Ordered baby bok choy, got Napa/Chinese cabbage instead.
Kevin E.

Ordered baby bok choy, got Napa/Chinese cabbage instead. It didn't taste bad, but not what I wanted. I expected leafy greens and was just disappointed. There are a lot of other options around, so it's hard to justify coming back

I ordered tofu with black mushrooms and baby bok choy-not cabbage. The worker said it's not his problem and to talk to the owner

They forgot the chicken lo mein. They sent fried pork dumplings instead of steamed shrimp dumplings. I ordered tofu with black mushrooms and baby bok choy-no black mushrooms or bok choy and huge leaves of cabbage. The worker was nasty and said to talk to the owner that it's not his problem. 70$ of oily food and it's not even the right thing. Never coming here again.

My Home Away From Home!

I grew up in Bay Ridge, and have had family in the neighborhood all my life. I estimate that a good 75+ of the Chinese food I've had in my life has come From Dragon China. Trust me. Nobody on Yelp knows Dragon China like I do. I have the menu in front of me right now and I've had 59 of their dishes. Yes, 59. To give you a little bit of history, Dragon China has had three distinct periods in its lifetime. I can't place exact dates or even years, but it goes like this: When Dragon China opened up, it was obvious that they rocked. In fact, they stole all the Chinese-food business we used to send to the guys that used to be on 84th Street and 3rd Avenue. Then at some point in the mid-90's, Dragon China went downhill, descending into the wide swath of mediocre Chinese food that dominates much of Bay Ridge. You know what I'm talking about - the mushy slop that's not even good for filling you up. However, about five years ago, Dragon China put it's game face back on and upped their quality back to where it was when the joint opened. New management? New chef? I don't know and I don't care, but suffice it to say that Dragon China is firing on all cylinders once again. I no longer order from Dragon China simply because it's close to me. I order because they make lightning-fast deliveries, they never screw up orders, and the food is cheap and tasty. Dragon China's menu does not reach the otherworldly heights of the best places in Chinatown, but it is great for what it is - a purveyor of mass-market oriented Chinese food. As I stated above, I've consumed a huge portion of Dragon China's menu items, and they excel at almost everything - including the non-Chinese parts of the menu. (get the crispy white-meat chicken!) Dragon China makes awesome spare ribs, fantastic chicken & broccoli, and I lust after the orange beef on a regular basis. They also cook up great dumplings and pepper steak, and if you go on the right day, the fried chicken is pretty magical. The Mongolian beef is also pretty damn good. When I want to go all out, I go for Happy Family - the smorgasbord of shrimp, lobster meat, chicken, beef, pork, and vegetables that was an outrage to my late mother's Depression-era mentality regarding food. And unlike some other Chinese restaurants that shall remain nameless, Dragon China is not cheap with the Won Tons when you order a pint of soup. I'm being completely serious here. There are some Chinese restaurants that believe you can get away with giving customers three Won Tons in a pint of soup. Not Dragon China - they always give me five. So take it from me. If you can't trust a guy who won't screw you over on the Won-Ton count, who can you trust? Dragon China, you'll always have my heart. Sigh...

My uncooked chicken and inedible scallion pancakes. Ugh

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I decided to try the bourbon chicken with plain fried rice and I was very pleased with my order. The chicken was seasoned just right and tasted amazing. I also ordered a lemonade which came with a slice of lemon inside. I couldn't eat of my food that evening so I placed the rest inside of the refrigerator for lunch the following day. Lunchtime came around so I heated the rest of food for my lunch and the food tasted just as good as it did the previous day. The restaurant's decor wasn't anything spectacular, just plain and simple. I like to look around the restaurant if possible to check out the cleanliness of the business overall. It seemed to be very clean to me......in my opinion. I will definitely be back to patronize Hardee's again for great food and good service.

Get the "20 mini dumplings + drink of your choice". Seriously, I'm getting hungry just writing this review. Food: I ordered the 20 mini dumplings and drink combo, substituting the soda option for taro boba (+$4), totaling around $18 after tax! The dumplings are mini, but they are filled with so much flavor it's unbelievable. They each have a bit of soup in them that is so flavorful and not salty. There is also a slight bit of crispiness on the outside of each dumpling before the inside just melts in your mouth. It's unbelievably good. The taro boba is also well done. It's not too sweet, and the boba pearls are a unique level of like not that chewy and feel almost like popping boba?! Service: Friendly service! My friend and I did to-go, but the staff were all quite friendly. There is also a kiosk to order from if in a rush. Ambiance: It's a very clean restaurant and spacious. However, since there were so many people waiting for the viral item, we formed essentially a crowd outside the steps. The wait took about half an hour, and then my friend and I walked just down a couple of blocks to the Brooklyn Heights promenade, which has the most stunning view of the Manhattan skyline.
