I've had a horrific and life threatening experience with Dr Felix in Tijuana VIVE location. After having surgery with him I'm developed a deadly disease from dirty surgical instruments (NECROSIS). I only met Dr Felix 1 time when he came into my rm to draw the lipo/bbl areas 5 hours later at 930pm I was taken into the surgery room the dr was no where to be seen! After he was also not there to be seen. Next day he was also not available to be seen. I stayed at there recovery home for 2 nights after them double booking and asking me to leave early. Its started showing up as hot red bump around day 5. I went back 14 days later to follow up Dr lukken said it was totally normal there is nothing wrong with you. He wrote a prescription and asked me to come back in 15 days. I went home the following 2 days the pain became unbearable and extremely hot and tender. I immediately went back that was Friday 10/25 he insisted nothing was wrong, till I demanded blood work and to see someone who actually know what this is. They hospitalized me that night and hook me up to an IV I had to wait till Saturday for a Dr to Come in because according to the nurses the Dr doesn't come in Saturday or Sunday (even though I'm having an emergency! He eventually showed up Saturday evening he removed 2 syringes of puss I will attach photos. He said he would be back tomorrow Sunday and never came. He showed back up Monday and said the extra liquid in my buttock area has actually grown and that they still don't have results for the labs sent in for the puss syringes. We are now at 10/28 Monday I have not heard a word from Dr Felix. After that we ordered a cat scan also showing that everything has gotten worse! Meaning my entire time there I'm getting a run around about my surgeon coming and he never comes. Then today Wednesday they come in and say i need a blood transfusion and that I'm anemic. So from the time I went in things only got worse! This has been such a scary moment in my life and it's still not over I'm starting all over but I'm coming home to the states hoping everything works out. When we asked for our money back, we got a bit of a run around and then they decided to give us a "credit " for the spa area, instead of the cash she paid upfront. They make you feel comfortable not to be afraid to ask questions or extra assistance and always check up on you with anything you need. I had a male lipo, bbl, tummy tuck, and more. My experience with vive is not like most but it shows the type of business this is. I had complications and as much as I know my body reacted a certain way I was still cleared for surgery. The process from the payment to the recovery house to the communication to the lack of empathy really blew my mind. I absolutely love my doctor. Dr Anaya he did an amazing job. First off communication is TERRIBLE! I was told my surgery would be on the 8th was told 3 days before come in for blood and procedure same day on the 7th, the day comes and reception tells me I'm booked for the 9th. While waiting there was another lady whose doctor cancelled on her TWICE already, was told by another patient it's common. I had chin lipo + "skintite", my results so far are very minimal like I wasted money. I really don't think skintite was done either. My before and after there's not much difference except the big hole on my face. Save your money ladies and go elsewhere especially them big procedures, it's more expensive to fix a messed up surgery than it is to do it right the first time. No, just no . I ignored the bad reviews and went anyway because a friend of mines wife went here and said it went well. I got breast implants with lift, they are botched(very uneven, the scars are very, very crooked, and I was told at a recent consultation that they didn't close the pocket correctly and so one implant even flipped), and now I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed . I'm extremely sad about this whole situation. I gave them time to heal while remaining hopeful. It's well past the waiting period and they look terrible. I can't even take off my bra now without feeling self conscious. I ignored all the warning signs, rude front desk service, no consultation, cold& harsh/rushed conversation with my surgeon, the same day as surgery & smelly rooms(not the lobby but in the actual hospital). I wish I had left. I had decent implants prior, and now I am paying the price for fixing something that did not urgently need to be fixed all because I wanted to go smaller. I don't expect any kind of apology or even a refund from this, I just want to warn you guys and hopefully this helps at least one person out there . Didn't get to meet my surgeon until the day of the surgery for like 10 minutes for a bbl/lipo/breast implants and he said I couldn't do the breast because I also "needed a lift" which wasn't true (later got it done somewhere else). He also said that my skin was too loose so I needed J Plasma treatment to make sure I had nice results, this is all things that should've been talked about before the day of surgery but it seems like If you don't have a large instagram following to promote them they don't really care about your outcomes. I was left with an uneven stomach that crease weird because of excess fat they left. I explained I wanted to emphasize my pear shape and only really fill in my hip dips and he said that was okay and then left me looking like an hourglass, full Kim k. Paid extra for lipo on my upper thighs and arms, they didn't even touch fat from either area. And I was in the worst possible pain in my life. I get tattoos for fun I don't mind pain, but I was fully blacking out for at least 2 weeks after surgery every time I wanted to stand or sit it was terrible. After I woke up I had a full blown panic attack and one of the male nurses sedated me and sat and comforted me I don't remember his name but he was the only good part of this whole experience. The pain meds they give you after surgery don't work at all and caused a yeast infection. I don't even know where to start. Had surgery on the 25 of January. I paid 11k for a breast reduction and BBL. The rooms were dirty. There were stains on my bed sheets. The hospital is really low quality with low quality beds. The nurses are so mean and the massage nurse Mari will bully you into buying things. I told them I was in pain and was left in pain for about 1 hour in a half until I told them it's been a hour in a half. She gave me attitude the rest of the day after that. I told my nurse I didn't like papaya and her response was "well then don't eat it". So I didn't get to eat till the night nurses got there. They were super sweet. Fast forward to recovery. I got my stitches removed on February 14. Ever since then my wounds have reopened It got pretty bad this week I've been crying. I was scared, overwhelmed and I absolutely regret doing this and going here at this point. I reached out to my surgeon Dr. Luis Orozco and he left me on read. The nurses that you're supposed to contact told me it was my faja bra they gave me Which is unlikely cause there solution was to losen it when it's been lose this whole time. The only reason I'm giving 1 star is for the Dr. that took my stitches out. She took a day to respond but she suggested medication and I started to see results I honestly can't believe I paid 11 thousand dollars and have been treated so cheaply . Really do your research on recovery Because this has been the most horrible experience. You wait all day to be seen by your surgeon just for him to tell me I need an added surgery (to remove some of my rib) for rhinoplasty. I had to cancel because I had no more money. I had already been there all day since 9am fasting just to be told this info last minute. Plastic surgery really needs both pre and post op appointments so that things like this are addressed ahead of time. I have been calling and texting since my surgery date (the 9th), so almost a week now trying to get my money back and nothing. They require cash and this is why!
