There have been occasions when I have forgotten my ID, and my wife has been able to purchase the alcohol since she has her valid ID with her. I completely understand and respect the law and the requirement to verify identification. However, today was the first time I was informed that both of us were required to show identification, and the alcohol sale was refused because I did not have my ID with me. The manager who assisted us mentioned that he has been at this location for three years, although I have never seen or spoken with him before. Omar, I respectfully recommend establishing and communicating a clear, consistent policy regarding ID requirements and making sure all employees are trained to follow the same procedure. It is frustrating when some employees allow a purchase with one valid ID while others refuse the same transaction. If this is in fact the policy, I also strongly recommend placing clear signage at the registers so customers are aware of the requirement before getting to the checkout. I completely understand the importance of following the law. My concern is simply that the policy needs to be clearly communicated and consistently enforced by everyone.

I have always been curious about what they sell. Do they only sell beverages? If yes, what kind? Well, my curiosity has been answered! I took the 1st step and entered the BevMo! in Glendora/San Dimas. Boy, do they sell more than just beverages! I was so WOWed and amazed at the end of my visit. Upon entry, I saw the left side with spirits, wine, champagne, craft beers, sodas, and so much more. You'll find so many amazing and neat products such as party accessories, glassware, barware, gourmet snacks, frozen foods, cigars, gifts, and again so much more. I walked every aisle as I was curious and in awe. I even saw See's Candies and Tony's Chocolonely for the chocolate lovers. I was short on time. Otherwise, I would have stayed and perused longer. I did pick up a bag of Reese's pretzels (tastes pretty good) and some fig crackers (haven't tried them yet). I will definitely return here and/or check out other BevMo! locations now that I know what they truly sell. They are a BIG convenience store with lots of goodies and surprises. Thanks BevMo! Btw, I love their simple philosophy, "shopping for beverages should be as much fun as drinking them!"

It was out in the middle of nowhere! Wish it was still that way. This liquor store is on the border of Pomona and La Verne. Yes, it's in crime infested Pomona but it's not deep into Pomona enough to be terrible yet. This is a great liquor store! They stock a HUGE selection of craft beer. Easily more selection than your typical liquor store. Lot's of the beer they have are from smaller & local breweries. I also like to buy Super Lotto tickets here. Because.... if I ever win, I want this place to get a piece of the action. Never buy your lottery tickets at big name gas stations (AM/PM), corporate stores (BevMo), or places like 7-11. Avoid them. Always get your lottery tickets, liquor, cigarettes etc, from a small independent place like this liquor store! Always support the little guys, not the big guys. That's what keeps America going! As with being inside any liquor store, always be aware of your surroundings. You don't want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and.. it's always best to go in the daytime if possible not late at night. I recommend this liquor store because they have such an excellent (and large) selection of craft beer, historical building and location, their own parking lot, and the neighborhood is not too bad yet. I don't mind waiting as they have many options. The real gems I found here are in the kitchen and dining section. They have some of the cutest kitchenware like strawberry themed jars, froggy glass cups, and sardine plates. Nice employees here are definitely a plus. I prefer to be left alone, but they are quite helpful at the register. Take advantage of their membership for their perks. Returning for more great buys.
