One of the better breweries that has lasted in town. They had their 13th year anniversary fairly recently and consistently make good beer. The space is clean, modern , and functional with a big window to look into the brewery. The service is fast and friendly. Cool spot to grab a pint.

Visited Dragoon Brewery on a quiet Tuesday night and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the beers were on point. It was calm and comfortable, making it a great spot to unwind and actually chat while enjoying some well-crafted brews.

One of my administrative assistants was celebrating a milestone birthday and invited her peeps to join her for a Friday happy hour. It turns out her nephew is one of the co-owners! It's a bit hard to find -- there is a long 100 meter driveway that takes you to the (large) recessed warehouse/taproom behind the businesses (Ace & Arby's) that line W. Grant Rd (see pics). Inside, the taproom is cozily lit, with wood and iron tables and chandeliers and tall ceilings (to accommodate the gigantic fermentation towers on the other side of the taproom which can be seen via strategically placed windows). The co-owner, Tristan, was all too happy to give a few of us a private tour of the brewery, a tour that ended up lasting almost an hour and filled with fascinating details about the origins of the brewery and the entire mechanics and science of craft brewing. Dragoon sells kegs and cases to many of the major local establishments - from Club Congress to Costco. I lean towards hefeweizen and sours and while they currently don't have either on tap, the "Farmhouse" (blue corn and agave) was delicious. Their tap menu typically offers 10-12 beers (see pic), all brewed on premises in their fermenting tanks that range from 30 - 90 barrels each (see pic). Prices are super reasonable too, with 16 oz pours around $6-7 and 10 oz pours averaging $4. They offer flights as well. If you're a westsider you surely know about this place and now I do too! Parking is easy in their large private lot and swag - from t-shirts to mugs - is some of the coolest I've seen (I forgot to photograph)!

I had the Amber beer. I'm new to beer in general so I can't rate it professionally but I enjoyed it! I also tried blood orange wheat and that was sooo good! I also went on a line dancing night and it was so much fun!! I wish the dance area was bigger and the music was a little louder but other than that the place has good lighting and nice vibes. I also want to shout out the bartender Stout! He was so friendly!! He was so patient while we figured out what we wanted and he was very welcoming the whole time!! I hope to have him pour my beer again!!

Decided to drop in while my car was being serviced in the area and I'm glad I did. A low-key environment, with great service and friendly staff, where you can enjoy a wide selection of tasty locally brewed beer.

Brewery is situated off Grant road in an industrial complex but once inside it's all about the beer. The offerings to go are right near the front with a descriptive sign letting you know what is available & at what price. At the other end is a very large chalkboard with all of their brews listed in detail. Food trucks are often parked outside as the brewery serves no food inside. One of the employees named Stout has handled my orders almost every time & he's easily engaging & informed about their products. They rotate seasonal brews through the taps & often revive limited editions from time to time (Palomino IPA). Of the many craft brewers in Tucson this one is certainly on my fave's list.

Tucson has some great breweries and Dragoon was an okay stop on our weekend tour. + nice space with lots of seating + tucked away in an industrial area + flights + IPAs for days - not a lot of sours or styles of brews - food truck bailed the day we went - 1 dude working and he was a bit curt - locals definitely received better treatment than out of towners

Always exemplary food, ice cold beer and micheladas! Service in only moments and almost never a long wait. The tables are always plentiful with inside dining tables or the patio option with umbrellas.

Call ahead and find out if there will be a food truck. Otherwise, bring your own food. Awesome beer and great service :)

Very nice selection of beers from light to dark. Service was very good and they took time to explain the differences.

These folks are producing the best beer in Tucson. Hands down. Accept no substitutes.

Service was very poor. Beers were good but not that great. They really need to offer food.

My go to place for decades now! Employee-owned brewery in a funky old warehouse with tons of tvs…read more Always great, fresh, unique crafted brews on tap and fun creative menu. A number of my favorite foods are only on the Happy Hour (3 to 6) menu including Mac & Cheese, Nachos and a perfectly crisped Cheese Crisp like nothing in town. Staff can get overly busy and officious, but are responsive and kind, if not friendly.

I was happy to finally visit *the* brewery of Southern Arizona. I know there are certainly…read morecompetitors, but outside of Tucson, this is the only Tucson beer around. It's even better when you get it straight from the source. What I love: An expanded selection of small-batch beers you won't find anywhere else. There were like 3 IPAs I'd never heard of before. They even had a lager made with pickles! (not my thing, but it has fans). You can also tell right away this spot is great for large groups, and the patio is like 50 feet long--probably amazing in better weather What I like: You can't go wrong with the food, either. I'm a big fan of the southwestern egg rolls (a better rendition of them than a certain chain restaurant). The sandwiches are decent. Nothing really sticks out as a signature item, and nothing is made with a particular beer pairing in mind, but I'll forgive them--it's solid food. When it cools down a bit, I'll certainly return here to try more lesser-known beers and a snack. The location is a little out of the way, but you won't regret going a couple miles outside of downtown for this.

We stumbled upon this brewery while driving by and decided to give it a try…read more The brewery is very spacious, with plenty of natural light and lots of seating both indoors and on the patio, making it a great place to relax. We started with a couple of beer tastings and ended up choosing the Mexican Amber "Ortega." It was incredibly refreshing and definitely our favorite. Our bartender was fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and even gave us a discount because he accidentally forgot to ask my friend what size beer she wanted. Great customer service and a fun atmosphere. We'd definitely stop by again

I won't be going back…read more There were only 4 people there (already seated) yet I waited 15 minutes at the counter for a single cup of coffee - no one ever took my order. There was only one unfriendly employee who said they didn't have time because they were making sandwiches in the back and then physically stepped up on me to move back from an arbitrary line at the end of the counter when I was simply asking if they were actually serving coffee. When I said "you know this is terrible service, don't you?" she responded with "I know ". Not sure why I wanted to be there anyway - the place is not clean - if you look, there's dust on everything. It's a shame because it's right up the street from me and I really wanted to like it, but I'm not interested in waiting to them be dismissed and disrespected. This is the perfect example of what not to do in customer service.
