I had been putting off getting the battery replaced, for about a year, on my old iPhone because I thought I had to go to Folsom or Sac and it might take a while. We popped in to Red Shoe Rescue hoping that was a service they provided, not really expecting it to happen then as it was already getting late and they closed in half an hour, and the owner told us it would be no problem at all. They were super nice, took down some of our info, checked the phone for any previous damage, took our phone in back and swapped the battery out in a jiffy. We also chatted a bit about techie stuff from about twenty years ago, when I was more technically inclined. I've had the new battery for a few weeks now and it has given my old iPhone a renewed lifespan and has saved me from having to buy a new phone right now. Thanks Red Shoe Rescue!

They were friendly, informative, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Despite numerous attempts (and diagnosis time/effort), Outlook just refused to connect up with my email server (Google). I used Yelp, rather than the 800 number (which reportedly is slow in responding). Well a Yelp inquiry wasn't much faster as I didn't get a response for a day and one half. The good news is that Ken got back to me and things went well after that. We set up a remote access day and time. The remote access works really well and he was able to figure out a couple of details that were blocking the connection (cached incorrect credentials, Google Access issue, Registry issue and 7 unneeded and worthless .OST files). He even suggested a better virus protection software product along with improved Ad Blocker software. I am very pleased with the knowledge and support of Ken. They charge for a minimum of one hour and he had me working in 40 minutes. He told me that if I have another issue, I can use the remaining 20 minutes of help.
