I found myself in Montclair the other day, and searched for breweries. I found this place, I hadn't heard of it so I decided to give it a try. They have a wonderful large space with some couches and ample seating. There's a couple of TV's as well. Also, there's a nice dog. I tried a flight, I picked some and I had the beertender pick some for me. Turns out I really enjoyed the ones they picked out the most. Their stout was great. The staff was very friendly, I enjoyed the interesting beer. If I found myself in the area, I'd stop by again. read more

This is my absolute favorite brewery in LA/ OC/ Inland Empire area. The beers are so creative and refreshing. Never anything expected. I love being surprised when I come here. Tonight I had Therese's Kolsch: a black cherry Kölsch Out of this fucking world. I want to be buried with a growler of this!! Scatheus Stout is a chocolate milk stout that has the perfect body and finish for a beautiful stout. Kundry is a blonde ale with green tea that's so refreshing. All beers that are considered fruity are made from real fruit and no artificial flavors and you can definitely tell from the taste how natural they are. My wife and I have been coming here since shortly after their opening, 2 years ago. It is by far our favorite microbrewery, with a large selection of excellent beers, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly people. They usually have 15-16 beers on tap, with a very nice variety in beer styles.. Usually a few IPA's (none of them overpoweringly bitter), stouts, porters, reds, and more traditional ales. Every beer on tap has something unique in the flavor, and I honestly think there is something for any taste, even those who don't like most beers. Most days that they are open they have a quiet atmosphere, where you can actually sit across from somebody and hear that person talk. They have the occasional live performer (most Thursdays they have a talented musician play for a few hours), and they work hard to bring in food vendors on Fridays and some weekends. Yesterday my lady and I went to this brewery and I heard the owner or an employee yelling at an elderly couple in the parking lot for parking in the handicap parking spot even though the couple had a handicapped placard. The employee was upset because the couple was planning on going across the street to a small outdoor pop up. There were a bunch of open parking spots. It was completely rude and uncalled for. Great little brewery in Montclair. Amazing selection (12) for such a small facility and production. Even better, they were all good. My favorites were the Beerdless Dragon (Tangerine & Kumquat wheat), Evil Knight (Black IPA with mango and black tea), and Sagacious (Meyer lemon & sage hefe). Found out there was another brewery next to the 91711 that had great reviews and looked like a full verity of beers to choose from. While doing some research on why I didn't know about the place before (it'd been open over a year), I found out it is women owned and operated. Had to try it out. It was a little slower on Sunday night, but there was a guy outside making food so if you dont want to cook I believe most nights they have a vender who will feed you. They have a sampler option for the beers so I got to try 6. There were two unique beers that were infused with tea leaves that I really liked. The West Coast IPA was great too. The space is big enough to bring a party of 10 or to just kick back and play cards like I did. I will be going back with my parents ASAP. read more

5 stars for the beer variety. They were interesting and tasty. Green tea in my beer, yes please. Oh, there was one that tasted like cleaner; it was like sage and lemongrass! I don't think we finished the taster! The red was good but reminded me of killian's... The staff was friendly. There was an older lady there just hanging out? The atmosphere was comfortable and a tad bit strange... They had a few board games and an old couch that looked lumpy. Fantastic! Very impressive array of interesting, even exotic, flavors in a very unassuming location. Family owned and operated, the beer is so unique. Having had been to many breweries, the ones that make more adventurous flavors tend to be a bit strange, but every beer that we tasted here was delicious! It's $11 for a flight of 6 tasters, which is highly recommended so that you can taste a variety of these incredible brews. I came in my first time just to grab a set of 4 cans to go since I was bringing them to my mom's house so I couldn't do any tasting and didn't want to even do the splash taste because you know that would be the one time I got pulled over...lol. So I picked my cans and took them to mom's. OMG...we enjoyed the 2 beers we tried very much and I took the other 2 home to share with my husband and we enjoyed them too! Very unique and delicious. In fact, I am taking my mom there tonight after we grab some food so we can hang out, have dinner and a beer or two and just relax. Dragons and Beers... how could you go wrong?? The woman that pours is incredibly sweet, and that alone would keep me coming back

I normally don't write reviews but this place was absolutely incredible!!!!! I tried the Nikkal (#1) and Heff YEAH! (#2) on their beer menu. Our server was amazing and very personable. I stumbled here on a whim and I'm so glad I did. Incredible beer unlike any of the basic breweries I've normally tried, I felt I NEEDED to write this! The brew rep doggie, Bailey, is also a sweetheart . Come here if you want good beer. Wish it was sold at more local restaurants I would actually start going to them haha read more
