He was always calm, very reassuring and my post op care was excellent. Thank-you to the chauffeurs that picked me up daily from the recovery home for an appointment with the doctor. The Surgical Facility was clean and has the newest equipment. His surgery team were all very experienced and the anesthesiologists was top notch This is often overlooked whether IV sedation or General are used. The pre op and aftercare were exceptional in every way. My results are fabulous. I could not be happier with my Deep Plane facelift, neck, upper and lower eyes plus added procedures. DR. RICARDO VEGA WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I went in for 360 Lipo & BBL February 2024. He suggested I also do lipo on my thighs and became hostile when I declined. He made very disparaging remarks about me in Spanish before, during (I woke up during anesthesia), and after my surgery. He made me extremely uncomfortable during my consultation with him the day before my surgery and I went in feeling very disappointed. He was extremely rude when there was a scheduling conflict for one of the post-op massages I had paid for. I researched for over a year and read reviews praising his bedside manner before finally booking with him. Maybe he's more compassionate and more pleasant toward his other patients but that was simply not my experience. I felt completely rushed and like he couldn't be bothered to answer any of my questions/concerns. I would ask clarifying questions and his answers were sarcastic, condescending and dismissive. So nasty and so rude. But what was I supposed to do? I had already flown all the way to Mexico, taken time off work, and spent thousands of dollars. Went to Tijuana looking to save on cosmetic surgery but in the end, you always get what you pay for! Lesson learned. I couldn't wait to go home and I would never go back. Dr. Vega is a perfectionist and a master! I had such a great experience with him and his amazing staff. I got a thigh lift with lipo, circular tummy tuck, and BBL. I cannot believe these are really my thighs. He got rid of cellulite, fat, and loose skin...it's crazy. I also love my waist/belly area and my butt but those are still very swollen as I'm 8 days post op. Pics below. Dr. Vega and his staff really care about you, and they are very attentive post-op. I have been seen either every day or every other day since surgery (they come and get you from your recovery house) so they can clean my incisions, check on my progress, etc. I would highly recommend him. I went to Dr Vega almost 19 years ago for a mommy makeover I was extremely with my results. 2 years later he returned for breast in plants. I had a horrible experience. I had 2 breast lifts with Dr Vega. My breasts were very saggy and deflated after having a baby. My first lift with implants i ended up with a flipped implant and severe sagging after just 3 months. I complained and he said he would do a revision for me for just the cost of anesthesia. I woke up during the procedure, That alone I am traumatized. He used the same implants from the first procedure, he just lifted my breasts up again. Today I am 9 months post op and my breasts are sagging again, and I can flip my left implant around again. It is so awful. They were not attentive, and made me feel like they didn't care about me. I told him before the second procedure I wanted them smaller, to avoid sagging again, and he said it wouldn't look good on me. Then he told me that I needed a tummy tuck next, and mind you, I never mentioned concerns about my tummy. Now I am stuck with saggy defected breasts, and self conscious about my tummy. I dont recommend him AT ALL or implants. Don't let his fancy offices confuse you. They don't give a shit about their patients. It's a chop shop for plastic surgery. And when youre not happy with your results, there is NOTHING you can do. This is your warning. read more

Botched and robbed Review is 4 yrs overdue. My experience with Vega and his head admin was not pleasant. I will breakdown both individually. Vega - I was botched and also given a BBL I did not ask for. I went for body sculpt and breast repair. The BBL has kept me at home, embarrassed to go out because of the size, I dont fit into any clothing properly and the left side is much larger than the right. My right side actually looks like my normal self, I already had a large butt which I actually wanted reduced. I am 50 and for once I really wanted to fit into my 5'1 frame and requested a full body lipo. My left side was recognized by his admin as un even and lumpy. My breasts ended up with implants which I also didnt ask for. I had a breast reduction in 2004 because I am naturally large, I wanted them lifted again. My nipples actually face eachother and the right breast falls under my armpit. Admin (Car-men) - she robbed my deposit and my life. After consulting 3 times to get rid of lumps, unwanted BBL and implants she still asked for addl monies. I left a deposit and my dates were pushed back several times due to covid. However once covid permitted clearance I was finally provided with a set date of Nov. Prior to that in July I miscarried at 5 months. The miscarriage left me anemic, I almost lost my life and needed lots of blood transfusions and lastly I was laid off work. She kept my money. Zero refund. I was told to keep the date or their policy was no money back as they go through trouble reserving the surgical center. She obviously thought about payment vs my health. No Dr in their right mind should operate anyone who is anemic with a hemoglobin level of 3. It took me 2 yrs to recuperate my body and has taken me 4 yrs to save enough money to get rid of the unwanted, uneven, lumpy BBL that hurts when I sit and lay and the implants. Please beware. I do not recommend this practice at all. There are several board certified surgeons in the area that will care about your appearance and health. read more

I would like to start my review off by saying first of all this was one of the cleanest most sanitized doctor's office that I've ever been in. I'm from Los Angeles California and I researched and researched to try to find a great cosmetic surgeon. I researched for about 4 years and I happened to come across doctor Vegas in Tijuana......OMG I only have great things to say about dr. Vega and his medical crew EVERYONE was kind and courteous they went out of their way to make sure that I was happy and comfortable at all times. I completely and totally appreciated everything and everyone from... Carlos to Monse who I Believe are the office administrators..... Ramona who gave me my massages... Nurse Isabel who made sure I was comfortable the whole time Maggie the office administrator and America who was my driver..Marcos was also super kind... I could go on and on about my experience in Tijuana first of all I was put in a very nice extremely beautiful clean Hotel which was very close to the doctor's office . In addition to this Dr Vegas office is located right off the border which made it extremely extremely convenient for me. The doctor's office has a doorman which I've never experienced before the Hotel had several door men.. Whom I should add were warm and accommodating... The restaurants near the hotel were Superior in food and cleanliness I know good food my because my father Ave brother are both chefs. I was extremely impressed with the food... Dr. Vega's is one of the only doctors that I have found where you actually have a personal nurse that stays in the hospital with you for the night.... However I was extremely surprised when a nurse knocked on the door of my hotel room to take care of me for the next night I was shocked...I am not sure of my tolerance for pain however I am 13 days after surgery I feel normal even good... I had a full mommy makeover and I have experienced no major pain at all from day one no pain OMGGGGG.....I am completely shocked!!! I cannot think of even one complaint . My experience with Dr Vega and his office and having surgery in Tijuana has actually been one of the best experience I've ever had. I AM SOLD....
