Dr. Will was my primary care physician years ago, and after he left his previous location, I quickly realized how hard it is to find someone of his caliber. I tried another doctor, but it wasn't even close. After putting off a physical for about two years now, I was stoked when my wife found his new practice. As a former elite athlete of 25 years, I've accumulated the usual wear and tear over the years. What set Dr. Will apart from day one was his thoughtful, conservative approach. Years ago, I came to him with hip pain that bugged for years and got to the point it would occasionally cause pain/numbness down my entire leg, I was pretty miserable. Instead of jumping to surgery, he recommended stretching, strengthening, and physical therapy. About a month later, the pain was gone and hasn't come back. Fast forward to today, I came in for a physical with hopes of solving a knee injury that's been keeping me from being very active. Within five minutes, he pinpointed the issue and gave me a clear path forward. Beyond just treatment though, Dr. Will took time to understand my overall lifestyle and checked in on me personally. It's rare to find a doctor who genuinely cares on that level. He's not just a fantastic physician, he's a great person. I can't recommend him or his new practice highly enough. I won't be going anywhere else for care for the foreseeable future, and while I haven't tried the facials or additional treatments his location offers, I definitely plan to at some point. read more

I went to Sports Medspa where the approach is comprehensive and strategy is key to achieving your specific objectives. I started with a Custom Medical Facial. Sasha, the aesthetician created a personal facial treatment to address my skin's specific needs. The ambiance is very relaxing with low key lights and soft music. This facial is done in stages, and with each stage there is a defining goal. The entire process is therapeutic. Exfoliation gets rid of impurities and triggers cell renewal. Intermittently, there is a cooling, bubbly effect with the use of a fan. Seamlessly, the next stage is a sensation of warmth on your face. A soft warmth, igniting the skin while Sasha applies light pressure, strategic massage techniques to remove fluid buildup with lymphatic drainage. The final stage is a cooling sensation with pores tightening, with a fresh, clean renewal. Your skin is glowing. Saha is extremely knowledgeable and skillfully adept. With this wonderful, collaborative, talented team at Sports Medspa, that Dr Will orchestrated, I felt very secure addressing two areas that needed attention: my deep frown lines between my eyebrows and my aging, thinning lips. Renee, the nurse injector alleviated all my fears. She numbed my lips and then she injected " pain-free", Versa lip filler, while shaping and contouring my lips. The combination of Renee's artistry, skill and this Versa lip filler gave my disappearing lips a new full youthful lift. Natural looking- no duck here!! Next, Renee had to address my deep crease between my eyebrows from years of frowning and squinting. This line created an angry scowl expression which needed to be softened. We opted for Dysport and again, Renee administered it pain-free and it was over with. Renee is delicate, knows what she is doing and is artistic. First time visiting Sports Med Spa for their soft opening between February 6 to February 20. It's located in a small plaza close to Morena Blvd and minutes away from Costco. I went during a weekday late morning and there's plenty of parking and street parking. I was greeted by Natalia, the lovely receptionist and Reilly, the lead aesthetician. Natalia was very sweet and kind, helped make the check-in process easy, filled out a few waivers on the iPad and filled out a short paper questionnaire about what I'm looking to improve. I tried the Visia skin analysis, which only took a few seconds to process (noninvasive, you put your face into a scanner and it takes highly detailed pictures/scan of your face). Then Reilly went over in detail each analysis, which consisted of texture, wrinkles, pores, sun spots, brown spots, etc! This was helpful to know what areas needed improvement and it would be great to see the next time I come in changes/improvements when I scan again which does a comparative analysis. Then I decided to do a lash lift, which was a first time for me. I've done lash extensions before, but I always find them irritating even with a great lash artist and good quality lashes, I just find myself picking and rubbing my eyes, it also sucks that a lot fall out if you're not careful. I liked the idea of doing a lift where it's still my natural lashes, but more lifted and curly with a lot less maintenance. Riley did my lash lift which took about 40 minutes and was completely painless. I wish I had a before picture but basically my lashes are extremely straight and you can't really see them because they're so straight, now you can see my lashes curly and lifted above my lids! The experience was comfortable and everyone is really friendly. Dr. Stendardi and the office manager Melodi were both in and showed me around the facility and answered all my questions. My first visit, I met with Dr. Will and he was my injector, he listened to my concerns and also addressed me still wanting to look natural and not completely frozen. He did an amazing job! My second visit was with Janay for the Visia skin analysis. Janay is so sweet and thorough. She went over everything and it was pretty gnarly to see my skin so in depth. She recommended a few things and I got myself booked for a facial. The facial was amazing, my skin was glowing and it felt so good. During my facial we talked about concerns I have with acne scarring and she recommended I see Bethany for a SkinPen consult. I booked a consult and Bethany was so great, explained the process and booked an appointment to have it done. Bethany is so caring, she made sure I was comfortable the entire time and explained the process as she was doing it. I've had a few questions since having the procedure and everyone has been so great with answering my questions. I can't forget about Aubrey! Aubrey is great, every time I text with questions or call, she responds right away and she's always a delight when you first walk in! I recently visited Sports MedSpa for the Visia Skin Analysis. Reilly, the Lead Aesthetician who performed the analysis, was very knowledgeable about the field and walked me through my results in detail. The test itself was very simple - you set your chin and forehead against a rest and you sit still with your eyes closed for about a minute while the machine captures images. Reilly was able to show me an in-depth view of certain aspects of my skin, such as UV spots, wrinkles, brown spots, pores, etc which was helpful to know! I was also able to see what my "Truskin Age" was compared to my actual age given the overall data gathered in the test. After the analysis, she was able to provide suggestions on what procedures and treatments she'd suggest for my particular skin needs and goals. The ambiance of the facility was relaxing and inviting. When you enter, you are greeted by Natalia (guest relations), a nice seating area, beautiful decor, and when I was there they had a coffee machine setup for customer use. Melodi (Ops Manager), was there as well and was happy to show me around the facility and explain their services. Went in for a custom facial today with Riley. The experience at Sports Med Spa was incredible from start to finish. I was welcomed by the front desk staff, offered coffee and water. Staff was friendly, professional, and personable, as well as timely. The spa room was very clean and relaxing. I had a 3D skin analysis, which was a new experience for me and I have not seen other spas that offer this. It gave me a lot of insight on my skin and its needs. It was very helpful to customize my facial needs. Riley, who was my esthetician was very welcoming and patient. She took time to listen to all of my concerns, needs, and answered all of my questions.
