In addition there were only 2 movers and one of them clearly did not have a lot of experience. If he wasn't given direction he was standing around. I shouldn't have to pay for on the job training. They did not have any moving equipment like dollies to help make the process go faster. They were putting stuff on the truck I told them not to in the walk through and did not remove all the trash furniture I requested. They should have better time management, a clear idea of what they are doing, how long it will actually take and use moving equipment to make the job faster. They should be honest about what they are capable of. To make matters worse one of the movers actually asked me for a tip after trying to charge me for any extra 20 minutes. They finished at 10minutes after and tried to charge me for 30 min after. After he saw I was clearly unhappy he also asked me for a positive review. They were completely insensitive to customer service. I called to complain about the fact that they put a GAUGE in my former landlords wall and created several nicks and scratch on my freshly painted apartment. The manager (?), Christian said he would speak to them and get back to me for a solution. That was 3 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything. I understand starting a new company but please be aware if you use this company. I am starting to think the positive reviews may be staged if they used the same movers that came to my house. One of the movers tried to flirt with me, clearly as a distraction. Don't be fooled by this behavior. I paid significantly more than budgeted and even though they were nice they were clearly not professional

Careful, accurate estimates, extremely careful attention to handling, not just wrapping furniture in moving blankets to avoid damage but METICULOUS wrapping, careful handling... every aspect of the move was absolutely top-drawer with thoughtful, professional attention to detail. The guys on the truck were all experienced, knowledgable longtime employees, not the day laborers who didn't know anything about how to do a professional move that other companies have employed. The fact that someone would choose to work with Daniel & Sons for 10 or 20 years says volumes itself. If this company can provide moving services to you, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER USING ANYONE ELSE!

Our experience was extraordinary, the work was impeccable, the price was very fair, and the most amazing thing of all was that the work was done in LESS THAN ONE WEEK!! The owner was very patient with us as we looked over all his sample books, going out of his way to figure out what we were looking for and suggesting fabrics. The chair looks great and we would recommend this place without hesitation. Although we brought the chair in ourselves, the owner's men would have picked it up and delivered it for us.

I don't count this against the movers because I should have made sure I included everything during the video call. I packed my own boxes and wrapped my own items to help ensure nothing could be broken. Through it all, Josh kept in good communication with me, answering all my inquiries, and working with the dispatchers to ensure proper delivery - which I made difficult with all my travels (I went on a vacation while waiting on my things and I kept having to reschedule my drop-off in Texas.) They were patient with my schedule, and everything was delivered safe and sound. They were cheaper than the U-haul Pod i was about to request, which was quite unexpected considering I moved 1700 miles away.
