Dragon Buffet on Central Ave is, "the old standby," for my parents, but that doesn't mean it's exactly good. My parents come here for only two main things, fried shrimp (the dried crispy ones where you can still see the little black eyes) and little clams. Everything else is fairly bland. All you can eat buffets are going the way of the dodo bird, as covid has forced many of them to close. So it's nice to just go to a place with mediocre food and just eat till you pop. It's cost efficient and hey, we all have had that urge to binge. Dragon Buffet fulfills this purpose just fine, but again, the selection is exactly that, mediocre. Everything has little to no flavor, and it just feels like your eating to, "fill a void," rather than enjoy yourself. But there are some things I can recommend. * hibachi chicken * general tso chicken * tempura chicken * squid, if they have it * tiny clams * fried shrimp * spring and egg rolls Everything else just tastes so average, but the ones I listed have a good amount of flavor. They have a sushi selection but you're better off going to United Buffet, for their rainbow roll and nigiri options, since this Dragon's sushi is lacking. If you guys at Dragon made slightly higher quality sushi, I'm sure you'd have way more customers. As it stands, it's just artificial crab meat salad wrapped in different varieties. When they had Ahi tuna as a topping I took them all. No regrets. If you need to fill the gut and satiate a binge, Dragon Buffet will do just fine, just don't expect much flavor.

Wings were almost edible. That potato's thing had mushy and hard things in it, like. I don't want to know. Ugh.

We were visiting the Capitol and wanted a Chinese buffet. Lord help us. we walked in...It had to be 85 degrees in there, no fans. Dirty windows. Had we not been driving a while looking for food and were both getting hangry, we would have left. Got to be something edible - we were starving. I have never been to a China buffet where not one item had good flavor or texture. I tried everything. Most I had to spit out. It all had the texture of frozen food dethawed and not cooked all the way. It is hard to describe how horrible this food was. The cantaloupe was good. To top it off my husband comes back with an ice cream and tells me to go get one. Dirty spoon in dirty tepid water to bend over and scoop the ice cream yourself. Freezer burnt ice cream in dirty freezer that anyone could have sneezed on or dripped on...ugh. . Ugh. So dirty, I am honestly going to go get pumpkin seeds tomorrow for my husband because he actually ate it...he is bound to have parasites. Waitress was loud and obnoxious in Chinese yelling to the host constantly. Worse experience ever. Did I mention it was $17.99 a plate?

We have groups 54 people come. Why? Why? Why? Because we are from another place? Very bad services - brusquely rude We never coming back

Clean and friendly. Don't be fool by the outside. Very nice inside and good food too. What you would expect from a Chinese buffet.

I have eaten here a few times before. What impressed me this time was the service. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. He was always making sure that we had what we ordered and /or needed to order again. He also refilled our water on the regular. I tried a vodka mule cocktail this time. It was well balanced and tasty. The food itself was delicious and fresh tasting. We paced our selves ordering only much as we could eat in one order. Among my favorites were the passion roll, shrimp yakitori and mango tango. We ordered a lot of sashimi and it tasted fresh and most importantly we felt great afterwards. We finished our meal with green tea ice cream. It was a good experience overall.

The food was delicious. The rolls were bigger than we anticipated. It was about $100 for the three of us to eat and we definitely got our moneys worth. Typically sushi costs us much more for a date night out. We had sodas, all you can eat and it came with ice cream at the end. The service is fast and efficient. The staff is also incredibly friendly. We were shocked to see how packed the restaurant was at 4:45pm, 15 min after opening. We were really happy with our meal and will go back.

I'll make the diplomatic assumption that changing the name is not top priority here. If that means their effort is going into the food they serve here, that is perfectly fine with me, because I did enjoy their lunch buffet. The buffet is is almost completely self-serve, and by that I mean everything is on the buffet tables, including plates, silverware, and paper napkins. The staff will bring you beverages and clear the table very promptly. The atmosphere is simple and straightforward, with pleasant music and no TVs. Today's buffet had some items I don't always see, such as papadam, and naan is on the buffet. The pakoras option was one I'd not seen elsewhere, cabbage. It was delicious, quite addicting, but also quite filling. There were several vegetarian options, 3 types of rice, 3 types of chicken, and a mutton entree. The spice level was ever so slightly higher than what I've had for some similar options at other restaurants in the area, which I also liked. There were multiple dessert entrees, including a vanilla custard/pudding, and a creamy kheer with a subtle and pleasant flavor of cinnamon. The buffet price, just over $17 for 1 person, is reasonable for the food you are offered and competitive with the other similar restaurants in the area. I'm glad to have so many buffet options within a few miles of my home; the difficult part is "Which one do I visit today?"

I can say it could have went up a little spicier but it was leaving me feeling like okay. That was a good amount of spice. Tender chicken with delicious tikka masala sauce which was nice and creamy. Also ordered paneer with peas. So so good. Also I love that they included plenty of rice . I've ordered from other places which they figured out. It was just one person eating so they only gave one container of rice. I like that there was two containers so I could have a couple good meals out of this. So really good bang for the buck. Fast and friendly staff and service for take out. My picture is my plate at my hotel since I got take out.
