Honest Review / Warning - Spa in Tijuana I want to share my experience so others can avoid the same issue. I was quoted $750 USD for microneedling, Ultraformer, and Endymed. I clearly confirmed the price in US dollars. However, when my credit card was charged, the total came out to $832 USD. This spa uses its own exchange rate when charging credit cards, treating the transaction as if they are selling you your own dollars at 19 pesos per dollar. This was never clearly disclosed upfront. When I questioned the charge, they blamed my bank and claimed it was a credit card fee. This explanation is false--I used the same credit card for other purchases, and those charges were exactly as expected. When I tried to call them, they suddenly claimed they do not answer phone calls, even though they had answered my calls before. They responded only by WhatsApp, sent a sarcastic message, showed no accountability, and did not apologize. This experience shows a lack of price transparency, honesty, and professionalism. Advice: If you decide to go to any spa in Tijuana, get the final price in writing, confirm whether they charge in USD or pesos, and ask what exchange rate will be used. WARNING to all USA Customers....DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! This is the type of wannabe Med Spa you see on the news or read about where patients have botched procedures and end up disfigured or being rushed into emergency rooms for life saving surgery. The staff is unbelievably rude to non Spanish speakers. I personally heard them talking bad about patients while they sat in the so called waiting area. Small kids are allowed to lay on the floor yelling or crying while other kids and their parents are sitting there eating Costco hot dogs. This is absolutely unreal and I couldn't make this stuff up. Here's the more concerning part. A staff member in regular plain clothes walks around the waiting area applying numbing cream on patients faces with nothing but a pair of latex gloves on. She used the same gloves while touching everyone's faces one right after the other. I could not believe that not a single person said anything and allowed her to touch them while witnessing what she was doing. These people sat there with white cream slathered all over their faces just staring at each other, it was almost comical. To make matters even worse this same staff member comes back out 10 mins later with a small medical cart of sorts containing about 20 Botox syringes and begins injecting patients right there in the waiting area in front of everyone. The staff injected and wiped drops of blood from patients faces as she moved down the line as she treated those that were getting Botox. Needless to say we did not have any treatment done at this establishment, which we knew the moment we walked in and saw people eating in the waiting area. Please consider this a WARNING it's not worth chancing your health just to save a few dollars. I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel I must warn others. Do not purchase a package. Below is the last message I sent to the med spa and there's no response. Dear Vive Medical Spa, I want to express my disappointment regarding the spa's failure to honor the package and its terms I purchased on 04AUG23 for three Morpheus8 sessions. Given the summary of facts I provided, I do not find the spa's solution to buy another package acceptable. Summary of Facts -I purchased the package on 04AUG23 during my friend's appointment. -There was no consultation or paperwork. My friend and I asked if there was an expiration date. We were both told there is not, but it's recommended to come in 4-8 weeks after a session for best results. -I paid for half of the package when I checked out and was given a receipt (that does not include an expiration and I received nothing else). -I came back for the second session 13FEB24. At this session both my friend and I asked when we needed to come back for the third session. We were both told again there is not an expiration because the spa knows it's difficult for U.S. patients to cross the border sometimes, but it's recommended to come in 4-8 weeks after a session for best results. Because of this statement, I paid the second half of the package instead of the option to pay just two sessions. -I had to cancel my third appointment in October 2024 because I had covid so I tried to schedule the last session this year once I felt better. This is when I found out the terms of my package I purchased were either changed because now there is an expiration date (of August 2024) that I was originally told does not exist. Or all the employees my friend and I spoke to while at the spa were either also misinformed and giving us the wrong information, or unfortunately, lying. As a result of the spa's mistake, I can't rebook the third session since its after the new expiration date and (even though I originally had the third session booked for October 2024, after the 'expiration date') I have lost $742 U.S. dollars that I would like returned. I am deeply disappointed as previous visits to the spa had always been pleasant, but I have lost my faith and trust in this establishment. To resolve this matter, I will be contacting the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO) (Federal Consumer Protection Agency) and submitting a complaint. I am literally OBSESSED with Dr Erandy!!!!! She has done my cheeks, nose, jaw, under eyes, Botox, lips all of it! She is just amazing. I see her every 3 to 6 months and I always ask her. Never mind the place treating you like cattle and the gross bathrooms stacked with trash. I haaaate what they did with my eyes. I wanted them to correct my hood overlap and get a fox eye look. I wanted more lid space. Like Lady Gaga or Marilyn Monroe if that makes sense. Instead the doctor took skin from under the crease. Making my hoods bigger with smaller eyelids and changed the shape of my eyes. The smaller eyelids, due to skin being taken where it shouldn't have, also tugs on my inner corners. I had to re- learn how to do makeup for a MORE HOODED eye. Idk if it's fixable and I truly regret it. The doctor barely listened to me, because they move you fast. After the surgery, seeing hot the stitches were stitched downward I thought I didn't think they understood. I waited to review. I got it almost a year ago. read more

One of the worse and scariest experiences I have ever been through. I traveled all the way to Mexico to get lip filler at this place since it had good reviews and it was affordable. This lady went soo far into my bottom lip that it almost pierced my lip all the way through she had to stop because it was so bad to the point, my lip bruised up immediately, and I wasn't having any circulation on my lip. She kept pinching my lip and she called it "massaging", but it hurt so bad it got to the point she said she had to dissolve my lip because if not, it would get worse. I understand accidents happen, and sometimes these are the consequences that people have to go through while doing these procedures, but the lack of empathy from these people was unbelievable. I sat there and cried because I was in so much pain and she just stared at me. It looked like she was laughing through her mask And all she could say is that she detected it on time before it got worse like it wasn't her fault, when the coordinator came in pretty much all she told me was that I wasn't the first and I wasn't going to be the last that this has happened to and then I was still going to have to pay full price for the lip injections. The side of my lip is still currently numb, and the whole side of my face hurts so bad like if she hit a nerve. This clinic makes so much money and has so many clients that they literally don't care. You're just another client to them... I should've left while I was sitting in the lobby and they offered another client $100 discount since they messed up her cheek fillers. Please be careful. Lupita the check in receptionist was quick, helpful and "RECEPTIVE" wich is exactly what you need as first impression. Lupita, as well as the other girls were extremely kind!
