I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I paid 445 dollars for my glasses. I always keep my…read moreglasses in my car, usually in the glove box, and I've never had this problem with any other pair. Less than a month after getting these, strange lines appeared on both lenses, almost like the glass was cracking. They replaced the lenses once, and I was told to pay thirty-five dollars, which I did. But just couple of days later, The exact same thing happened again to the new glasses they replaced, but only on one lens. Then I was told they couldn't replace them because I had already used my replacement. The staff also said I didn't have scratch protection which I asked for my receipt and definitely they charged me for it and claimed they had warned me not to leave my glasses in a hot car when I picked them up. That never happened. When I picked up my replacement glasses, they just adjusted them and handed them to me. Nobody discussed heat or gave care instructions. If someone had told me heat could permanently damage the lenses, I would have avoided it. Instead, I spent445 dollars on glasses that I wasn't even able to use, and no one was willing to help. What a Waste of money and time. The optician who assisted me was very rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was a tall woman with blonde hair who I spoke with during my last visit when I went to have my lenses replaced. She told me that she had warned me about leaving the glasses in a hot car, but that never happened. I find it extremely disappointing to be told something that simply isn't true straight to my face and not admit that the product is bad or simply replace the lenses or do something that both parties can be satisfied like offering to replace with small charge or any normal business will do other than blaming and lying to me. This is very poor customer service. Currently, I don't think they actually care enough to do something about it and make things right.

The assistant manager in particular was very nice and gave me a lot of advice about my glasses from picking out the new ones to sending my old ones out for remaking. She even gave me a discount on the frames for pretty much no reason other than that my insurance didn't cover them until next year. Wish I'd caught her name so I could give her more credit for that. Made an appointment with Dr.Rebecca McLaughlin and was seen in about a week! The office is bright and sunny and super clean. Some country tunes playing in the waiting room and really friendly staff great you. Dr.McLaughlin was SO wonderful - saw me right on time, explained every step of the exam, and even helped me look up a new contact solution I was considering. So glad that they take my insurance (Harvard Pilgrim) AND they're just a few turns off of 395.

I was fitted for glasses with Michael, who was very knowledgeable. I ultimately made my decision after asking Michele, the receptionist. I like a woman's opinion, so sue me. The only problem was that I knew I only had $150 to spend through my insurance, the glasses I chose were $225, so let's see if I get hit with an overage bill. (would be my fault for having expensive taste ;) So -- great Doctor -- but know your spending limits :)

Each time I have an appointment I look forward to going. I won't go anywhere else for my eyewear. Her studio is beautiful and clean. Erica is very professional and she pays attention to detail. I have been going to her since I first found her studio back almost 4 years now. I don't live close at all but that doesn't stop me from going back. I will gladly travel over an hour to Studio 20/20 because it is just an overall great experience. My eyeglasses are really important to me. I would give Studio 20/20 a try. You will be glad you did.
