So I took the phone in and had the screen replaced and everything was good for about three weeks or so. After that the screen became on responsive and when that happened I immediately understood. These people will replace your screen and it will work for a small amount of time but ultimately it will stop working ,and when it does , I would imagine that they will not take accountability for it so I'm not even going to bring the device back to them. I would imagine that if I did bring the device back this would be the two possible scenarios: 1 - It's your fault because it's been three weeks 2 - We just don't know what the problem can be and there can be many reasons so we will hold your phone and try to figure it out but of course we won't figure it out and will not accept accountability. If you have an expensive device and you need a screen replacement you'll have to fork out the money to pay for the right equipment otherwise you shouldn't bother. If you have a high-end device don't take it here to be repaired because the repairs will not last long as they use subpar replacement parts that don't last very long. Go to Apple or a reputable third-party repair.

In any case yellow pages advertises the charge of $150 per hour, and that does include the commute of the technician to the site. With luck they had a same day appointment available for later in the day. A quick phone convo, and confirmation, and the tech, Dmitri, arrived promptly on time. I explained the problem to Dmitri, and showed him the issue at hand. He was confident that he could fix the major mess, and quickly went to diagnosis the problem. He was completely professional and worked diligently. Considering I had been without internet and dealing with this problem for some time I was happy to have someone attend to it. I'll admit it felt kind of touch and go there as we both put our heads together for a solution, and then he reached out to his boss and another network tech, and a little light bulb went off over his head and then he really went into a flurry of work. All in all in less than an hour, Dmitri had fixed a major headache of mine. He did it professionally, and with a problem-solving determination.
