Tastings: $20 for 4 2-oz pours This was our first visit to the Biane Winery, however not the first time to this particular property. The site was the former home to Mountain Vista Winery & Vineyards, Pierre Biane Winery, and California Bonded Winery #1, one of the oldest-standing California wineries. The facility has large stone walls, immense spaces, and lots of wine history from the Cucamonga Valley. There's plenty of parking (private lot and on street) and the buildings have some great architectural style. The tasting room is huge, with comfy living-room-style seating areas. There are also a couple tables outside. WINES: Lauren and Gabby poured for us. The service was very good, and they were both quite friendly. If I remember correctly, Gabby is the granddaughter of the owner. The one thing we really liked was that most of the fruit they source comes from local vineyards. At one time, the Cucamonga Valley had 40,000 contiguous acres of vineyards. That's mostly all gone now due to modern development. My wife and I decided to share two tastings so we could try several of the whites and all the reds. The wines are well made, and we found several that we really enjoyed, including the '22 Sauv. Blanc, '21 Chardonnay, '22 Zinfandel, and '23 Sangiovese. Bottle prices range $20 - $40. As I always state, wines can be very subjective based on your individual palate, so you should stop by and try them for yourselves. I have driven by this winery several times, and it was pure torture that I was unable to stop in until today! I finally had the opportunity to visit, and it was extremely hot outside, so I knew that I wanted a chilled white. However, I can never pass up a wine flight! Any four pours for $20. So I opted for 3 pours of the whites and one of the Rose. I started with the Biane Brut and was very impressed. Dry, minerally, and just the right amount of yeast. I also had the Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, and the Chardonnay. My favorites were the Biane Brut because who can resist refreshing cold bubbly bubbles on a hot day. And then the Chardonnay because it reminded me of days (years, ok decades) gone by when I first drank this divine potion with big oak and buttery notes. Some people prefer stainless steel Chardonnay, but not me. Drown me in oak and butta! This was divine, and I bought a bottle to go. The winery is family owned and has a very long history dating back at least two centuries. They previously supplied Las Vegas hotels with their delightful bubbly brut. There's a really cool, gigantic photo of some of the winery's prominent people over the bar. My husband and I had fun trying to guess the identity of each person and their role. Overall, a very chill place to hang out and drink some tasty local wine. Gabby provided us with excellent service, and I look forward to returning many times in the future. read more

They don't really have food per say, but they have some small charcuterie boards available. They often have a Pizza vendor on site on Saturdays, decent personal pizzas. They have a guy conga playing guy there sometimes who seems to get the ladies in good spirits who sometimes like to dance with their husband or partner. They have a good line up of wines for sale and tasting, great atmosphere and ambiance with relaxing vibe. I think it is a must stop and great to celebrate Cucamonga valley wine country. A wonderful lady Norma or Normita she was a wonderful server knowledgeable about the wines, a young man Marty was very cool and he was knowledgeable as well and was very communicative and a generally nice person, There were others as well but not placing the name at the moment. It's great to see a staple of Cucamonga Valley Wine AVA revive through the legendary winemaking Biane family. They take advantage of the regions famed old vine zinfandels and cabernets sauvignons to create bold reds that blur the lines between Bordeaux and California, Old World and New. It's very exciting to see them embody their distinctive style that distinguishes their wines from the ports and sherries of the other area wineries. Definite aging potential, their oldest blends after restarting production in the region come from the early 2020s. Their tasting room is in the historic Biane wine property that is reflective of the Cucamonga river stone architecture that connects you to the living history of the Cucamonga Valley AVA. Expect to pay around 12 dollars a glass but they regularly have member and nonmember deals that can drop a glass as low as 6-7 dollars. The place is staffed by friendly Biane family members who will guide you through tasting and history (shout out to Philo!) Definitely worth a stop if you are passing through Rancho Cucamonga or integrating it into your brewery crawl along Rancho's Craft Beer Mile. read more
