I started off at the Ceramic Museum just 10 minutes away highly recommend it. I arrived soon after opening since one thing closed at 5 and the other opened at 5 so ideal timing for my adventure. I arrived in ideal time to be seated outside right under the porch and mind you I arrived right before a rush of groups began to arrive after me. While I was alone I didn't feel lonely as the staff was so friendly and continued to check on me. They got busy but still catered to me as I went through my wine tasting. I ordered a season tasting and it was a perfect tasting for a fresh winter night it was not too cold and not too hot just perfect Cali weather for an evening under a porch. I also ordered a mini charcuterie board for myself and it was so perfectly delicious. I never say perfect so many times in one review I wish I could give it more an extra star. It was a lovely evening in a lovely part of town and I would highly recommend going. I went on a Friday. Parking was plentiful when I went. It was lovely to support a local business.

It was out in the middle of nowhere! Wish it was still that way. This liquor store is on the border of Pomona and La Verne. Yes, it's in crime infested Pomona but it's not deep into Pomona enough to be terrible yet. This is a great liquor store! They stock a HUGE selection of craft beer. Easily more selection than your typical liquor store. Lot's of the beer they have are from smaller & local breweries. I also like to buy Super Lotto tickets here. Because.... if I ever win, I want this place to get a piece of the action. Never buy your lottery tickets at big name gas stations (AM/PM), corporate stores (BevMo), or places like 7-11. Avoid them. Always get your lottery tickets, liquor, cigarettes etc, from a small independent place like this liquor store! Always support the little guys, not the big guys. That's what keeps America going! As with being inside any liquor store, always be aware of your surroundings. You don't want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and.. it's always best to go in the daytime if possible not late at night. I recommend this liquor store because they have such an excellent (and large) selection of craft beer, historical building and location, their own parking lot, and the neighborhood is not too bad yet. I went in for a bottle of water and left with pretzel chips, sparkling and bottled water, a mango Mike's Hard Lemonade for my friend and a $20 Dubai chocolate bar. Was the Dubai chocolate worth it? No, not the one that I purchased. I took a photo of a Dubai chocolate, but that's not the one I bought and I'd rather get that one next time. I've had Dubai chocolate from other vendors (home made) and those were better than the one I tried. The one I got had a white wrapper and it was really rich and I didn't like the pistachio filling to chocolate ratio. My friend really enjoyed it but also said you only need a little bit. This store is very clean and well lit and they have more of an international selection as far as snacks go and as for the waters, I was able to find 4 types of sparkling water in their fridge which is SO NICE if you crave that type of bougee drink at 9:45 pm. Another reason to visit is the liquor kits they put together. I've never had one, but I've bought one super last minute as a gift for a friend's retirement party. Definitely a great place to stop to pick up one of these really cool liquor kits with the different types of liquor and candy in them and take to a party. It was all guys working the night I stopped in and everyone was really nice and working hard. One guy was on the phone like describing the inventory to a customer over the phone again, at like 9:30 p.m. The guy that rang up my items was very friendly AND handsome. My friend and I tried their orange and white wines. I can't remember their specific names, but they were both incredibly tasty. Is it pricey for a glass of wine? Depending on the occasion, I'd look for alternatives if you're looking for a more reasonably priced and efficient place. The employees were kind, and our wine choices were based on their recommendations (tailored to what we were looking for), which was greatly appreciated. Their parking lot is small, so on a busy day or night, one might have to resort to street parking. The inside is small as well, which might become overstimulating during peak times. Overall, I will likely be back.
