It was a great experience at Clinica Clausel. Dr. Marc Chabrier is an experienced physician that did my lipo. When coming from the U.S it's hard to pick a Doctor. What sold me was his meticulous way of explaining my procedure, also there was a procedure that we spoke about online, but when he say me in person, it was not necessary, this gave me even more trust in him since he was honest. The clinic was clean my anesthesiologist was great he made sure I did not have any pain. The reason why I ended chossing the clinic was because Dr. Marc Chabrier only performs one procedure a day and I got one night stay in the clinic with a 24 hr. nurse. I felt like a VIP during my stay here To me this made the difference. The receptionist was also great and helped my family get accommodations. I met with him twice, called him twice and emailed him a few times before deciding to have a procedure with him. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. My mother Diana Gonzalez got surgery with this doctor. It has been the most stressful and horrific experience. My mom payed for lipo + fat transfer to glutes. She PAYED for both procedures, but doctor ONLY performed lipo. Doctor then stated after surgery that she can go back and he'll complete the work on her glute area. He then took back his word and STOLE her money. Nothing was refunded. On top of that my mother has been in the emergency room THREE TIMES after her procedure. We are now held responsible for medical expenses. She became anemic with how much blood was lost. 2 bags of blood had to purchased and induced. She now needs surgery to drain out water and clean out infection. On top of another surgery she needs pain meds and antibiotics for recovery. The absolute nerve of this doctor!!!!!!! Stealing and underdelivering what was agreed on plus post care should be illegal. BEWARE!!!! Please go somewhere else this fraud doctor does not deserve your hard earned money. It has been hell, my mother has been in the hospital constantly for the past 2 weeks. After this next procedure that we now need to do in order to correct this awful thief doctors work who knows how long she'll need to stay in the emergency room to recover. I'm rewriting this review after having all of my work done. I recommend Dr. Chabrier. If you want to find a doctor in Mexico, I think he might be the best doctor there for this rate. He's also nice, fluent in English, and Quick to reply to emails. His nurses are also nice. He's French, not Mexican. Not that that matters, but his accent is cool. Yelp keeps removing my body pictures. I'm trying to post more again today with a bathing suit on. Dr. Chabrier did surgery on me twice, two weeks apart (I pushed to get these done so close together as I had to move and couldn't miss more than 30 days or work). $6000: The first procedure was a mommy makeover, 20 year old saline breast implants were replaced with silicone ones, I had my first tummy tuck and first BBL, Although I had had extensive liposuction before which unfortunately left me short on available fat. I got one quote in San Diego for 19,000 for this work. For the mommy makeover only, no face work. $4000: for a "feather lift facelift (facelifts includes the neck in Mexico) and fat transfer to the face. I don't recommend this. I think my breasts are a little too low and the right one is an inch lower than the left. I eventually would like him to fix that. Everything has been closed since the quarantine. The feather lift" facelift I got was not what I was disappointing and I do not recommend that procedure. I only got a lift to the ear lobes. I didn't even know that was a thing. Not even the the middle part of my ear, no part of my scalp, JUST the earlobe! I have looked at many photos online and I can't find any photos or notes that mention this facelift procedure that only includes a lift up to the earlobe. Dr. Chabrier also injected fat in my temples and under my eyes and the results have been fantastic. Update: six months later, there doesn't seem to be any fat left In the face at all from those injections unfortunately. The tummy tuck is fine. The scar is high, but I was expecting that because I didn't have a lot of loose skin due to previous abdominal surgeries. I feel like my shape is much improved because of the BBL and lipo. There wasn't enough fat to get ideal results on the BBL, which is one reason why I was asking for a surgical lift. He didn't want to do one because he said when that's done you lose the inward curve Of the lower back above the butt which sounds reasonable. However, the back of my legs, my butt, and my whole back are loose, saggy, and unacceptable to me, not because of work Dr. chabrier did, Just because it wasn't fixed. I wanted more work to be done. I got 240 cc of fat on each side and 1/3 of that is expected to die. Still, I feel even that much gives a much nicer shape. Love the BBl and I sure wish I had enough fat to do it right. I still have tons of dimples on the bottom half and the skin is saggy. He says The best thing for me to do would be to gain 20 pounds, have more liposuction and more fat put into the butt and then lose the weight again. Fat cells don't increase in number only in size. So I wondered how that would work if when I lost the weight they would decrease again in size, but he says that it does work. In Mexico they aren't required to give you your medical records and dr. Chabrier declines to give me before and after photos and my medical records, which I don't understand. I still recommend Dr. Chabrier. If You need a doctor and you want to go to Mexico to save more than 50%, dr. Chabrier is probably the best one for the price. This is based on not only the reviews that I've seen but personal experience having met three other doctors in Mexico. read more

I want to see Dr. Chabrier in early August. I asked him about a procedure where you transfer fat from your stomach to your face (cheeks). Well, Dr Chabrier talked me out of it, saying "you don't have enough fat to harvest." I found that very refreshing especially after seeing a "top plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills," who said he could do the procedure. My experience with Dr. Chabrier and his team at Clinica Clausel was exceptional in all the ways I anticipated and many more. He is a mindful, talented, experienced surgeon with a natural touch who wants to be proud of his work. When I went in for a free consult on improving my midsection aesthetic, he suggested that I have an abdominal plication with 360 liposuction to get the flat tummy and trim waist he knew I was looking for. The price he quoted was a fraction of what it would have been at home in L.A. or really anywhere in the US. He was clear there would be no hidden charges, and that I would receive everything I needed--pain pills, garment, operating room, anesthesia, overnight stay if needed--with this price. Dr. Chabrier actually did think it best to keep me overnight. Nurse Katie took exquisite care of me during my stay at the clinic which is modern, calming, and tastefully decorated (important for a plastic surgeon). A masseuse even came to give me a gentle, healing massage treatment. If this is your first plunge into cosmetic surgery, keep in mind that, whoever your surgeon and wherever he or she practices, the procedure itself is only the beginning of your journey. The healing process may actually be a lengthy and emotionally challenging time for you. It's important to follow instructions, wear your garment or dressings correctly, and rest as much as possible. Even doing everything right, the area treated tends to heal in an uneven way. You wonder if bumpy areas will smooth out, when residual swelling will subside, if hard areas will soften, and sometimes the result gets compromised even with the best attention. That's when it really matters who you chose as your surgeon. I initially researched many accounts on-line that warned of dismissive, avoidant doctors unwilling to help when a patient, for whatever reason, had a poor result or even a serious complication. In my unusual case, a couple of small fat deposits appeared on my lower abdominal area during my, until that point, smooth healing. I told Dr. Chabrier my concern at a follow up appointment about two months after the initial procedure. He saw exactly what the problem was and without hesitation offered to perform a brief revision on me for no extra charge. You can't find a surgeon more accommodating, helpful, or invested than that any where in the world, and I feel very lucky to have been treated by him and his stellar team. I'm almost five months out of my initial procedure, and after a lot of waiting and wondering, I can say with confidence that I'm thrilled with my tight, trim, smooth midsection AND perky butt, which was yet another unexpected--well,--"perk!" A couple of days before surgery, Dr. Chabrier called and explained that he would have the fat from my tummy and back liposuction on hand to inject into another area of my body, if I liked, and it wouldn't cost extra. It was a very, "by the way," kind of option, but I'm really glad he offered, because the result looks great--subtle, natural, youthful. The clinic is conveniently located very close to San Ysidro, about a ten minute car ride from the TJ border. I found it very simple to cross on foot, then take a $5 cab ride.
