I liked both doctors and was happy with their care. My satisfaction with the office staff has been steadily declining over the past 2 years, however. Over the past month I have tried repeatedly to get my records sent to a specialist for a necessary procedure. The office now uses an answering machine and does not respond to my messages. I've called multiple times over multiple days. No response. They've lost themselves a good patient.

With a history of dry eye, I called the office on Monday and spoke to Silvia. She understood my issue and scheduled me to come in later in the day. Less than a month after getting these, strange lines appeared on both lenses, almost like the glass was cracking. They replaced the lenses once, and I was told to pay thirty-five dollars, which I did. But just couple of days later, The exact same thing happened again to the new glasses they replaced, but only on one lens. Then I was told they couldn't replace them because I had already used my replacement. The staff also said I didn't have scratch protection which I asked for my receipt and definitely they charged me for it and claimed they had warned me not to leave my glasses in a hot car when I picked them up. That never happened. When I picked up my replacement glasses, they just adjusted them and handed them to me. Nobody discussed heat or gave care instructions. If someone had told me heat could permanently damage the lenses, I would have avoided it. Instead, I spent445 dollars on glasses that I wasn't even able to use, and no one was willing to help. What a Waste of money and time. The optician who assisted me was very rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was a tall woman with blonde hair who I spoke with during my last visit when I went to have my lenses replaced. She told me that she had warned me about leaving the glasses in a hot car, but that never happened. I find it extremely disappointing to be told something that simply isn't true straight to my face and not admit that the product is bad or simply replace the lenses or do something that both parties can be satisfied like offering to replace with small charge or any normal business will do other than blaming and lying to me. This is very poor customer service. Currently, I don't think they actually care enough to do something about it and make things right.

My insurance would pay for $180, with stipulations for an additional discount if I got 2 pairs of frames with lenses. The space is very clean and modernized, the Staff were all very professional and friendly, and I didn't get their name but the gentleman who performed my actual eye exam did such a good job! He was patient, taking his time, happily answering all my never-ending questions, re-doing and re-doing different lens strengths when I seemed unsure, going above and beyond to let me make sure my vision exam was as accurate as possible! I truly hope he winds up going far whether at Goswick or having his own Optometry practice, as I couldn't believe how much my vision improved with his help in getting an up to date and accurate new prescription! The selection of glasses is great, however I got the feeling they didn't want customers trying on and browsing the frames without being accompanied by Staff, which is understandable as there were maybe 8 other customers and they are high end designer frames. Although I would have loved being able to see and try on different styles, I didn't mind as the female Staff who was managing the floor was incredibly kind and helpful. I couldn't believe my luck, I went in only knowing I wanted a designer frame that could be both masculine and feminine, something without sharp angles to soften my face, but also professional.
