credit for last week's work. He also gave me a year's warranty. read more

Kim is the best!! Very punctual, professional, and his hydro jetting cost is very competitive. He gets the job done quick and clean. I got a few other companies to provide an estimate and nobody is even close to Kim and they often need to check the site, talk to their boss and come back with a cost, then schedule another day for the job. Kim did the job 30mins after I reached out to him. Can't be happier with the results. read more

Sewer Lateral Inspection done by Kim before buying a house in San Jose. Super nice availability, was able to come over within 3 hours after the call today. Spent time to explain the situation and review the whole video of the sewer inspection with me. Video saved on a USB key and given to me. All of that for a competitive price. Definitively recommend. A rainwater drain that carried water from a downspout to the street had been clogged for years. I finally decided to see if someone could clean it out and stop the flooding near my house. I called Kim and scheduled his time. He was early for his appointment and I appreciated that. His communication skills were perfect and he understood the problem immediately and went to work. He flushed the street drain and then went to the top of my downspout pipe and flushed out all of the debris from that end. The pipes were full of leaves and mud and even a living frog who managed to escape unhurt. After the job was complete, he cleaned the gutter, the street and the side of the house that had dirt splashed on it from the unclogging. Very conscientious! Kim was easy to work with and a very interesting young man to converse with. His honesty was refreshing and his pricing fair. I love dealing with family owned businesses because they are fully invested in getting the job done right the first time. I would use him any time again! read more

I had a houseful of people over the holidays and our sewer jammed! I called around and he was the only one that answered. He came over promptly, cleared the poop jams, and explained how to solve the problem long term with the city. We even paid to have the camera that showed the inside of the pipes which was pretty interesting. He was professional, easy to work with, and we were able to use the restrooms soon after he arrived. I would call him again and recommended him to everyone at our party. read more

Kim respond to my inquiry within 15mins. He go over all my options over the phone, then he scheduled to come out the same day. At the beginning, I am kind of skeptical on his profession when his van pull up with No company name on it. Once he open the door, his tools are so well maintained & organized. I am impressed. He did exact what he told me & complete with timely manner. I'll definitely refer to anyone. read more

Had an issue with my bathroom sinks both being clogged. It was the day after Christmas so I wasn't sure if I'd have any luck finding a plumber on short notice. Luckily I found Kim! He squeezed me in his busy schedule and was here within an hour of my call. Did the job very efficiently and also was reasonably priced. He even researched a part on amazon for me that I needed. It's great to find an honest reliable plumber. Highly recommended! read more

Nice guy, fair price. One of the few guys I've contacted that has all the equipment on hand if you ask in advance... he promised me a camera, snake and hydro jet.. only guy I know that showed up with all and I don't have to do a repeat appointment to cover some "oh I didn't bring that". Highly recommended - will do business with again. read more

Really appreciated Kim coming out on short notice and figuring out what was causing my yard to fill with 1000s of gallons during a recent thunderstorm. A whiffle ball stuck in the drain - could have been really bad. Now at least I have a chance not to flood the house. Thanks again Kim! read more

Roots had blocked my French Drain and water was backing up under the house. In the past I used various rooter companies with mixed results. Their metal snakes are not long enough to clear out my entire system from front to back. These companies offered to use a hydro-jetter which is much longer and more effective. But the prices they charge were prohibitive. Drain Control came out within an hour of my call. They hydro-jetted my entire French Drain line for a very reasonable price. They cleared the line and a massive amount of water that had been trapped, came gushing out. Can't say enough about Kim and his brother. Very helpful, indeed. read more

Kim came out very quickly. from the time i called he was out within 30 minutes. we had roto rooter out and they spend 15 min here and said they need to cut a pipe under the house to clear the blockage in our shower drain. they charged us and left. we didnt want them cutting a pipe and didnt trust their tech. Kim came out and had pulled a golf ball sized ball of hair out the drain and charged us less than he had quoted. awesome service. from time of call to time he left our house was maybe 1.5 hours. definitely have Kim's number saved and will be using him again read more

Kim worked on a laundry /utility sink project for my home. His quote was competitive. The job was not straightforward and we experienced some challenges however he was creative and clearly went above and beyond. I am very happy with the work product. read more

I had a clogged sink in kitchen. Requested quote from Drain Control and a few other plumbing services (mentioning I needed snake from the roof since that was I always did and the only thing worked in the past). Kim was the only one who replied with exact cost and solution. All other services just push me to schedule with them without giving any useful information. In a few hours Kim was already standing at my front door. It took him 30 minutes to hydro jet + power snake from the roof to get the work done. It turned out there was a lot of grease in the pipeline (we never let food garbage in the drain). I believe the hydro jet really helped with the grease. Another nice thing from Kim is that you get 1 year warranty which I never got from other services. I would definitely use Drain Control next time and highly recommend Kim and his service! read more

Drain Control is the go to company if you need your home sewer cleaned. Kim is the owner and does the work himself. My master bath drain clogged. The shower filled up with sewage and the toilet was backing up. Called 3 plumbers, no response. Kim picked up and was very responsive. I had a clogged kitchen sink last week and I called Kim after a few other places couldn't come out for a few hours. Kim said he could come by within the hour - and he was there in 30 minutes. Not only did he get the sink unclogged but he let me know that I had a problem with my garbage disposal. He ran over to Hone Depot, picked up a new one and had everything done within an hour. His service was impeccable and and his rates were incredibly reasonable - especially because it was a weekend. Fast forward one week and I am at my mom's house in Los Altos and we were running the dishwasher. As soon as it started to drain, the air vent started spewing water and there was a huge leak under the sink. I sent a text over to Kim and he said he'd be here within an hour. Again, he was incredibly prompt. He cleared up a clog in the drain line, made sure everything was working properly and left without charging us! I cannot say enough about how wonderful his service is. I will be recommending Drain Control to all of my friends and family. Thank you Kim! read more

We were having some issues with our main sewer line and wanted a camera inspection. Kim responded quickly to my quote request and was able to come out the next afternoon. We found there was some root blockage of the line. He gave me a more expensive replacement option and a cheaper option for hydro-jet. The prices were reasonable and he explained things to me well. We ended up going with the hydro-jet and it has worked well so far! Everything was done in about 90 minutes. read more

Kim is amazing! He's professional and knowledgeable. He helps to clean all the roots in my sewer. I think I need to worry about the clogged drain for years. Kim V. answered my request for quote and we scheduled a time to come out. He is responsive and replies quickly. Next morning, he arrived on time and began assessing the clogged tub and washing machine drain lines we were having a problem with. He wanted to see the problems before quoting me a cost. I respect that. No price over the phone and then an up-sell when he comes out. He said I may have a bigger problem but he'd try to snake the tub for $150. It turns out the snaking didn't work and that it would require pipe replacement which is a much bigger project. He was honest and suggested I try a couple other drain cleaning companies to see if I could avoid the bigger replacement project. In the end, he wouldn't take any payment since he wasn't able to snake it successfully. This review is for his professionalism and honesty. read more

Highly recommend Drain Control for your plumbing needs. Sent a message last night and Kim showed up first thing this morning.
